한 촌에 들어가시니 문둥병자 열 명이 예수를 만나 멀리 서서 소리를 높여 가로되 예수 선생님이여 우리를 긍휼히 여기소서 하거늘 보시고 가라사대 가서 제사장들에게 너희 몸을 보이라 하셨더니 저희가 가다가 깨끗함을 받은지라 그 중에 하나가 자기의 나은 것을 보고 큰 소리로 하나님께 영광을 돌리며 돌아와 예수의 발아래 엎드리어 사례하니 저는 사마리아인이라 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 열 사람이 다 깨끗함을 받지 아니하였느냐 그 아홉은 어디 있느냐 이 이방인 외에는 하나님께 영광을 돌리러 돌아온 자가 없느냐 하시고 그에게 이르시되 일어나 가라 네 믿음이 너를 구원하였느니라 하시더라

Luke 17:12-19

As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosymet him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, "Jesus, Master, have pity on us!" When he saw them, he said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were cleansed. One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him--and he was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, "Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" Then he said to him, "Rise and go; your faith has made you well.“

예수님이 지나가실 때 문둥병자 10명이 소리 높혀 주님께 외쳤습니다. ”선생님, 우리를 긍휼이 여기시고 우리를 치료해 주옵소서“주님께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다, ”너희의 몸을 제사장들에게 가서 보여라“ 그들이 예수님의 말씀을 따라 제사장에게로 가는 도중에 그들의 문둥병이 치유되었다. 전능자의 능력이 그들에 나타난 것이다.그들은 즉시 치유받은 것 아니다, 주님의 말씀을 따라 제사장에게로 가기 시작했을 때 길 가는 도중에 치유가 일어난 것이다.

만약 그들이 즉시 치유받지 못한 것을 생각하여 실망하고 제사장께로 향하지 않았더라면 그들의 몸은 영원히 치유되지 않는 것이다. 이는 주님의 말씀에 순종할 때 주님의 능력이 인간들의 문제를 해결하고 기적이 일어난다는 것을 설명하는 것입니다.그러나 우리가 깨달아야 할 것은 주님의 능력으로 불치병을 치유 받거나 많은 기적을 체험한다고 해서 그것 자체가 우리의 영혼 구원이 완성되는 것이 아니라는 것이다.

문둥병 환자 10명이 치유받았다, 그러나 그들 중에 한 명이 주님께 돌아와 감사와 영광을 돌리고, 나머지 아홉은 치유받은 것에만 잠시 기뻐하고, 예수님께 감사와 영광을 돌리지 않았던 것이다. 주님의 기적을 체험한 자는 모든 영광을 주님께 돌리며 그의 모든 삶이 주님의 말씀에 순종하는 삶으로 돌아와햐 하는 것이다.모든 삶을 주님께로 돌이킬 때 우리의 영혼이 구원을 받는 것이다.주님께 돌아와 감사를 드린 한 명만이 올바른 신앙생활을 시작한 것이다, 이는 그가 천국 길로 가기 시작한 것을 의미한다.

그가 끝날까지 그 믿음을 지켯을 때 그가 천국에 들어간다. 육체를 지유 받거나 어떤 기적을 체험했을 때 그것 자체가 영혼 구원하는 것이 결코 아니다. 영혼 구원을 받기 위한 신앙생활을 시작한 것이다.그들 중에서 한 명만이 신앙생활을 정상적으로 시작한 것이다. 그러나 나머지 9명은 신앙생활도 시작하지 않았고, 단지 치유만 받고 주님을 떠나버린 것이다.예수님께 다시 돌아온 그 한 명에게 ”네 믿음이 너를 구원하였도다“ 라고 주님이 말씀하신 것이다.

영혼 구원은 죽을 때까지 주님의 말씀을 따라 사는 것이다. 주님의 말씀을 따라 산다는 것은 우상을 버리고, 이웃의 허물을 용서해주고, 욕심과 악한 삶을 버리고 선한 삶을 추구하며 사는 것이다. 그러나 아무도 주님의 말씀대로 온전히 살지 못하다. 그래서 모든 하나님의 백성은 매일 회개하며 주님의 용서를 받으며 살아야 되는 것이다. 이것이 예수님의 복음을 믿고 천국 길을 가는 것이다.

그러나 지금 많은 교회들이 기적과 표적만 추구하고 있다, 주님의 말씀에 순종하지 않고 죄를 회개하지도 않는다. 이러한 교회들은 문둥병만 치유받고 주님을 떠나버린 그 9명과 같은 것이다.하나님의 백성이 기적을 체험하든지 안 하든지 그것은 중요한 것 아니다, 주님의 말씀에 순종하고, 죄를 회개하는 것이 중요한 것이다.예수 믿는 가장 큰 목적은 세상에서 건강하고 잘 사는 것 아니다, 세상을 떠날 때 지옥에 가지 않고 천국에 들어가는 것이 때문이다.

As Jesus passed by, ten lepers cried out to Him in a loud voice, “Master, have mercy on us and heal us!” The Lord said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” As they followed Jesus’ instructions and went to the priests, their leprosy was healed. The power of the Almighty was manifested in them.They were not healed immediately. Their healing occurred on the way, as they began to follow the Lord’s instructions.

If they had been disappointed by their lack of immediate healing and had not turned to the priests, their bodies would never have been healed.This illustrates that when we obey the Lord’s words, His power solves human problems and miracles occur.However, we must understand that being healed of an incurable disease or experiencing many miracles through His power does not in itself complete the salvation of our souls.

Ten lepers were healed, but one of them returned to the Lord and gave thanks and glory, while the other nine only briefly rejoiced in their healing and did not give thanks or glory to Jesus. Those who have experienced the Lord's miracles must give all glory to Him and return their entire lives to obedience to His words.When we turn our entire lives to the Lord, our souls are saved.

Only one person who returned to the Lord and gave thanks began a proper life of faith. This means he began the path to heaven. When he maintains that faith until the end, he will enter heaven. Receiving physical healing or experiencing a miracle does not in itself save the soul. It is the beginning of a life of faith for the salvation of the soul.

Only one of them began a proper life of faith. However, the other nine did not even begin a life of faith; they simply received healing and then turned away from the Lord. To the one who returned to Jesus, the Lord said, "Your faith has saved you." Salvation of the soul is living according to the Lord's word until death.

Living according to the Lord's word means abandoning idols, forgiving the faults of our neighbors, abandoning greed and evil, and pursuing a life of goodness. However, no one can live perfectly according to the Lord's word. Therefore, all of God's people must repent daily and live with the Lord's forgiveness. This is believing in the gospel of Jesus and walking the path to heaven.

However, many churches today only pursue miracles and signs, failing to obey the Lord's word and repenting of their sins. These churches are like the nine men who were healed of leprosy but turned away from the Lord. Whether God's people experience miracles or not is not important. What is important is obeying the Lord's word and repenting of their sins.

The greatest purpose of believing in Jesus is not to live a healthy and prosperous life on earth, but to enter heaven rather than hell when they leave this world.
