Kia ora Chris, Hazel and everyone else!

 

I wanted to send through another heartfelt thanks for your performance on Sunday, it was such a beautiful programme – opera, waiata Māori, the drummer – truly fantastic. And I also wanted to say thanks for the flowers, which are looking amazing in my dining room!

 

I’d love to receive any feedback that you or your choir members have to send through. I understand there were some issues with the parking system on departure from the Museum. This is a very new parking system for us, and we will be changing how we communicate how to use promocodes/access free parking as a result of the issues on Sunday. I hope it wasn’t too stressful for anyone.

 

I hope we can stay in touch, we’d love to host the Auckland Korean Choir again at some point in the future.

지난 일요일 공연에 다시 한번 진심으로 감사의 마음을 전하고 싶습니다. 정말 아름다운 프로그램이었습니다. 오페라, 마오리 와이아타, 한국 전통 북까지 - 정말 환상적이었어요. 그리고 보내주신 꽃도 감사합니다. 제 식탁에 놓여 있는데 정말 멋지게 피어 있습니다!

혹시 여러분이나 합창단 멤버들이 보내주실 피드백이 있다면 꼭 받고 싶습니다. 이해하기로는 일요일에 박물관에서 출차 시 주차 시스템에 약간의 문제가 있었던 것으로 알고 있습니다. 이 주차 시스템은 저희에게도 아주 새롭기 때문에, 이번 일을 계기로 프로모션 코드 사용법 및 무료 주차 접근 방법에 대한 안내를 변경하려고 합니다. 혹시 불편함을 겪으셨다면 죄송합니다.

앞으로도 계속 연락을 이어가고 싶습니다. 오클랜드 한인 합창단을 다시 한번 모실 수 있기를 희망합니다.

Hi Helen,

On behalf of the Auckland Korean Choir, I want to say a very big thank you to you for organizing our performance.
It was a big privilege for us to be able to perform at the museum to share our music with others. It was very meaningful for us to have shared a part of Korean culture, and also to connect with other cultures through that shared experience in such a significant space.

It was especially meaningful to be able to distribute the music for the New Zealand Arirang to the audience. Thank you for providing the handouts for us and we are grateful for your team’s understanding and compromise in making that possible. We are also grateful for the opportunity to share a performance of the traditional korean drums and we appreciate your support in making that possible.

All of our choir members were very appreciative of your kindness, respectfulness, and professionalism.
Thank you for all the arrangements you made on the day, including the printouts, green room, kai room, piano, and extra microphones. I want to thank Jamie for her help also. 

I would also like to apologize regarding the flowers. It did not occur to me that the museum’s regulations would not allow them but we will ensure to follow these guidelines in the future.

I hope the visitors enjoyed our performance as much as we did. There have been many news articles about our performance within the Korean community and it has made us feel very proud and thankful for this opportunity. 

I also want to express our gratitude for the envelope. We wanted to let you know that we have planned to donate it to World Vision, a charity we regularly support with any contributions we receive or raise during concerts. We hope this donation, made possible by the kindness of you and the Auckland War Memorial Museum, will help make a real difference in someone’s life.

It was such an honor to have this opportunity to perform at such a meaningful venue. This was a significant milestone for our choir and we hope to have the privilege of returning next year for another performance.

오클랜드 한인 합창단을 대표하여, 이번 공연을 준비해 주신 Helen 님께 진심으로 감사의 말씀을 전하고 싶습니다.
저희에게 박물관에서 공연을 통해 음악을 나눌 수 있는 기회를 주신 것은 정말 큰 영광이었습니다. 한국 문화를 공유하고, 이를 통해 다른 문화와도 교류할 수 있었던 이 특별한 경험은 저희에게 매우 의미 있는 시간이었습니다.

특히, 뉴질랜드 아리랑 악보를 관객들에게 배포할 수 있었던 점은 저희에게 큰 감동이었습니다. 이를 가능하게 해 주신 핸드아웃 제공과 팀의 이해와 협조에 깊이 감사드립니다. 또한, 한국 전통 북 공연을 선보일 수 있었던 기회를 주신 점에도 감사드리며, 이를 위해 힘써 주신 Helen 님의 지원에 진심으로 감사드립니다.

저희 합창단 모든 멤버들이 Helen 님의 친절함, 존중, 그리고 전문성에 매우 감명받았습니다.
당일 프린트물 준비, 그린룸과 카이룸 제공, 피아노와 추가 마이크 배치 등 모든 준비와 배려에 감사드립니다. Jamie 님의 도움에도 특별히 감사의 마음을 전하고 싶습니다.

그리고 꽃과 관련하여 사과드립니다. 박물관 규정을 미처 고려하지 못한 점 죄송하며, 앞으로는 규정을 철저히 준수하도록 하겠습니다.

관객들이 저희 공연을 저희만큼이나 즐기셨기를 바랍니다. 저희 공연과 관련하여 한국 커뮤니티 내에서 많은 뉴스 기사가 나와, 이번 기회를 통해 큰 자부심과 감사함을 느낄 수 있었습니다.

또한, 감사의 마음으로 전달해 주신 봉투에 대해 말씀드리고 싶습니다. 저희는 그것을 월드비전에 기부하기로 결정하였습니다. 월드비전은 저희가 공연 중 모은 기금으로 정기적으로 지원하는 자선 단체로, 이번 기부가 Helen 님과 오클랜드 전쟁기념박물관의 따뜻한 마음으로 누군가의 삶에 진정한 변화를 가져다주길 바랍니다.
