트레일러 주택에 사는 형제 마크(브래드 렌프로)와 리키(데이비드 스펙)는 엄마 다이앤(매리-루이지 파커)이 출근한 후 숲에 들어갔다가 자살하려는 한 남자를 만난다. 마크가 그의 자살을 방해하자 술에 취한 그는 자신이 로미 클리포드라는 변호사인데 마피아가 죽인 상원의원의 시체가 있는 곳을 알게 되었으며 그 때문에 칼날 배리(안소니 라파그리아)란 자가 자신을 죽일 것이 두려워 자살한다고 말한다.
