First, the
thematic idea of the first poem is that the “I” feel bitter when “I” realizes
that my young daughter is growing independent from me. Second, the metaphorical
meanings of 1 refers to mother’s concern that younger daughter would not get
hurt. The metaphorical meanings of 2 refers that mother think daughter seems to
as if a frail child. The metaphorical meanings of 3 indicates young daughter’s
physical growth and the meanings of 4 refers the daughter’s independent.
In
terms of the literal meaning, a son can go to the school independently now
compared to the two weeks ago when the son is dependent on “I” and his father.
In terms of the metaphorically meaning, the parent is sorrowful because they
feel that their son has been growing faster within two weeks.

As society
requires an independent learner who has creativity and originality nowadays,
many school try to adopt supervised night self-study. Many students believe
that the program can contribute to motivate study environment for them. However,
they are also aware of considerable negative effects of the obligatory program.
Student can feel as if their right of autonomy is violated. As a teacher of school B, we should place more
weight on the negative aspects.
In aspect of
strong point, it enables students to motivate study environment. The atmosphere
in which students can study with their friends in the classroom enhances
motivation to improve particular subjects or behave in particular ways. To
implement this program effectively, teacher can do many things to create a
classroom environment that motivates students to learn and behave in ways that
promote their long-term success.
In aspect of
weak point, it has limitation of students’ rights to autonomous learning. The
supervised night self-study takes away the opportunity to learn time
management. Because students follow the arranged time, they do not have a
chance to learn how to manage their study time efficiently. Also, there are
some different studying styles among students; some student pursues environment
which can study alone while others pursue environment which can study with
their friends. In relation to the former style of students, students'
self-study under forced circumstance of teacher rather reduce their autonomy.
In conclusion, although
Supervised night self-study offers atmosphere which students can motivate it
hinders students from developing self-motivated learning and being an autonomy
leaner. Therefore, teacher should not force our students to stay at the school
after their regular classes are finished.

근데 저는 two points가 야자에 대한 부정적 입장/긍정적 입장 한가지 씩이 아니라 입장을 정해서 부정ㅇ적 입장이면 부정적인 점들중 두가지를 고르는 거라고 이해를 했ㅅ어용 ㅠㅠ
