Be Saved by Knowing Jesus Christ, who Came as the Son of Man

성경말씀: 시편 80~82

Scripture Reading: Psalms 80~82

“여호와라 여호와라 자비롭고 은혜롭고 노하기를 더디하고 인자와 진실이 많은 하나님이라 (출34:6)” 하셨듯, 하나님은 진실로 은혜롭고 자비로운 사랑의 하나님이시므로, 하나님의 형상으로 만드신 사람들이 죄 가운데 죽기를 바라지 않고, 만물에 새겨진 창조 섭리와 말씀과 영으로 가르치시는 복음의 진리를 따라 올바른 믿음으로 대속과 구원 얻기를 바라시기 때문에, “요셉을 양떼처럼 인도하시는 이스라엘의 목자여 들어주소서 그룹 사이에 좌정하신 하나님이여 빛을 비추소서. 에브라임과 베냐민과 므낫세 앞에서 주의 능력을 일깨워 우리를 구원하소서. 하나님이여 우리를 회복시키시고 주의 얼굴을 우리에게 비추시고 구원을 얻게 하소서(80:1-3)” 하였듯, 먼 훗날 세상에 오셔서 이루실 일들을 시인을 통하여 간구하며 선포하게 하셨습니다.

For God is truly a God of grace, mercy, and love, as “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness (Exodus34:6)” Therefore, God hopes that people, who were created in the image of God will not die in sin, but will receive redemption and salvation through the right faith according to the truth of the gospel taught by the Word and the Holy Spirit and the providence of creation engraved in all things. So, God made the poet pray and proclaim what He would accomplish in the distant future when He came to the world as Jesus Christ, as “Hear us, O Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock; you who sit enthroned between the cherubim, shine forth, before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh. Awaken your, might; come and save us. Restore us, O God; make your face shine upon us, that we may be saved (80:1-3)”

그래서 “전능하신 하나님 여호와여 주의 백성들에게 언제까지 진노하시고 기도를 물리치시려나이까, 주께서 그들에게 눈물 젖은 빵을 먹이시고 많은 눈물을 마시게 하셨나이다. 우리가 이웃 나라에게 멸시를 받게 하시니 원수들이 우리를 조롱하나이다. 전능하신 하나님이여 우리를 회복시키시고 주의 얼굴을 우리에게 비추셔서 구원을 얻게 하소서(80:4-7)” 하였듯, 하나님의 백성들이 당할 고난을 미리 보고 간구하게 하셨는데, 하나님께서 예수 그리스도, 즉 임마누엘 하나님으로 오셔서 보호하고 가르치며 인도하고 사용하며 이루시는 은혜로만 대속과 구원을 얻게 된다는 뜻입니다.

So, the poet foresaw the suffering that God’s people would face and prayed for it, as “O Lord God Almighty, how long will your anger smolder against the prayers of your people? You have fed them with the bread of tears; you have made them drink tears by the bowlful. You have made us a source of contention to our neighbors, and our enemies mock us. Restore us, O God Almighty; make your face shine upon us, that we may be saved (80:4-7)” Because, redemption and salvation can only be obtained through the grace of God who came as Jesus Christ, that is, Immanuel God, to protect, teach, guide, use, and accomplish.

그러나 “포도나무 같은 우리를 애굽에서 인도하시고 이방 민족들을 쫓아내셨으며 우리를 심으셨나이다. 주께서 개간하신 온 땅에 가득 우리가 뿌리를 깊이 박게 하셨으며, 산들을 그늘로 덮고 거대한 백향목도 가지로 덮었으며, 가지가 바다까지 뻗었고 넝쿨이 강까지 번졌나이다. 어찌하여 주께서 담을 무너뜨리시고 지나가는 자들마다 포도를 따게 하셨나이까, 숲속의 멧돼지들이 약탈하고 들짐승들도 뜯어먹었나이다(80:8-13)” 하였듯, 이방인의 종으로 고난을 당하던 이스라엘 민족을 건져내고, 언약의 땅으로 인도하여 양육하던 이스라엘을 버리셨던 것처럼, 임마누엘 하나님의 은혜와 사랑과 능력 안에서 사는 믿음을 잃어버리는 순간 고난으로 징계하시는 하나님의 섭리를 가르치게 하셨습니다.

