Suffering is the Love of God for Leads to repent & Salvation

성경말씀: 하박국 1~3장

Scripture Reading: Habakkuk 1~3

선지자 하박국이 “여호와여 내가 도움을 부르짖어도 듣지 않고 강포를 외쳐도 언제까지 구원하지 아니하시나이까, 어찌하여 불의를 묵인하시고 갈등과 다툼과 파괴와 폭력이 넘치는 부당함을 내가 보게 하시나이까, 악한 자들이 의인들을 둘러싸고 정의를 왜곡시키므로 율법이 무력해지고 정의가 승리하지 못하나이다(1:2-4)” 하였듯, 창조와 구원의 절대권자 하나님을 알고 경배하는 사람들조차 “하나님과 같이 되려는(창3:5)” 육신의 원죄와 저주로 말미암아 하나님의 율법을 무시하고 짓밟으며 욕심에 따라 갈등과 다툼과 폭력과 파괴를 일으키며 정의를 왜곡시키는 것이 인간들입니다.

Even those who know and worship the Supreme God of Creation and salvation ignore and trample on God’s laws, commit conflict, strife, violence, and destruction, and distort justice due to the original sin and curse of the flesh, that is, the desire to “will be like God (Genesis3:5)” a prophet Habakkuk said, as “How long, O Lord, must I call for help, but you do not listen? Or cry out to you, ‘Violence. But you do not save? Why do you make me look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrong? Destruction and violence are before me, there is strife, and conflict abounds. Therefore, the law is paralyzed, and justice never prevails. The wicked hem in the righteous, so that justice is perverted (1:2-4)”

그래서 “여호와가 말하노라 너희 생전에 내가 여러 나라에 한 가지 일을 시행하리니 너희가 보고 놀라고 들어도 믿지 못하리라. 내가 성급하고 무자비한 바벨론 사람들을 일으켜 온 세상을 침략하고 짓밟으며 정복하게 하리라. 자신들의 법으로 명예를 증진시키는 무섭고 두려운 사람들이라. 그들의 말은 표범보다 빠르고 저녁 이리보다 사나우며 기마병들은 먹이를 덮치는 독수리처럼 머리를 숙이고 멀리서 빨리 달려오며, 그들은 다 폭력에 집착하며 모래를 휩쓸어 가는 광야의 바람처럼 많은 사람들을 사로잡아 가리라. 그들은 왕들이나 방백들이나 모든 견고한 요새들을 비웃고 멸시하며 흙을 쌓아 성벽을 넘어 정복하느니라(1:5-10)” 하셨듯, 무자비한 나라와 민족을 들어 징계와 심판의 도구로 사용하십니다.

So, many people and nations receive God’s discipline and judgement by using merciless nations and peoples, as “Look at the nations and watch-and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told. I am raising up the Babylonians, that ruthless and impetuous people, who sweep across the whole earth to seize dwelling places not their own. They are a feared and dreaded people, they are a law to themselves and promote their own honor. Their horses are swifter than leopards, fiercer than wolves at dusk. Their cavalry gallops headlong, their horsemen come from afar. They fly like a vulture swooping to devour; they all come bent on violence. Their hordes advance like a desert wind and gather prisoners like sand. They deride kings and scoff at rulers. They laugh at all fortified cities; they build earthen ramps and capture them (1:5-10)”

그런 하나님의 뜻을 올바로 알고 따라 지키며 순종하면, “여호와여 영원부터 나의 하나님 나의 거룩하신 이시옵니다 우리의 반석이신 여호와여 주의 심판자로 그들을 임명하셨으나 그들을 벌하기로 정하셨으므로 우리가 죽지 아니하리이다(1:12)” 하였듯, 어떤 상황에서도 구원을 얻는다 믿고 확신하게 되지만, “너무나 정결하셔서 악을 보지 못하시며 잘못을 묵인하지 못하시는 주께서 어찌하여 배신자들을 묵인하시고 의로운 사람들을 죽이는 악인들에게 잠잠하시옵니까, 주께서 어찌하여 사람들을 지도자가 없는 바다의 물고기와 생물들 같게 하시나이까, 악한 적들이 낚시로 낚아 올리고 그물로 끌어모아 사로잡으며 기뻐하고 즐거워하나이다. 그물로 말미암아 호화롭게 살며 좋은 음식을 즐기므로 그물에 경배하고 분향하나이다. 그들이 계속해서 그물을 비우며 무자비하게 나라들을 멸망시키리이까(1:13-17)” 하였듯, 악인들이 번영하게 버려 두고 즉시 심판하지 않는 하나님께 불평하는 육신의 생각에 속는 것이 어리석은 인생입니다.

