온갖 비유의 말씀에 숨겨두고 성령으로 가르치는 복음의 진리를 올바로 알게 되면, “심령이 가난한 자는 복이 있나니 천국이 그들의 것임이요. 애통하는 자는 복이 있나니 그들이 위로를 받을 것임이요. 온유한 자는 복이 있나니 그들이 땅을 기업으로 받을 것임이요. 의에 주리고 목마른 자는 복이 있나니 그들이 배부를 것임이요. 긍휼히 여기는 자는 복이 있나니 그들이 긍휼히 여김을 받을 것임이요. 마음이 청결한 자는 복이 있나니 그들이 하나님을 볼 것임이요. 화평하게 하는 자는 복이 있나니 그들이 하나님의 아들이라 일컬음을 받을 것임이요. 의를 위하여 박해를 받은 자는 복이 있나니 천국이 그들의 것임이라(5:3-10)” 하였듯, 하나님의 나라와 의가 자신에게 없음을 정확하게 아는 가난한 심령이 되어 애통하며 간구하여 맡기므로 성령의 위로를 받아 죄인들을 포용하고 긍휼을 베풀며 화평을 이루는 온유한 심령이 되어 진정한 그리스도인으로 인정을 받는 반면에 그로 말미암아 비방이나 조롱이나 핍박을 받아도 기뻐하며 찬양하게 됩니다.

When you come to know the truth of the gospel that the Holy Spirit teaches only to those who deeply asks and seeks it, hiding it in all kinds of parables, and with a poor spirit that knows that the kingdom of God and righteousness are not within you, you will mourn, pray, and entrust yourself to God and receive the comfort of the Holy Spirit, become a gentle spirit that embraces sinners, shows mercy, and makes peace, and you will be recognized as a truly upright Christian. On the other hand, although you will receive slander, ridicule, and persecution, you will instead rejoice, be thankful, and praise, as “Blessed are the pure in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (5:3-10)”

왜냐하면, “나로 말미암아 너희를 욕하고 박해하고 거짓으로 너희를 거슬러 모든 악한 말을 할 때에는 너희에게 복이 있나니, 기뻐하고 즐거워하라 하늘에서 너희의 상이 큼이라 너희 전에 있던 선지자들도 이같이 박해하였느니라. 너희는 세상의 소금이니 소금이 만일 그 맛을 잃으면 무엇으로 짜게 하리요 후에는 아무 쓸 데 없어 다만 밖에 버려져 사람에게 밟힐 뿐이니라. 너희는 세상의 빛이라 산 위에 있는 동네가 숨겨지지 못할 것이요. 사람이 등불을 켜서 말 아래에 두지 아니하고 등경 위에 두나니 이러므로 집 안 모든 사람에게 비치느니라(5:11-15)” 하였듯, 창조주 하나님의 섭리와 예수 그리스도 구원의 진리를 올바로 알고 경외하는 마음에 성령으로 공급하시는 하나님의 사랑이 삶으로 나타나며 세상의 빛과 소금이 되는 헌신으로 나타나야 진정 올바른 믿음이기 때문입니다.

Because, when we correctly know and revere the truth of God’s providence of creation and Christ’s salvation, God’s love that is supplied in our lives, and we become the light and salt of the world, that is the true faith, as “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to the thrown out and trampled by men. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. (5:11-15)”

그래서 “이같이 너희 빛이 사람 앞에 비치게 하여 그들로 너희 착한 행실을 보고 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하라. 내가 율법이나 선지자를 폐하러 온 줄로 생각하지 말라 폐하러 온 것이 아니요 완전하게 하려 함이라. 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 천지가 없어지기 전에는 율법의 일점 일획도 결코 없어지지 아니하고 다 이루리라. 이 계명 중의 지극히 작은 것 하나라도 버리고 또 그같이 사람을 가르치는 자는 천국에서 지극히 작다 일컬음을 받을 것이요 누구든지 이를 행하며 가르치는 자는 천국에서 크다 일컬음을 받으리라(5:16-19)” 가르치는데, 율법이나 언약이나 경고의 말씀 속에 흐르는 하나님의 진실한 사랑을 따라 신뢰하고 경외하며 순종하는 사랑의 삶으로 진정한 그리스도인으로 인정을 받으며 믿지 않는 사람들이 하나님을 찬양하고 경배하는 믿음으로 나오게 해야 올바른 믿음입니다.

Therefore, it is the right faith to be recognized as a true Christian by those who do not believe by trusting in, fearing, following, and obeying the true love of God hidden in the law, covenant, and warnings, and to lead them to the path of faith that praises and worships God, as “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good, I have not come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come com to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (5:16-19)”

그러므로 “내가 너희에게 이르노니 너희 의가 서기관과 바리새인보다 더 낫지 못하면 결코 천국에 들어가지 못하리라. 옛 사람에게 말한 바 살인하지 말라 누구든지 살인하면 심판을 받게 되리라 하였다는 것을 너희가 들었으나, 나는 너희에게 이르노니 형제에게 노하는 자마다 심판을 받게 되고 형제를 대하여 라가라 하는 자는 공회에 잡혀가게 되고 미련한 놈이라 하는 자는 지옥 불에 들어가게 되리라(5:20-22)” 하셨듯, 바리새인 서기관처럼 말씀에 겉으로 나타나는 의미에 얽매인 지식적인 그릇된 믿음에 빠지지 말고, 창조주 하나님을 버리고 세상과 육신의 삶을 사랑하는 죄악에 빠진 인간들이 안타까워 끊임없이 말씀과 영으로 일깨우며 회개하고 돌이키기를 바라며 오래 참고 기다리시는 하나님의 참 사랑을 따라 사는 삶이 돼야 합니다.

