The Work of Jesus at the First and Second Coming
After Adam sinned, God appointed Noah, the 9th descendant of Adam, and ended Adam’s world. And through the sin of Noah’s second son, God promised the things to come to Abraham, the 10th descendant of Noah. Afterwards, God fulfilled the promise by appointing Moses and Joshua, and He brought Noah’s world to an end. However, Solomon, the king of physical Israel, the nation that conquered the land of Canaan, also broke the covenant (Ex 19:5-6) like Adam and worshipped gentile gods (Hos 6:7, 1Kgs 11). Because of this, God ended physical Israel and prophesied the things that will happen in the future through the Old Testament prophets.
God and Jesus came at the first coming according to these prophecies. Jesus appeared according to the prophecies made in the Old Testament (Is 7:14, Mt 1:18-23). And Jesus received and ate the scroll of Ez 3 and came to the people of Israel (Mt 15:24). He came and fulfilled the work of “bearing the sins of all people,” “sowing two kinds of seed,” and “establishing the new covenant.” This new covenant was the promise that would be fulfilled at the time of the second coming of Jesus (Lk 22:14-20).
● Jesus’ Second Coming and the Work at That Time
Jesus of the second coming, like God, comes as a spirit (Mt 24:27, Lk 17:22-24). What he fulfills are the prophecies of the New Testament four gospels and the prophecies of the book of Revelation. At this time, Jesus shows all of the work of fulfilling the New Testament to the messenger of Jesus and sends him to the churches to testify (Rv 22:8, 16). This messenger is the promised pastor whom Jesus sent to the churches.
This pastor is the one who wrote the letters in Rv 2-3, the one who received and ate the opened book in Rv 10. He is the promised pastor who sees Jesus fulfilling all the events of the New Covenant Revelation and testifies about the actual entities. When this pastor testifies, Jesus is unseen. What is seen are the promised pastor and the fulfilled, actual entities. The promise (new covenant) was made for us to believe this (Jn 14:29).
The prophecies of the New Covenant Revelation are recorded on approximately twenty-five pages, and the purpose of this Revelation is to “harvest the ripened wheat grown from God’s seed that Jesus sowed at the time of the first coming,” to “seal with the names of God and Jesus,” and to “create the 12 tribes, the promised nation and the promised people.” Besides this new kingdom and new people, everything else comes to an end. Therefore, the time of the harvest is the end of the age (Mt 13:39).
In the days of Noah and Lot, the time of the judgment of Adam’s world and the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, only eight members of Noah’s family and three members of Lot’s family remained. Similarly, at the time of the judgment in Revelation, only those who are sealed and the great multitude in white will remain. At this time, there will be a marriage where the 12 tribes who are left remaining, and the spirits of the holy city, New Jerusalem (heaven in the spiritual world) become one. And there will be the first resurrection. They are those who receive salvation at the time of the New Covenant Revelation and those who welcome the new era and the kingdom of heaven. Besides them, others that appear in the book of Revelation are entities who appear in the process of creating the 12 tribes. Why aren’t you trying to know about this?
At this time, from the era of the devil’s reign to the era of God’s reign, from the old era to a new era, from an old self to a new self—everything is changed from an old thing to a new thing. Everything up until now passes away, and it is a new era where only the new things that have been re-created remain.
The Word in the beginning is God (Jn 1:1-4), and because this God of the Word comes and lives inside me, God rebuilds his house (ref. Zec 12:1). The reconstructed house is a new house. Now, we will not live as the old things but as the new things. We will be clothed with the things of heaven (the kingdom of heaven and the holy spirit) (2Cor 5:2-4). Now is the time when this work is fulfilled (ref. 1Cor 15:51-54), and it is for this work that Revelation came to be. This is the work that even the holy spirits of heaven, all creation in heaven and earth, and the spirits of the martyrs have been eagerly waiting for (ref. Rom 8).
Now, the only thing God has to fulfill is the book of Revelation. It will be fulfilled according to Rv 21:1-6.
“Father God, who is victorious, Jesus, the family of Shincheonji are eagerly waiting. Please reign as soon as possible. Please come quickly. We are waiting like this. I believe things will come to pass according to the word, ‘It [all] is done.’ Amen."
