<Daniel> 12:2 - 땅의 티끌 가운데서 자는 자 중에 많이 깨어 영생을 얻는 자도 있겠고 수욕을 받아서 무궁히 부끄러움을 입을 자도 있을 것이며(Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.(NIV); And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.(KJV); Many of those whose bodies lie dead and buried will rise up, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting disgrace.(NLT)
○ There are two types of resurrection. One is 'Resurrection for (or of, or to) Eternal Life', which is ‘the 1st Resurrection' (Revelation 20:4~6), and the other is 'Resurrection for (or of, or to) Judgment' (Revelation 20:11-15), which is called ‘the Second Resurrection’.
○ The first resurrected are those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for (or of) Jesus and the word of God the Father, that is, those who were martyred (Revelation 20:4). Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection, and the second death has no power over them (Revelation 20:6).
○ Those who participate in this first resurrection will become priests of God the Father and Jesus Christ, and will reign with Him for a thousand years in 'The Thousand Years' (c.AD 11,800~12,800) (Revelation 20:4~6).
○ “Some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt” in <Daniel> 12:2 means ‘the second resurrection‘ as ‘the resurrection for (or of, or to) judgment’ (Revelation 20:11~15). ‘The resurrection for judgment’ may begin in c.AD 12,800~ right after ‘The Thousand Years’. All souls who did not participate in the first resurrection, whether the good or the evil, will participate in this 'resurrection for judgment’.
○ There are two books necessary for 'Resurrection for Judgment'. One is ‘his own book’. Everything he does in this world is written in his 'book'. Therefore, he will be judged according to what he had done as written in his book. The other is the ‘Book of Life’ that Jesus has. According to the records of these two books, some will receive eternal life and others will be thrown into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:11~15).
○ Later, in the Part 2, <Revelation>, I will discuss more in detail: how to be resurrected, how to be judged, what is ‘his own book’, what is ‘the Book of Life’ that Jesus has, and how the dead will be judged according to what he had done as recorded in the books, and how the fire will test each one's value of work, etc.
☞ All dead who did not participate in the first resurrection will participate in the 'resurrection for judgment’ (c.AD 12,800~) (Revelation 20:11~15). At this time, according to ‘his own book’ and the ‘book of life’ that Jesus has, some will receive eternal life, while others will be thrown into the lake of fire. The most important is that "whose name was not found written in the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death” (Revelation 20:14~15).
