Be Saved by Obedience Faith within Emmanuel until death only

성경말씀: 스가랴 7~11장

Scripture Reading: Zechariah 7-11

“예루살렘과 사방의 성읍들과 남방의 평원들에 백성이 평온히 거주하며 번영할 때에 여호와가 일찍이 선지자들을 통하여 말하지 않았느냐, - 전능하신 여호와가 말하노라 진실한 정의를 행하고 서로 인애와 긍휼을 베풀며, 과부와 고아와 나그네와 궁핍한 자를 압제하지 말고 세상의 악한 일은 마음 속으로 생각도 하지말라(7:7, 9-10)” 하였듯, 사람들은 말씀에 겉으로 나타나는 의미를 열심히 따라 지키면 올바른 믿음이라 착각하고 하나님이 원하시며 성령과 양심으로 가르치는 정의와 사랑을 망각합니다.

Almost of people are mistakenly believe that diligently following the outward meaning of the Word of God constitutes correct faith, and they are loss the justice and love that God desires and teaches through the Holy Spirit and own conscience, as “Are these not the words the Lord proclaimed through the earlier prophets when Jerusalem and its surrounding towns were at rest and prosperous, and the Negev and the western foothills were settled? – This is what the Lord Almighty says: Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the alien or the poor. In your hearts do not think evil of each other (7:7, 9-10)”

그래서 “전능하신 여호와가 그의 영으로 선지자들을 통하여 전한 율법과 말씀을 듣지 않아 전능하신 여호와께서 크게 진노하였느니라. 전능하신 여호와가 말하노라 내가 불러도 듣지 않았으므로 그들이 부르짖어도 내가 듣지 않았고, 내가 그들을 폭풍으로 여러 나라에 흩어 나그네로 살게 하였고 그들이 쾌적한 땅을 황량하게 만들었으며 이 땅이 황폐되어 오가는 사람이 없었느니라(7:12-14)” 하였듯, 하나님을 거역한 죄로 심판을 받습니다.

So many people are judged for their sins of disobeying God’s true wills, as “They made their hearts as hard as flint and would not listen to the law or to the words that the Lord Almighty had sent by his Spirit through the earlier prophets. So, the Lord Almighty was very angry. When I called, they not listen; so, when they called, I would not listen, says the Lord Almighty. I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations, where they were strangers. The land was left so desolate behind them that no one could come or go. This is how they made the pleasant land desolate (7:12-14)”

그러나, “여호와가 말하노라 내가 시온 산 예루살렘으로 돌아가 거주하리니 예루살렘은 진리의 성읍이 되고 전능하신 여호와의 산은 거룩한 산이라 하리라. 예루살렘 길거리에 나이가 많아 손에 지팡이를 잡은 남녀 노인들이 다시 앉고, 성읍의 거리마다 뛰노는 소년 소녀들로 가득하리라. 그날에 살아남은 백성들에게는 그런 일이 기이하게 보이겠으나 내게도 기이하겠느냐. 전능하신 여호와가 말하노라 내가 내 백성을 동쪽에서 서쪽까지 구원하고, 예루살렘으로 데려와 살게 하며 그들은 내 백성이 되고 나는 그들의 신실하고 의로운 하나님이 되리라(8:3-8)” 하였듯, 징계와 연단 후에 찾아와 동행하시는 하나님 안에서 올바른 믿음이 됩니다.

