.누가복음 14:28-30

너희 중에 누가 망대를 세우고자 할찐대 자기의 가진 것이 준공하기까지에 족할는지 먼저 앉아 그 비용을 예산하지 아니하겠느냐 그렇게 아니하여 그 기초만 쌓고 능히 이루지 못하면 보는 자가 다 비웃어 가로되 이 사람이 역사를 시작하고 능히 이루지 못하였다 하리라.

Luke 14:28-30

"Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Will he not first sit down and estimate the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it? For if he lays the foundation and is not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule him, saying, 'This fellow began to build and was not able to finish.‘

망대를 짓고자 하는 사람들은 총 공사 비용을 미리 계산합니다. 자재비, 인건비, 기타 경비를 계산하고, 이 모든 비용을 자기 돈으로 감당할 수 있을 때에야 공사를 시작합니다.공사를 시작하자마자 자금이 부족하여 기초만 놓고 중단하는 것은 어리석은 일입니다.지나가는 사람들은 그들의 어리석음을 비웃을 것입니다.예수님을 믿고 구원받아 천국에 가는 것은 망대를 짓는 것과 같습니다.모든 인간은 타락한 존재이며, 스스로 의로움이나 구원할 능력이 없습니다. 그러므로 모든 사람은 회개하고 예수님의 피로 모든 죄를 씻어 예수님의 의를 자신의 의로 받아들여야 합니다.

죄인들이 자신의 죄를 회개하지 않고 주님 앞에서 그들의 의를 자랑하려고 할 때 이런 자들은 다 주님의 심판을 받고 멸망한다. 이들은 예수님의 의를 의지 하지 않기 때문이다. 천국에 들어가려면 먼저 인간의 생각과 교리로는 결코 천국에 들어갈 수 없다는 것을 인정하고 계산해야 한다. 처음부터 예수님의 말씀만 의지하고 따르겠다고 결심하는 자가 천국에 들어갈 수 있다. 하나님의 백성은 하나님의 말씀에 인간의 생각을 섞으려는 태도를 미리 버려야 한다. 세상적인 것을 의지하는 그리스도인들은 삶의 어려움에 직면했을 때 결국 예수님에 대한 믿음을 포기합니다.

누가복음 14:31-32

또 어떤 임금이 다른 임금과 싸우러 갈 때, 먼저 앉아서 만 명으로 이만 명을 거느리고 오는 임금을 당해낼 수 있을지 헤아려 보지 아니하겠느냐? 그렇지 않으면 다른 임금이 아직 멀리 있을 때 사절을 보내 평화를 청할 것이다.

예수님을 믿는 것은 사탄과 싸우는 것이다. 사탄은 끊임없이 우리 안에 세상적인 욕망을 심어줍니다. 인간의 힘만으로는 사탄의 모든 유혹을 이길 수 없습니다. 이 사실을 미리 알고 예수님께 굳게 매달리는 것이 영적 전쟁에서 승리하는 열쇠입니다. 우리는 자신의 부족함을 깨닫고 오직 예수님만을 의지해야 합니다. 예수님을 믿는 사람들이 예수님의 말씀 대신에 자신의 소유나 능력을 의지한다면, 그는 사탄의 공격을 이길 수 없습니다.

인간의 힘과 지혜로 천국에 갈 생각은 하지 마십시오. 오직 주님의 말씀만을 의지하여 천국에 갈 수 있다고 생각하십시오. 주님의 말씀은 모든 탐욕과 우상을 버리고 오직 그분의 말씀에 순종하며 죄를 지을 때마다 회개하라는 것입니다.

누가복음 14:33-35

그러므로 너희 중에 누구든지 자기의 모든 소유를 버리지 아니하면 내 제자가 될 수 없느니라. 소금은 좋은 것이나 그 맛을 잃으면 무엇으로 짜게 하리요 땅에도 거름에도 쓸 데 없어 버리는 것이라. 귀 있는 자는 들으라."

하나님의 말씀보다 자신의 소유물을 더 소중히 여긴다면 결코 예수님의 제자가 될 수 없습니다. 세상적인 것들을 주님보다 더 사랑하는 그리스도인들은 맛을 잃은 소금과 같습니다. 겉모습은 소금 같지만, 이미 맛을 잃어 더 이상 거름으로 쓸 수 없습니다. 그래서 길거리에 버려져 지나가는 사람들에게 밟힙니다. 하나님보다 자신의 소유물을 더 사랑하는 그리스도인들은 하나님께 버림받고 세상으로부터 멸시와 무시를 당합니다. 불순종하고 회개하지 않는 그리스도인들은 세상에 쓸모없는 존재입니다.

Those who wish to build a watchtower calculate the total cost of construction in advance. They calculate the cost of materials, labor, and other expenses, and only when they can afford all of these expenses with their own money do they begin construction.It would be foolish to start construction and then stop just after laying the foundation because they lack funds.

Passersby would laugh at their foolishness. Believing in Jesus, being saved, and entering heaven is like building a watchtower. All humans are fallen beings, incapable of self-righteousness or salvation. Therefore, all must repent, wash away all sins with the blood of Jesus, and accept His righteousness as their own. When sinners do not repent of their sins and try to boast of their righteousness before the Lord, they will all face the Lord's judgment and perish because they do not rely on the righteousness of Jesus.

To enter heaven, one must first acknowledge and calculate that human thoughts and doctrines can never lead to heaven. Only those who resolve from the beginning to rely solely on and follow the words of Jesus can enter heaven. God's people must abandon the attitude of mixing human ideas with God's Word. Christians who rely on worldly things ultimately give up their faith in Jesus when faced with life's difficulties.

Luke 14:31-32

"Or suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. Will he not first sit down and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand?If he is not able, he will send a delegation while the other is still a long way off and will ask for terms of peace.

Believing in Jesus means fighting against Satan.Satan constantly plants worldly desires within us.We cannot overcome all of Satan's temptations with human strength alone.Recognizing this in advance and clinging firmly to Jesus is the key to victory in spiritual warfare.We must recognize our own inadequacies and rely solely on Jesus.If those who believe in Jesus rely on their own possessions or abilities instead of Jesus' words, they will not be able to overcome Satan's attacks.

Do not expect to reach heaven with human strength and wisdom. Think that you can go to heaven solely by relying on the Lord's word. The Lord's word is to abandon all greed and idols, obey only His word, and repent whenever you sin.

Luke 14:33-35

In the same way, any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple."Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is fit neither for the soil nor for the manure pile; it is thrown out. "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."

If you value your possessions more than the Word of God, you can never be a disciple of Jesus. Christians who love worldly things more than the Lord are like salt that has lost its flavor. It may look like salt, but it has lost its flavor and can no longer be used as fertilizer. Therefore, it is thrown out on the street and trampled underfoot by passersby. Christians who love their possessions more than God are abandoned by God and despised and ignored by the world. Disobedient and unrepentant Christians are useless to the world.