However, just as God saved the Israelites who suffered as slaves in Egypt, led them to the land of the covenant, and abandoned Israel, who He had raise, as “You brought a vine out of Egypt; you drove out the nations and planted it. You cleared the ground for it, and it took root and filled the land. The mountains were covered with its shade, the mighty cedars with its branches. It sent out its boughs to the Sea, its shoots as far as the River. Why have you broken down its walls so that all who pass by pick its grapes? Boars from the forest ravage it and the creatures of the field feed on it (80:8-13)” Because, God taught us the providence of God, who abandons and disciplines even those who received the grace and love of Immanuel God the moment their faith changed.

그래서 “전능하신 하나님이여 하늘에서 포도나무를 살펴보시고 우리에게 돌아오소서. 주의 능력으로 심으신 뿌리이고 주께서 아들로 일으켜 세우셨나이다. 주의 책망으로 포도나무가 잘리고 불타며 주의 백성이 멸망하나이다. 주께서 일으키시고 주의 오른쪽에 세우신 사람의 아들에게 주의 손을 얹으소서. 그러면 우리가 주를 떠나지 아니하리니 우리를 소생시키소서 우리가 다시 주의 이름을 부르리이다. 전능하신 하나님 여호와여 우리를 회복시키시고 주의 얼굴빛을 우리에게 돌리셔서 우리가 구원을 얻게 하소서(80:14-19)” 하였듯, 하나님의 은혜와 사랑과 능력 안에서 진실한 하나님의 백성으로 거듭나고 구원 얻는 은혜를 베풀어 주시기를 간구하게 하셨습니다.

So, God taught us to pray for the grace to be reborn as true people of God and to be saved through the grace, love and power of Immanuel God, as “Return to us, O God Almighty. Look down from heaven and see. Watch over this vine, the root your right hand has planted, the son you have raised up for yourself. Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire; at your rebuke your people perish. Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand, the son of man you have raised up for yourself. Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name. Restore us, O Lord God Almighty; you’re your face shine upon us, that we may be saved (80:14-19)”

그런데 “우리의 능력이신 하나님을 기쁘게 노래하고 이스라엘의 하나님을 향하여 크게 외치라. 소고를 치고 수금과 하프를 아름답게 연주하며 찬양하라. 초하루와 보름과 거룩한 절기에 뿔나팔을 불어라. 이스라엘을 위한 법령이고 야곱의 하나님의 규례라. 하나님께서 애굽을 치러 나아가실 때 요셉에게 법도로 정하셨으나 우리가 이해하지 못하는 언어를 들었으니, 이제 내가 그들의 어깨에서 짐을 벗겨주고 힘들게 일하던 손을 해방시키리라. 환난 중에 부르짖는 너희를 내가 건졌고 천둥치는 구름속에서 네게 응답하였으나 므리바 물에서 너를 시험하였느니라(81:1-7)” 하였듯, 하나님의 백성이 되었으면, 언제 어디서 어떤 상황에서도 하나님을 찬양하고 경배해야 되지만, 선지자들이 선포하는 법도를 알지 못하고 성령으로 가르쳐도 깨닫지 못하고 육신의 욕심을 따라 불평하고 원망하는 죄에 빠지므로 시험과 연단을 받는다 가르치셨습니다.

However, God taught us that anyone who becomes God’s people must praise and worship God anytime anywhere, but they do not know the words and laws that are proclaimed, and do not understand even when taught by the Holy Spirit, and fall into sin by complaining and resenting according to the desires of the flesh, and are subject to trials and discipline, as “Sing for joy to God our strength; shout aloud to the God of Jacob. Begin the music, strike the tambourine, play the melodious harp and lyre. Sound the ram’s horn at the New Moon, and when the moon is full, on the day of our Feast; this is a decree for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob. He established it as a statute for Joseph when he went out against Egypt, where we heard a language we did not understand. He says, ‘I removed the burden from their shoulders; their hands were set free from the basket. In your distress you called and I rescued you, I answered you out of a thundercloud; I tested you at the waters of Meribah (81:1-7)”