However, everyone who can have the right faith in God of Emmanuel, who comes to those who have been disciplined obeying hearts for his sins of disobedience only, as “This is what the Lord says: I will return to Zion and dwell in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the Lord Almighty will be called the Holy Mountain. This is what the Lord Almighty says: Once again men and women of ripe old age will sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each with cane in hand because of his age. The city streets will be filled with boys and girls playing there. This is what the Lord Almighty says: It may seem marvelous to the remnant of this people at that time, but will it seem marvelous to me? Declares the Lord Almighty. This is what the Lord Almighty says: I will save my people from the countries of the east and the west. I will bring them back to live in Jerusalem; they will be my people, and I will be faithful and righteous to them as their God (8:3-8)”

왜냐하면 “전능하신 여호와의 성전을 건축하려고 기초를 놓던 날에 선지자들의 말을 너희가 들었으니 용기를 내어 맡은 일을 끝내라. 그전에는 내가 모든 사람이 서로 대적하였으므로 원수들 때문에 평안히 다니지 못하였고 사람이나 짐승도 소득을 얻지 못하였느니라. 이제는 내가 살아남은 백성을 예전과 같이 대하지 아니하리라. 살아남은 백성들에게 하늘은 이슬을 내리고 씨앗은 잘 자라며 땅은 산물을 내고 포도나무가 열매를 맺게 하리라. 이방인들에게 저주의 표징이 되었던 유다와 이스라엘 족속을 내가 구원하여 복의 표징이 되게 하리니 두려워하지 말고 담대하게 행하라(8:9-13)” 하였듯, 하나님의 가르침과 인도를 따라 순종하는 마음에만 올바른 믿음을 이루게 하시기 때문입니다.

Because, God will be accomplished for right faith to whom, he will be always humbly obeys the God’s teachings and guidance only, as “This is what the Lord Almighty says: You who now hear these words spoken by the prophets who were there when the foundation was laid for the house of the Lord Almighty, let your hands be strong so that the temple may be built. Before that time there were no wages for man or beast. No one could go about his business safely because of his enemy, for I had turned every man against his neighbor. But now I will not deal with the remnant of this people as I did in the past, declares the Lord Almighty. The seed will grow well, the vine will yield its fruit, the ground will produce its crops, and the heavens will drop their dew, I will give all these things as an inheritance to the remnant of this people. As you have been an object of cursing among the nations, O Judah and Israel, so will I save you, and you will be a blessing. Do not be afraid, but let your hands be strong (8:9-13)”

왜냐하면, “오직 너희는 진리와 화평을 사랑하라. 전능하신 여호와가 말하노라 세상 모든 나라와 성읍 사람들이 예루살렘으로 오리라. 한 도시의 사람들이 다른 도시에 가서 우리가 즉시 예루살렘으로 가서 전능하신 여호와를 찾고 은혜를 간구하자 하면 우리가 스스로 준비하고 가리라 하리라. 강대한 나라들과 수많은 백성들이 예루살렘으로 와서 전능하신 여호와를 찾으며 은혜를 간구하리라. 그날에 여러 나라와 방언에서 온 사람 열명이 유다 사람의 옷자락을 잡고 하나님이 너희와 함께 하심을 들었으니 우리가 너와 함께 가리라(8:19-23)” 하였듯, 하나님과 동행하며 순종해야 진리와 화평을 전하는 복음의 증인이 될 수 있기 때문입니다.

Because, those who only walking with God and obeying Him, he can become a true witness of the gospel that spreads truth and peace in Christ, as “Be love truth and peace only. This is what the Lord Almighty says: Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come, and the inhabitants of one city will go to another and say, ‘Let us go at once to entreat the Lord and seek the Lord Almighty. I myself am going. And many peoples and powerful nations will come to Jerusalem to seek the Lord Almighty and to entreat him. This is what the Lord Almighty says: In those days ten men from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, ‘Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you (8:19-23)”

왜냐하면, “시온의 백성 예루살렘의 딸들아 크게 기뻐하며 즐거이 외치라 공의로운 구원을 베푸시는 너희 왕이 겸손하게 작은 나귀 새끼를 타시고 너희에게 임하시리라. 내가 이스라엘의 전차들과 예루살렘의 말들과 전쟁무기들을 제거하고 그는 모든 민족에게 평화를 선포하여 바다에서 바다까지 유브라데 강에서 땅 끝까지 그가 통치하리라(9:9-10)” 하였듯, 임마누엘 하나님은 섬김의 영으로 오시고 순종하는 만큼 일하시기 때문입니다.

