I learned from DK that the word “trinity” is not in the bible. I also learned that this trinity refers to omnipresence. It represents how Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God (who we often call the Trinity) can all be present here in California while it is in someone else’s home. This trinity has a powerful effect because of its possibility of omnipresence. All three can work simultaneously, even miles apart.
When I first heard it, “yes, I already knew that and it is not surprising to me.” But, I thought about the omnipresence in my life…I began to think differently about what it really means. Is he in every aspect of my life? I can profess that he is present here and in someone else’s heart. However, can I profess that trinity is present – omnipresent in all parts of my life? So, I write this to the trinity:
You are my husband.
You are my father.
You are my child.
You are my brother.
You are my boss.
You are my servant.
You are my friend.
You are my teacher.
You are my counselor.
You are my laughter.
You are my smile.
You are my tears.
You are my heart.
You are my body.
You are my work.
You are me.
You are my not my trinity, but infinity.
You are omnipresent in my life.
Amen.
