[163] 2017-10-12 Walking Buddha

출발은 평범했다.

The start was just as usual. 

멀리 아기자기한 능선이 보이기 시작한다.

I could see the line of mountain ridge far away. 

복싱협회와 스포츠학교 시설이다.

The facilities of boxing association and sports school. 

커브가 심한 곳에는 이렇게 차선에 확실한 표시가 있다.

At a highly curved road the mark of car lane is very thick and strong. 

길고 긴 평야코스를 지나 어제는 호수를 거치더니 오늘은 아름다운 산들을 만난다.

I passed through long flat land.  Yesterday I passed by a lake.  Today I met beautiful mountains.

어느 다리밑을 지나는데 이 보살님들이 기다렸다는 듯이 먹을 것과 돈을 안긴다.

When I was passing under a bridge, these Buddhist women gave me some money and something to eat. 

아마도 스님이나 순례자에게 드리려고 준비를 했는데 마침 필자가 지나가니까 마음을 낸 것이다.

Probably they prepared alms for the Buddhist monk.  When they saw me, they changed their mind. 

이처럼 먹을 것을 담은 봉지에 가득 무엇인가를 적어두었다.

Some characters were written on the envelope of food. 

마침 하라상이 합류해서 리플렛을 갖고 상세한 설명을 한다. 감탄하고 놀란다.
그리고 더 많은 지폐가 나왔다. 불심이 가득한 보살님이다.

Mr. Hara joined and explained about pilgrimage in detail. 

They were surprised and deeply moved. 

They pulled out more money.  Oh, they were so merciful. 

그곳을 떠난지 얼마되지 않아 이 놀라운 부처님을 만났다.
우산과 지팡이를 들고 인도전역을 걸으시면서 수행하고 설법하시던 부처님의 모습이다.
걸으시는 부처님! Walking Buddha!

After I left the merciful women, I met this wonderful statue of Buddha. 

This is the real appearance of Buddha who walked through India, with an umbrella and a stick. 

The Buddha disciplined himself and preached to the people through walking.   Walking Buddha! 

마침 필자도 우산과 지팡이를 들고 있어서 모양새가 비슷하다.  기념비적인 사진을 찍었다.

Just like Buddha, I had an umbrella and a stick.  Same appearance.  I took a monumental picture.

Mr. Hara took a picture. 

"우리 모두 순례하는 부처가 됩시다!"

Let's follow Buddha! Let's go pilgrimage!

그곳을 떠나 얼마 지나지 않아서 만난 고양이. 필자를 뚫어지게 본다.

After we left the statue of walking Buddha, I met a cat.  The cat was staring at me. 

부처님 같은 아이를 만났다. 다섯살이나 되었을까, 혼자 놀다가 필자를 보더니 함박 웃음이다.

I met a boy like Buddha.  He appeared to be 4 or 5 years old. 

He was playing alone.  When he saw me, he was all smiles. 

편의점에서 만난 또 그만한 아이다.
부모와 함께 있었지만 필자를 뚫어지게 보길래 바로 한 컷.

I met another boy who was also like Buddha at a convenient store. 

He was standing with his parents.   He was staring at me.  I took a picture with him.

그리고 그 식구들과 한 컷.

오늘의 목적지 기술학교에서 만난 학생들과 함께

I took a picture with the students of a technical school where I was supposed to stay at.

하라상도 부지런히 지구촌 식구들을 만나고 있다.

Mr. Hara was busy with meeting the family of Earth village. 

이 지역 Saraburi에서 한식당을 열고 있는 한국인 사장님과 함께.
이 지역은 한국인 만나기가 어렵다면서 필자가 이 식당에 온 세번째 한국인이라고 한다.
로마까지 간다고 하니 너무 놀라며 음료수를 안긴다.

We met a restaurant owner who was a Korean.  He said that Koreans seldom come to this region, Saraburi.   

I was the third Korean visitor of his restaurant.  When I said I would walk to Rome, he was so surprised. 

He gave me lots of drinks.

걷는 부처님의 사진이 좋네요. 부처님도 분명 민중의 사랑 마음로 지탱해 져서 가르침을 설득하고, 수행된 것이지요. 생명·탈핵의 지구천을 만들기 위해서 이 선생님도 하라씨도 수행되고 있네요.
일본에서는 10월10일 해산 총선거가 시작되었습니다. 12일에는 신모에다케가 6년만에 분화했습니다. 6년전의 1월에 300년만의 분화했습니다만, 바로 뒤에 3.11대지진이 이러났습니다. 일본은 화산열도인 것이 이sight에서도 알겠습니다.