However, if anyone who had correctly understand God’s will and follows and obeys it, he will grow in faith and be assured of salvation in any situation through the grace of the Holy Spirit, as “O Lord, are you not from everlasting? My God, my Holy One, we will not die. O Lord, you have appointed them to execute judgement, O Rock, you have ordained them to punish (1:12)” Nevertheless, it is human folly to complain against God, who does not immediately judge the wicked but allows them to prosper, as “Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrong. Why then do you tolerate the treacherous? Why are you silent while the wicked swallow up those more righteous than themselves? You have made men like fish in the sea, like sea creatures that have no ruler. The wicked foe pulls all of them up with hooks, he catches them in his net, he gathers them up in his dragnet; and so, he rejoices and is glad. Therefore, he sacrifices to his net and burns incense to his dragnet, for by his net he lives in luxury and enjoys the choicest food. Is he to keep on emptying his net, destroying nations without mercy (1:13-17)”

그래서 “여호와께서 나의 불평에 무엇이라 대답하시고 나의 질문에 어떻게 말씀하실까 보리라 하고 내가 파수하는 성루에 올라가 기다렸더니(2:1)” 하는 선지자 하박국에게 여호와 하나님께서 “이 묵시를 달려가면서도 읽을 수 있게 판에 기록하고 명백하게 새기라. 이 계시는 정해진 때 종말을 기다리는 말이며 거짓으로 판명되지 아니하리니 늦어지는 것 같아도 참고 기다리라 지체되지 않고 반드시 이루리라. 보라 우쭐대는 자들의 바램은 올바르지 못하나 의인은 그의 믿음으로 살리라(2:2-4)” 하셨듯, 하실 일을 보여주고 가르치며 사용하고 이루시는데, 아무리 악한 나라와 민족이라도 깨닫고 회개하여 다시 살기를 바라며 오래 참고 기다리시는 하나님의 사랑 때문입니다.

So, the prophet Habakkuk was complaining to God and waiting for an answer from God, as “I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint (2:1)” At that time, God showed to him what He world do, and taught and guided him to be have faith in patiently obedience within hope of salvation, as “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the for the revelation awaits and appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. See, he is puffed up; his desires are not upright-but the righteous will live by his faith (2:2-4)” It is because of God’s love that he patiently waits for even the most wicked nations or people to realized his sins and repent to God and live again.

그렇지만, “네가 많은 나라를 탈취하고 많은 사람들의 피를 흘리며 땅과 성읍들을 파멸시켰으므로 그들 가운데 남은 자들이 너를 약탈하리라. 파멸의 손아귀에서 피하려고 부당한 소득으로 왕국을 세우고 높은 곳에 둥지를 트는 자에게 화가 있으리라. 네가 많은 민족을 멸하려고 획책한 것이 네 생명을 상실하고 네 집을 욕되게 하였느니라. 불의와 살인으로 얻은 재물로 성읍을 건설하는 자는 화를 당하리라. 사람의 노력은 불쏘시개가 되고 나라들이 헛되이 지치도록 전능하신 여호와께서 결정하셨음이라. 물이 바다를 덮음 같이 여호와의 영광을 아는 지식이 온 세상에 가득하리라(2:8-14)” 하셨듯, 깨닫지 못하고 회개하지 아니하면 반드시 심판하여 제거하시고, 하나님을 올바로 알고 경외하며 순종할 사람들만 올바른 믿음과 구원으로 인도하십니다.

however, if anyone who does not realize his sins and nor repent, He will surely judge and eliminate him, and only those who correctly know, fear and obey God, He will be led to right faith of salvation, as “Because you have plundered many nations, the peoples who are left will plunder you. For you have shed man’s blood; you have destroyed lands and cities and everyone in them. Woe to him who builds his realm by unjust gain to set his nest on high, to escape the clutches of ruin. You have plotted the ruin of many peoples, shaming your own house and forfeiting your life. The stones of the wall will cry out, and the beams of the woodwork will echo it. Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed and establishes a town by crime. Has not the Lord Almighty determined that the people’s labor is only fuel for the fire, that the nations exhaust themselves for nothing? For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea (2:8-14)”

그러므로 “사람이 조각하여 만든 우상이 무슨 가치가 있느냐 그 형상이 거짓말을 가르치느냐 자신이 만든 말하지 못하는 우상을 신뢰할 뿐이니라. 나무에게 살아나라 하거나 돌에게 깨어나라 하는 자에게 화가 있으리라 금과 은으로 입혔으나 생명이 없는 그것이 지침을 제공하겠느냐, 그러나 여호와는 그의 거룩한 성전에 계시니 온 세상은 그의 앞에서 잠잠할지니라(2:18-20)” 하였듯, 진리가 아닌 것을 진리로 착각하고 하나님이 아닌 우상을 만들고 섬기는 거짓된 믿음에 빠지지 않아야 됩니다.

