Christians' core value is not keeping worship service, but keeping love. I am strongly disappointed the statement of a pastor who is chairman of The United Christian Churches of Korea mentioned during luncheon with President Moon Jae In today's afternoon. The chairman pastor said that Korean protestants are deeply regret to among new waves of pandemic last two weeks in Seoul area, because some churches became the source of this happening irresponsibly. But, he said that Korean protestants are also seriously worrying about the standard of Korea government towards Korean churches. He said that it seems that Korea government is against Korean churches to make them stop having Sunday worship service in the church building due to stop spreading pandemic. Consequently, he commented that Korea government should consider that Sunday worship service is the core of all Christians' life and no one can prevent or disrupt having worship service in person. I am deeply sorry for what the chairman pastor said about worship service in person. It is because Christians core value is not keeping worship but keeping true love. I do not know why the chairman pastor said too stupid thing! It is real fact until now that Korean churches have many portion of causing this new waves of pandemic among South Korea. Many new positive results are coming from Sunday worship service in person. It is absolute truth. And, Korean protestants have responsibility keep banning spread of COVID-19 now! So, I am deeply agree with the administrative order of Korea government banning worship service in person. The government has right and it should do especially in this season. Moreover, I strongly believe that churches must keep love in this season. What it means?? It means that Korean churches have to stand as the Maginot line whether preparing any kinds of disaster such as collapse of medical and administration system in Korea society. If Korea's medical and administration system could be broken down, Korean Christians must be front helping patients and poors. Rodney Stark, a professor of America religious social scientist, said that in his book 'Rise of Christianity' Early Christians welcomed patients and poors without any consideration while their family ran away in order to survive when epidemic happened in Roman society, so Christianity could be grown up in Roman empire. I strongly urges that 21st Korean Christians must do at least similar action among epidemic happening. Church is called for keeping system to run persistently by Triune God. So, I am deeply against what the chairman pastor saying "worship service in person is negotiable thing whether it must be closed or not". He is absolute wrong. In this season, the Church must close its worship service, and preparing the disaster like as the break down of Korea's medical and administrative system. Christians are last stand for protecting society from pandemic who are called by God. Wishing Reformation of Every Heart with Triune God.
