Bible Reading - Proverbs 23: 25~35

23:25 May your father and mother be glad; 네 아버지와 어머니가 기뻐할 것이요, 

may she who gave you birth rejoice! 너를 낳아 준 어머니가 즐거워할 것이다!

23:26 My son, give me your heart and let your eyes keep to my ways,

내 아들아, 너의 마음을 내게 주고 너의 눈이 나의 길을 지키게 하라.

23:27 for a prostitute is a deep pit and a wayward(말 안듣는,제 멋대로의) wife is a narrow well.

창녀는 깊은 구덩이이며 제 멋대로의(음란한) 아내는 좁은 우물이기 때문이다. 

23:28 Like a bandit(산적) she lies in wait, 그녀는 산적처럼 기다리고 있으며 

and multiplies the unfaithful among men. 남자들 중에서 불륜을 저지르는 사람을 늘린다.

23:29 Who has woe(비애)? Who has sorrow? Who has strife(다툼)? Who has complaints? 

누가 비애를, 슬픔을 다툼을 불평을 가지고 있는가?

Who has needless bruises? 누가 불필요한 멍이 드는가?

Who has bloodshot(충혈된) eyes? 누구의 눈이 충혈되어 있는가?

23:30 Those who linger(머물다) over wine, who go to sample bowls of mixed wine.

와인을 즐기는 사람들, 혼합 와인을 시음하러 가는 사람들이 그렇다. 

23:31 Do not gaze(응시하다) at wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup,

when it goes down smoothly!

포도주가 붉고 컵에서 반짝이며 부드럽게 넘어갈 때 그것을 쳐다보지(응시하지) 마라. 

23:32 In the end it bites like a snake and poisons like a viper.

결국에는 뱀처럼 물고, 독사처럼 독을 뿌릴 것이다.

23:33 Your eyes will see strange sights and your mind imagine confusing things.

너의 눈은 이상한 광경을 보고, 너의 마음은 혼란스러운 것들을 상상할 것이다.

23:34 You will be like one sleeping on the high seas, lying on top of the rigging(장비,선구).

너는 마치 돛대 위에 누워서 넓은 바다에서 잠을 자는 사람과 같을 것이다.

23:35 "They hit me," you will say, "but I'm not hurt! 

"그들이 나를 친다." "그러나 나는 다치지 않는다."고 너는 말할 것이다. 

They beat me, but I don't feel it! 

그들이 나를 때리지만 나는 그것을 느끼지 못한다. 

When will I wake up so I can find another drink?"

언제 일어나서 또 술을 마실 수 있을까?"라고 말할 것이다.
