이르시되 어떤 사람이 큰 잔치를 배설하고 많은 사람을 청하였더니 잔치할 시간에 그 청하였던 자들에게 종을 보내어 가로되 오소서 모든 것이 준비되었나이다 하매 다 일치하게 사양하여 하나는 가로되 나는 밭을 샀으매 불가불 나가 보아야 하겠으니 청컨대 나를 용서하도록 하라 하고 또 하나는 가로되 나는 소 다섯 겨리를 샀으매 시험하러 가니 청컨대 나를 용서하도록 하라 하고 또 하나는 가로되 나는 장가 들었으니 그러므로 가지 못하겠노라 하는지라

Luke 14:16-20

Jesus replied: "A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests.At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, 'Come, for everything is now ready.'"But they all alike began to make excuses. The first said, 'I have just bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please excuse me.'"Another said, 'I have just bought five yoke of oxen, and I'm on my way to try them out. Please excuse me.'"Still another said, 'I just got married, so I can't come.'

이 말씀의 해석은 어렵지 않다, 하나님께서 천국을 예비하시고 많은 사람들에게 천국에 들어오도록 초청하셨으나 많은 자들이 세상일에 빠져 진정으로 하나님 믿기를 거부하는 것입니다.이들은 하나님을 먼저 알고 믿었지만 형식적으로 신앙생활하고 있는 유대인들의 잘못된 태도를 주님께서 비유로 꾸짖는 말씀입니다.

누가복음 14:21-24

종이 돌아와 주인에게 그대로 고하니 이에 집주인이 노하여 그 종에게 이르되 빨리 시내의 거리와 골목으로 나가서 가난한 자들과 병신들과 소경들과 저는 자들을 데려오라 하니라, 종이 가로되 주인이여 명하신대로 하였으되 오히려 자리가 있나이다 주인이 종에게 이르되 길과 산울 가로 나가서 사람을 강권하여 데려다가 내 집을 채우라, 내가 너희에게 말하노니 전에 청하였던 그 사람은 하나도 내 잔치를 맛보지 못하리라 하였다 하시니라

유대인들 가운데 올바른 신앙행활을 하고 천국에 오는 자가 매우 드물었다. 그래서 하나님께서 이방인들에게 복음을 전파하여 하나님을 믿고 천국에 오도록 초정하신 것입니다. 그리고 먼저 초정받고 하나님을 믿었던 유대인들은 끝까지 불순종하고 회개하지 않는 신앙생활을 했기 때문에 주님은 그들을 천국에 들어오지 못하게 하신 것입니다. 이 말씀은 마태복음에 쓰여진 말씀으로 이어져야 올바른 해석이 이뤄진다.

마태복음 22:10-14

종들이 길에 나가 악한 자나 선한 자나 만나는 대로 모두 데려오니 혼인자리에 손이 가득한지라 임금이 손을 보러 들어올쌔 거기서 예복을 입지 않은 한 사람을 보고 가로되 친구여 어찌하여 예복을 입지 않고 여기 들어왔느냐 하니 저가 유구무언이어늘 임금이 사환들에게 말하되 그 수족을 결박하여 바깥 어두움에 내어 던지라 거기서 슬피 울며 이를 갊이 있으리라 하니라 청함을 받은 자는 많되 택함을 입은 자는 적으니라

예수님의 초청을 받은 무수한 이방인들이 예수를 믿고 교회 안에 가득히 들어와서 신앙생활을 하게 된 것이다.그러나 예수믿는 자들 가운데 깨끗한 세마포 옷을 입지 않은 자들이 보인다. 주님께서 깨끗한 세마포를 입지 않은 그리스도인들을 골라내어, 결박하고, 어두운 곳에 던지라 명하십니다.이 어두운 곳은 지옥을 가리킨다.지옥에 떨어진 교인들이 너무나 고통스러워 영원토록 이를 가는 것이다. 깨끗한 세마포는 성도들의 옳은 행실을 가리킨다. 결혼 예복을 입지 않은 그리스도인들은 회개에 합당한 열매를 맺지 않고 신앙생활하는 자들인 것이다.

요한계시록 19:8

그에게 허락하사 빛나고 깨끗한 세마포를 입게 하셨은즉 이 세마포는 성도들의 옳은 행실이로다 하더라

입술로만 회개하고 마음이 회개치 않고, 믿음과 사랑의 열매를 맺지 않는 신앙행활은 가짜 믿음이다, 이런 교인들은 평생 교회 다녔지면 형식적으로 신앙생활 했기 때문에 천국에 갈 수 없는 것이다.

The interpretation of this passage is not difficult. God prepared heaven and invited many people to enter heaven, but many people are caught up in worldly affairs and refuse to truly believe in God. This is the parable in which the Lord rebukes the wrong attitude of the Jews who knew and believed in God first but lived a formal life of faith.

Luke 14:21-24

"The servant came back and reported this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and ordered his servant, 'Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.'" 'Sir,' the servant said, 'what you ordered has been done, but there is still room.'"Then the master told his servant, 'Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full. I tell you, not one of those men who were invited will get a taste of my banquet.' "

Among the Jews, there were very few who lived a proper life of faith and came to heaven.That is why God invited the Gentiles to believe in God and come to heaven by spreading the gospel.And the Jews who were invited first and believed in God continued to disobey and live a life of faith without repentance, so the Lord did not allow them to enter the kingdom of heaven.This verse must be connected to the verse written in Matthew to be correctly interpreted.

Matthew 22:10-14

So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with guests."But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes.'Friend,' he asked, 'how did you get in here without wedding clothes?' The man was speechless."Then the king told the attendants, 'Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'"For many are invited, but few are chosen."

Countless Gentiles who received Jesus’ invitation came to believe in Jesus, filled the church, and lived a life of faith. However, among the believers in Jesus, there are those who do not wear clean linen. The Lord commands that Christians who do not wear clean linen be separated, bound, and thrown into a dark place. This dark place refers to hell. The believers who have fallen into hell will gnash their teeth in agony for eternity. The clean linen refers to the righteous conduct of the saints. Christians who do not wear wedding clothes are those who do not bear fruit worthy of repentance and live a life of faith.

Revelation 19:8

Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear." (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.)

A life of faith that repents only with the lips but does not repent in the heart and does not bear the fruit of faith and love is a false faith. These believers cannot go to heaven because they have lived a life of faith in a formal manner even if they have attended church their entire lives.
