오는 28일부터 네이버와 토스 같은 플랫폼에서도 병원 진료를 예약하면 실손보험까지 한 번에 청구할 수 있다. 소비자가 병원, 의원 등에 실손 보험금을 타고 싶다고 요청하면 보험 회사로 서류가 전송돼 현장에서 ‘원스톱’으로 보험금이 청구되는 것이다. 보험금을 타기 위해 서류를 일일이 떼야 하는 번거로움을 없애려는 목적이다.

금융위원회와 금융감독원은 27일 “28일부터 별도의 앱 설치와 회원 가입 없이 네이버와 토스를 통해 실손보험 청구전산화 서비스(실손24)를 이용할 수 있다”고 안내했다. 네이버와 토스도 병원 예약부터 보험금 청구까지 ‘원스톱’으로 처리할 수 있는 기능을 확대할 계획이다.

소비자가 온라인 플랫폼에 등록한 결제 수단을 이용해 실손24 연계 병원에서 결제하는 경우, 플랫폼이 ‘보험금 청구 알림’을 보내 소비자가 보험금 청구를 누락하지 않도록 지원하는 방식 등이다.

보험개발원은 네이버와 토스를 통해 실손24 보험금 청구를 완료하면 소비자에게 네이버페이·토스 포인트 3000원을 지급하는 이벤트도 진행한다.

다만 실손24에 연계된 병원이나 약국이 많지 않은 점이 과제다. 이달 25일 기준 요양기관 2만3102곳이 실손24에 연계돼 있는데, 이는 전체 요양기관(10만4925곳)의 22% 수준이다.
