15 1-2 
[Those of us //who are strong and able in the faith] need [to step in and lend a hand to those //who falter],

and not just do [what is most convenient for us].

Strength is for service, not status.

Each one of us needs to look after the good of the people around us, asking ourselves, “How can I help?”

Strength 힘은 is for service 봉사를 위한 것이지, not status. 지위는 아니다

Each one of us 우리 각자는 needs 필요하다 to look after 보살피기를  the good 안녕을

of the people around us 우리 주변 사람들의, asking ourselves 자신에게 물어보면서,

“How can I help?” 어떻게 도울까?

3-6 
That’s exactly [what Jesus did]. He didn’t make it easy for himself by avoiding people’s troubles, 

but waded right in and helped out. 

“I took on the troubles of the troubled,” is the way () Scripture puts it.

 He didn’t make 만들지 않았다 it 그걸 easy 쉽게 for himself 그분 자신을 위해서

by avoiding 피함으로 people’s troubles, 사람들의 어려움을

but waded right in 헤치고 들어 가셔서 and helped out. 도우셨다

“I took on 떠맡으셨다 the troubles 어려움을 of the troubled,” 어려움에 빠진 사람들의 (라는 말씀이)

is the way 그 방식이다 (that) 어떤 방법이냐면  Scripture 성경이 puts it. 그것을 말씀한/기록한

Even if it was written in Scripture long ago, you can be sure () it’s written for us.

God wants the combination of his steady, constant calling and warm, personal counsel in Scripture

to come to characterize us, keeping us alert for whatever he will do next.

you can be sure 확신할 수 있다 (that)절 내용을 즉 it’s written 쓰여진 것이라고 for us. 우리를 위해서

God wants 원하신다 the combination 조합을 of his steady, 확고하고 constant calling 지속적인 부르심과

and warm, 온화하시고 personal  인격적인 counsel 충고의 in Scripture 성경에서

to come to characterize us 우리의 특성 형성을 하시고자, keeping us alert 우리를 민감한 상태로 유지하시며

for whatever 무엇이든지에 관해  he 그분께서 will do 하실 next 다음에.

May [our dependably steady and warmly personal God] develop maturity /in you

/so that you get along with each other /as well as Jesus gets along with us all.

Then we’ll be a choir—not our voices only, but our very lives

/singing in harmony in a stunning anthem  to the God and Father of our Master Jesus!

7-13 
So reach out and welcome one another /to God’s glory. 

Jesus did it; now you do it!

 Jesus, staying true to God’s purposes, reached out /in a special way /to the Jewish insiders 

/so that the old ancestral promises would come true for them.

As a result, the non-Jewish outsiders have been able to experience mercy and to show appreciation to God. 

Just think of all the Scriptures //that will come true /in what we do!

I’ll sing /to your name!

And Isaiah’s word:
There’s the root of our ancestor Jesse,
    breaking through the earth and growing tree tall,
Tall enough for everyone everywhere /to see and take hope!

Oh! May the God of green hope fill you up with joy, fill you up with peace, 

so that your believing lives, filled with the life-giving energy of the Holy Spirit, will brim over with hope!

(고전 2:11) 성구에 의거하면 성신 하나님을 의뢰하여 성경을 이해해야 타당하다 사료되므로

인간이 해석한 글을 읽으면서 성령님께 바른 이해를 구하면 어떤 경로를 통해서든지 알려 주실 것을 확신함

Message는 Paraphrased 즉 비슷한 의미의 다른 표현의 번역이기에 원문에 없는 말도 더할 수 있는 건

우리가 영어를 한글로 번역시에도 일어나는 번역상의 문제이므로 어떤 번역이 정확한가를 따지기보다는

각각의 번역을 비교하여 원문에서 전하고자 하는 right spirit 바른 영을 받는 것이 중요하다고 믿음

You seem to me to be well-motivated and well-instructed, quite capable of guiding and advising one another.

this priestly and gospel work of serving the spiritual needs of the non-Jewish outsiders

/so they can be presented as an acceptable offering to God, made whole and holy by God’s Holy Spirit.

Looking back over what has been accomplished and what I have observed,

Those //who were never told of him—they’ll see him!
Those who’ve never heard of him—they’ll get the message!

And that’s why it has taken me so long to finally get around to coming to you. 

But now that there is no more pioneering work /to be done in these parts, 

and since I have looked forward to seeing you for many years, 

I’m planning my visit.
