this (kind of) plant / these (kinds of) plants 괄호는 그냥 강조라고 보면 됩니다.물론 없어도 문장구성에는 아무 지장 없고요... 일차적으로 디스와 디즈 때문에 단수 복수가 결정 되죠. 그다음에 강조인 카인드 카인즈도 디스 디즈로 결정되고요...