Therefore, we must not fall into the false belief of being entangled in the outward meaning of the word like the scribes and Pharisees, but we must live a life following the true love of God who waits patiently for people who have abandoned God and fallen into sin, loving the world and the flesh, and who are contantly awakened by the word and the spirit, hoping that they will repent, as “For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the Law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject judgement. But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgement. Again, anyone who says to his brother, ‘Raca, is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, ‘You fool. Will be in danger of the fire of hell (5:20-22)”

그래서 “예물을 제단에 드리려다가 거기서 네 형제에게 원망들을 만한 일이 있는 것이 생각나거든, 예물을 제단 앞에 두고 먼저 가서 형제와 화목하고 그 후에 와서 예물을 드리라. 너를 고발하는 자와 함께 길에 있을 때에 급히 사화하라 그 고발하는 자가 너를 재판관에게 내어 주고 재판관이 옥리에게 내어 주어 옥에 가둘까 염려하라. 진실로 네게 이르노니 네가 한 푼이라도 남김이 없이 다 갚기 전에는 결코 거기서 나오지 못하리라(5:23-26)” 권고하며, “간음하지 말라 하였다는 것을 너희가 들었으나, 나는 너희에게 이르노니 음욕을 품고 여자를 보는 자마다 마음에 이미 간음하였느니라. 만일 네 오른 눈이 너로 실족하게 하거든 빼어 내버리라 네 백체 중 하나가 없어지고 온 몸이 지옥에 던져지지 않는 것이 유익하며, 만일 네 오른손이 너로 실족하게 하거든 찍어 내버리라 네 백체 중 하나가 없어지고 온 몸이 지옥에 던져지지 않는 것이 유익하니라(5:27-30)” 가르칩니다.

So, today, through the words of the Bible, He advices us, as “If you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, Leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift. Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still with him on the way, or he may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison. I tell you the truth, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny. (5:23-26)” And teaches us, as “you have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery. But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose body to go into hell. (5:27-30)”

그러므로 “눈은 눈으로, 이는 이로 갚으라 하였다는 것을 너희가 들었으나, 나는 너희에게 이르노니 악한 자를 대적하지 말라 누구든지 네 오른편 뺨을 치거든 왼편도 돌려 대며, 너를 고발하여 속옷을 가지고자 하는 자에게 겉옷까지도 가지게 하며, 누구든지 너로 억지로 오 리를 가게 하거든 그 사람과 십 리를 동행하고, 네게 구하는 자에게 주며 네게 꾸고자 하는 자에게 거절하지 말라(5:38-42)” 하셨듯, 말씀에 겉으로 나타나는 의미에 얽매이지 말고, 분하고 억울하게 느껴질지라도 하나님의 사랑과 은혜를 생각하며 양보하고 포용하는 사랑의 사람이 돼야 올바른 믿음이기 때문에, “네 이웃을 사랑하고 네 원수를 미워하라 하였다는 것을 너희가 들었으나, 나는 너희에게 이르노니 너희 원수를 사랑하며 너희를 박해하는 자를 위하여 기도하라. 이같이 한즉 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지의 아들이 되리니 이는 하나님이 그 해를 악인과 선인에게 비추시며 비를 의로운 자와 불의한 자에게 내려주심이라(5:43-45)” 가르치십니다.

Because, we must not be bound by the outward meaning of the word, but must become loving people who compromise and embrace, thinking of God’s great grace and love, even when we feel angry and wronged, as “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth. But I tell you, ‘Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If, someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and you do not turn away from the one who want5s to borrow from you. (5:38-42)” So, God teaches us today, as “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I tell you. Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. (5:43-45)”

그러므로 “너희가 너희를 사랑하는 자를 사랑하면 무슨 상이 있으리요 세리도 이같이 아니하느냐, 너희가 너희 형제에게만 문안하면 남보다 더하는 것이 무엇이냐 이방인들도 이같이 아니하느냐, 그러므로 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지의 온전하심과 같이 너희도 온전하라(5:46-48)” 하셨듯, 세상 사람들과 똑 같은 사랑의 삶에 만족하는 부족하고 미완성의 믿음에 머물지 말고, 세상이나 인간적인 기준을 뛰어넘는 하나님의 사랑을 따라 세상의 빛과 소금이 되는 진실한 그리스도인이 돼야만 하나님의 인정을 받고 그리스도의 대속과 구원을 얻게 됩니다. 그처럼 올바른 믿음으로 임마누엘 하나님의 은혜와 사랑과 능력과 복을 받는 복음의 증인들이 되시고 대속과 구원을 얻어 부활하고 영생하는 하나님의 자녀들이 되기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 기도하며 축복합니다. 아멘.

Therefore, do not remain in an insufficient and incomplete faith that is satisfied with living the same life as the people of the world, but become a true Christian who lives according to God’s love that transcends the standards of the world  and humans and becomes the light and salt of the world, and only then will you be recognized by God and received redemption and salvation, as “If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even the pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. (5:46-48)” In the name of Jesus Christ, I fervently pray and bless you to become faithful witnesses of the gospel who receive the abundant grace, love power, and blessings of God Emmanuel with such righteous faith, and to become children of God who receive redemption and salvation, resurrected and live forever.