Because, Emmanuel God comes with the Spirit of Service, and He uses and accomplishes only as much as humbly obedience one, as “Rejoice greatly, O Daughters of Zion. Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem. See, your king comes to you, righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey. I will take away the chariots from Ephraim and the war-horses from Jerusalem, and the battle bow will be broken. He will proclaim peace to the nations. His rule will extend from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth (9:9-10)”

그래서 “소망의 포로들아 요새로 돌아오라 내가 너희를 두배로 복원하리라. 유다를 나의 활로 삼고 이스라엘을 화살로 삼으며 예루살렘의 자녀들은 용사의 빛나는 칼로 삼아 헬라를 치리라. 그때에 절대군주 여호와께서 나팔을 불며 남방의 폭풍처럼 진군하며 그들 위에 나타나 번개처럼 번쩍이는 여호와의 화살을 쏘시리라. 전능하신 여호와가 그들의 방패가 되시므로 그들이 물맷돌로 대적을 굴복시키고 제단 모퉁이에 뿌리려고 그릇에 가득채운 포도주를 마신듯 즐겁게 외치리라(9:12-15)” 하셨듯, 진심으로 하나님을 신뢰하며 맡기고 순종하는 자에게만 전능하신 하나님으로 역사하십니다.

Therefore, God works as Almighty God only to those who truly trust in Him, entrust himself to Him, and Humbly obeying to Him, as “Return to your fortress, O prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you. I will bend Judah as I bend my bow and fill it with Ephraim. I will rouse your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and make you like a warrior’s sword. Then the Lord will appear over them; his arrow will flash like lightning. The Sovereign Lord will sound the trumpet; he will march in the storms of the south, and the Lord Almighty will shield them. They will destroy and overcome with sling-stones. They will drink and roar as with wine; they will be full like a bowl used for sprinkling the corners of the altar (9:12-15)”

그래서 “전능하신 여호와가 그의 양떼 유다 족속을 돌보며 전쟁에 용감한 말처럼 강하게 하리라. 모퉁이 돌과 장막의 말뚝과 전쟁하는 활과 다스리는 자가 다 유다에서 나오리라. 여호와가 그들과 함께 하므로 그들이 용맹한 전사가 되어 적의 기병대를 무너뜨리고 원수들을 진흙처럼 짓밟으리라. 내가 유다 족속을 강하게 하고 이스라엘을 구원하리라 나는 그들의 부르짖음을 들어주는 그들의 하나님 여호와이니 내가 그들을 긍휼히 여기며 버림받지 않았던 것처럼 회복시키리라(10:3-6)” 약속하며 가르치셨습니다.

So, God promised and taught to us, as “For the Lord Almighty will care for his flock, the house of Judah, and make them like a proud horse in battle. From Judah will come the cornerstone, from him the tent peg, from him the battle bow, from him every ruler. Together they will be like mighty men trampling the muddy streets in battle. Because the Lord is with them, they will fight and overthrow the horsemen. I will strengthen the house of Judah and save the house of Joseph. I will restore them because I have compassion on them. They will be as though I had not rejected them, for I am the Lord their God and I will answer them (10:3-6)”

그러므로, “내가 그들을 여러 나라로 흩었어도 그들이 나를 기억하고 살아남아 자녀들과 함께 돌아오리라. 내가 그들을 애굽과 앗수르에서 모아서 돌아오게 하고 길르앗과 레바논으로 데려가리니 그들이 들어갈 땅이 좁아지리라. 고난의 바다를 건너가는 그들 앞에 파도가 잠잠해지고 나일의 깊은 강들이 마르며 앗수르의 교만이 낮아지고 애굽의 권세가 사라지리라. 내가 그들을 여호와 안에서 강하게 하여 그들이 모든 일을 내 이름으로 행하게 하리라(10:9-12)” 하였듯, 그릇된 믿음을 징계하고 고난으로 연단하시며 깨닫아 회개하고 임마누엘 하나님께 돌아오게 하시며 복음의 증인으로 순종하게 하십니다.