Therefore, no one should fall into the wrong belief of making or serving idols that mistake what is not true for truth or that are not God for God, as “Of what value is an idol, since a man has carved it? Or an image that teaches lies? For he who makes it trusts in his own creation; he makes idols that cannot speak. Woe to him who says to wood, ‘Come to life. Or to lifeless stone, ‘Wake up. Can it give guidance? It is covered with gold and silver, there is no breath in it. But the Lord is in his holy temple, let all the earth be silent before him (2:18-20)”

그리고 “여호와여 내가 주께서 행하신 놀라운 일들을 듣고 경외하오니, 주 여호와여 우리의 죄악으로 진노하셨더라도 주의 긍휼을 잊지 마시고 예전처럼 우리를 다시 새롭게 하소서. 거룩하신 하나님이 에돔 바란 산에서 오시니 그의 찬란한 영광이 하늘을 덮었고 그의 찬송이 땅에 충만하며, 그의 손에서 일출처럼 찬란하고 놀라운 능력을 숨긴 광채가 나오며, 전염병이 그의 앞에서 나가고 열병이 그를 뒤따르며, 그가 멈추시면 땅이 흔들리고 그가 보시면 만국이 떨며 영원한 산과 언덕들이 무너지는 그의 권능은 영원하시니라(3:2-6)” 하였듯, 창조와 구원의 주 하나님 여호와 예수 그리스도의 은혜와 사랑에 소망을 두고 찬양하고 경배해야 합니다.

And we must place our hope, trust, praise and worship in the grace and love of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Creator and Savior, as “Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O Lord. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy. God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His glory covered the heavens and his praise filled the earth. His splendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand, where his power was hidden. Plague went before him; pestilence followed his steps. He stood, and shook the earth; he looked, and made the nations tremble. The ancient mountains crumbled and the age-old hills collapsed. His ways are eternal (3:2-6)”

또한 “주께서 권능을 펼치시고 지파들에게 명하셨으며 강들로 땅을 쪼개셨나이다. 주를 보고 산들이 떨며 휩쓸리는 급류에 깊은 바다가 포효하며 파도가 높이 일었나이다. 번개처럼 번쩍이며 날아가는 주의 화살과 창의 빛으로 해와 달이 멈추어 서고, 분노하신 주께서 땅을 거니시며 진노로 열국을 짓밟으시고, 주의 백성들과 기름 부으신 자들을 구원하러 오셔서 악인들의 지도자들을 쳐부수고 머리끝에서 발바닥까지 벗기셨나이다. 가련하게 숨어있던 이스라엘을 게걸스럽게 삼키고 흩어버리려고 회오리바람처럼 몰려오던 전사들을 그들의 무기로 멸하셨나이다(3:9-14)” 하였듯, 악인들은 반드시 심판하고 멸망시키시는 하나님의 공의를 인정하고 찬양해야 됩니다.

And we must trust in and praise God’s justice, which surely judges and destroys the wicked, as “You were commanding your weapons of power. You split open the earth with flowing rivers. The mountains saw you and writhed. Torrents of water swept by, the deep roared and lifted its waves on high. Sun and moon stood still in the heavens at the glint of your flying arrows, at the lightning of your flashing spear. In wrath you strode through the earth and in anger you threshed the nations. You came out to deliver your people, to save your anointed one. You crushed the leader of the land of wickedness, you stripped him from head to foot. With his own spear you pierced his head when his warriors stormed out to scatter us, gloating as though about to devour the wretched who were in hiding (3:9-14)”

그리고, “주께서 말을 타고 바다를 밟으시며 큰 바다를 휘저으셨으니, 내가 그 말을 듣고 두려움에 심장과 입술과 다리가 떨리고 뼈골이 녹았으나 우리를 침략하는 나라에 닥쳐올 환난 날을 내가 조용히 기다리라. 비록 무화과나무에 꽃망울이 없고 포도나무에 열매가 없으며 감람나무에 소출이 없고 밭에 곡식이 없으며 우리에 양이 없고 외양간에 소가 없을지라도, 나는 여호와 안에서 즐거워하며 나의 구원의 하나님 안에서 기뻐하리라. 절대군주 여호와는 나의 힘이시니 나의 발길을 사슴처럼 높은 곳으로 다니게 하시리라(3:15-19)” 하였듯, 아무리 고통스럽고 절망적인 상황에서도 신실하신 하나님 그리스도의 대속과 구원의 언약을 확신하며 맡기고 기다리며 죽기까지 순종해야 됩니다. 사랑하는 형제자매 여러분, 모두모두 그처럼 올바른 믿음으로 세상을 이기시고 대속과 구원과 부활을 얻어 영생하시기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

And no matter how painful and desperate the situation, we must not lose hope, but must entrust ourselves to the faithful God Christ, the covenant of redemption and salvation, and wait for Him, obeying Him until death, as “You trample the sea with your horses, churning the great waters. I heard and my heart pounded, my lips quivered at the sound; decay crept into my bones, and my legs trembled. Yet I will wait patiently for the day of calamity to come on the nation invading us. Though the fig tree does no0t bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments (3:15-19)” Dear brothers and sisters, I pray earnestly in the name of Jesus Christ that you may overcome the world with the right faith, obtain redemption and salvation, and be resurrected and live forever.
