Mary Yeah, that would be good. And we definitely need to bring our prescription meds, too.
​Jack Can't forget those. We should bring enough for the entire trip.

​Minsu Indeed, it is. It's the day when the Korean War broke out.
​Helen What year was that, by the way?
​Minsu The war erupted back in 1950 on June 25th. And the fighting ended in 1953 with an armistice agreement.

​Minsu That's correct. We commemorate this day to remember all the fallen soldiers.
Minsu My grandfather suffered a lot after the Korean War. He was separated from his family living in the North and never saw them again.

​Minsu Yeah, it was. Many families were torn apart like his.
​Helen Did he ever have a chance to visit North Korea?
​Minsu No, unfortunately not. The division made it impossible for him to see his family again.