Therefore, God disciplines us for our wrong beliefs, trains us through suffering, makes us realize our sins, make us repent, and turns us back to God, Emmanuel, and makes us obey as witnesses of the gospel, as “Though I scatter them among the peoples, yet in distant lands they will remember me. They and their children will survive, and they will return. I will bring them back from Egypt and gather them from Assyria. I will bring them to Gilead and Lebanon, and there will not be room enough for them. They will pass through the sea of trouble; the surging sea will be subdued and all the depths of the Nile will dry up. Assyria’s pride will be brought down and Egypt’s scepter will pass away. I will strengthen them in the Lord and in his name, they will walk, declares the Lord (10:9-12)”

왜냐하면, “내가 은총과 연합이라 하는 두 지팡이로 도살당할 양떼, 압제 받는 양떼를 먹였음에도, 나를 미워하는 양떼들에게 실망하여 한 달 동안에 목자 셋을 제거하였고, 내가 너희의 목자가 되지 아니하리니 죽어가는 자는 죽고, 망해가는 자는 망하고, 살아남은 자들은 서로의 살을 먹으라 하였으며, 그래서 은총이라 불리는 내 지팡이를 꺾고 모든 백성들과 세운 언약을 폐하였느니라. 나의 언약이 폐기된 그날에 나를 바라보던 가련한 양들은 그것이 여호와의 말씀인 줄 알았느니라(11:7-11)” 하였듯, 하나님의 은총에 감사하며 헌신하는 사람의 순종이 연합해야 온전하게 이루어지도록 정하신 그리스도의 믿음과 구원을 위하여 사람에게 자유의지를 주셨기 때문입니다.

Because, God gave man free will for the sake of faith and salvation in Christ, which he decreed would be fully realized only when the obedience of those who are grateful and devoted to God’s grace are united, as “So, I pastured the flock marked for slaughter, particularly the oppressed of the flock. Then I took two staffs and called on Favor and the other Union, and I pastured the flock. In one month, I got rid of the three shepherds. The flock detested me, and I grew weary of them, and said, ‘I will not be your shepherd. Let the dying die, and the perishing perish. Let those who are left eat one another’s flesh. Then I took my staff called Favor and broke it, revoking the covenant I had made with all the nations. It was revoked on that day, and so the afflicted of the flock who were watching me knew it was the word of the Lord (11:7-11)”

그러나 “내가 그들에게 너희가 좋게 여기면 품삯을 내게 주고 그렇지 않거든 그만두라 하였더니 그들이 은 30개를 달아서 주더라. 여호와께서 그들이 너에게 정하여 준 값을 토기장이에게 던지라 하시므로 내가 은 30개를 여호와의 전에서 토기장이에게 던지고, 내가 연합이라 하는 둘째 지팡이를 꺾어 유다와 이스라엘의 형제간 의리를 끊었느니라(11:12-14)” 하였듯, 하나님 백성 유대인들은 예수 그리스도를 인정하지 않고 거역하므로 하나님께 버림받고 구원에서 배제되었습니다. 그러므로 여러분 모두 임마누엘 하나님 안에서 죽기까지 순종하고 구원 얻기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

However, God’s people, the Jews, did not know God’s providence and did not acknowledge Jesus Christ. They rebelled against him and crucified him, and were thus forsaken by God and excluded from salvation, as “I told them, ‘If you think it best, give me my pay; but if not, keep it. So, they paid me thirty pieces of silver. And the Lord said to me, ‘Throw it to the potter’ the handsome price at which they priced me. So, I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house of the Lord to the potter (11:12-14)” Therefore, beloved brothers and sisters, I earnestly pray and bless you in the name of Jesus Christ to obtain redemption and salvation through humble faith in God, Immanuel, even unto death. Amen.