왜냐하면, “내 백성들아 내가 경고하는 말을 들으라 이스라엘아 너희가 만일 내 말을 들었으면, 너희 가운데 이방 신을 두지 말고 이방 신에게 절하지 말라. 나는 너를 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 낸 여호와 하나님이니 네 입을 크게 열면 내가 채워주리라. 그러나 내 백성 이스라엘은 내 말을 듣지 않고 나에게 복종하지 않았느니라. 그래서 내가 그들을 완악한 마음에 버려두어 임의로 행하게 하였느니라. 만일 내 백성이 내 말을 듣고 이스라엘아 나의 길을 따르면, 내가 얼마나 빨리 너희 대적들을 치고 원수들을 굴복시키겠느냐, 여호와를 미워하는 자들은 아무리 복종하는 체할지라도 그들의 형벌은 영원히 지속되리라(81:8-15” 하였듯, 순종하는 믿음에만 형통하게 역사하며 이루어 주시고, 거역하면 엄격하게 심판하시는 하나님의 섭리와 복음의 진리 때문입니다.

Because, it is the providence of God and the truth of the gospel of Christ that only those who obey thoroughly are successful and those who disobey are severely judged, as “Hear, O my people, and I will warn you-if you would but listen to me, O Israel. You shall have no foreign god among you; you shall not bow down to an alien god. I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it. But my people would not listen to me; Israel would not submit to me. So, I gave them over to their stubborn hearts to follow their own devices. If my people would but listen to me, if Israel would follow my ways, how quickly would I subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes. Those who hate the Lord would cringe before him, and their punishment would last forever (81:8-15)”

그래서 “하나님은 위대하신 하늘의 법정을 주재하시며 신들까지 심판하시느니라. 너희가 언제까지 악인들을 편애하며 불공정한 판결을 하려느냐, 가난한 자와 고아들의 송사를 변호하고 핍박받는 자와 궁핍한 자의 권리를 보호하며, 연약하고 궁핍한 자들을 사악한 자들에게서 구출하라. 그들은 어둠 속에 다니므로 땅의 기초가 흔들려도 알지 못하고 깨닫지 못하느니라. 내가 너희는 신들이고 다 지존자의 아들들이라 하였으나, 너희도 일반인들과 똑같이 죽고 다른 통치자들과 같이 죽으리라. 모든 나라가 다 주의 소유이오니 하나님이여 일어나사 세상을 심판하소서(82:1-8):” 간구하게 하셨으므로, 언약의 말씀에 현혹되지 말고, 경고의 말씀에 겁먹지 말고, 하나님의 말씀을 사랑하며 마음에 새기고 진리를 구하고 찾고 두드리는 사람에게 찾아와 그 마음에 새겨진 말씀들을 생각나게 하며 가르치시는 성령의 진리를 신뢰하며, 목숨까지 하나님께 맡기고 죽기까지 변함없이 순종하며 지켜야 구원을 얻습니다. 여러분 모두 그처럼 올바른 믿음으로 부활하여 천국에 들어가게 되기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

So, God taught us to ask for God’s grace and love, as “God presides in the great assembly; he gives judgement among the ‘gods’: How long will you defend the unjust and show partiality to the wicked? Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked. They know nothing, they understand nothing. They walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. I said, ‘You are ‘gods’ you are all sons of the Most-High. But you will die like mere men; you will fall like every other ruler. Rise up, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are your inheritance (82:1-8)” Therefore, no one be deceived by the words of the covenant, nor be afraid of the words of warning, but love the words of the Bible and engrave them in your heart, constantly ask, seek and find the truth, and receive the teachings of the Holy Spirit who reminds you of the words engraved in your heart. And only by trusting in the truth realized through the teachings of the Holy Spirit, and entrusting one’s life to God and obeying until death can one obtain redemption and salvation. I pray and fervently bless you all in the name of Jesus Christ, so that you may all attain resurrection with the right faith in Jesus and enter heaven and live forever and ever. Amen.
