성경말씀: 스가랴 1~6장

Scripture Reading: Zechariah 1~6

“너희는 내게 돌아오라 그러면 내가 너희에게 돌아가리라 전능하신 여호와의 말이니라. 옛적 선지자들이 그들에게 전능하신 여호와께서 너희가 악한 길, 악한 행위를 떠나서 돌아오라 말씀하셨다 외쳤으나 그들이 듣지 않고 내게 귀를 기울이지 않은 너희 조상들 같이 되지 말라 여호와의 말이니라. 너희 조상들이 어디 있느냐 선지자들이 영원히 살겠느냐, 그러나 내가 나의 종 선지자들을 통하여 말한 대로 너희 조상들에게 임하지 않았느냐 그래서 그들이 회개하며 전능하신 여호와께서 우리의 행위를 따라 우리에게 이루셨다(1:3-6)” 하였듯, 하나님께서 부르실 때 즉시 자신의 죄를 깨닫고 진심으로 회개해야 진실한 믿음의 길에 들어섭니다.

No one should be overconfident in his own faith or righteousness, but when God calls him, he must immediately recognize his sins and repent to God. Only then he can enter the path of true and correct faith, as “Return to me, declares the Lord Almighty, and I will return to you, says the Lord Almighty. Do not be like your forefathers, to whom the earlier prophets proclaimed: This is what the Lord Almighty says: Turn from your evil ways and your evil practices. But they would not listen or pay attention to me, declares the Lord. Where are your forefathers now? And the prophets, do they live forever? But did not my words and my decrees, which I commanded my servants the prophets, overtake your forefathers? Then they repented and said, ‘The Lord Almighty has done to us what our ways and practices deserve, just as he determined to do. The Man Among the Myrtle Trees (1:3-6)”

그러면, “여호와의 천사가 전능하신 여호와여 여호와께서 진노하신 지 70년이 되었나이다 언제나 예루살렘과 유다 성읍들을 긍휼히 여기시려나이까 간구하니, 여호와께서 내게 말하는 천사에게 친절한 위로의 말씀으로 대답하셨듯(1:12-13)” 징계와 연단이 끝나고, “나의 긍휼로 예루살렘에 돌아가 측량줄을 예루살렘에 펼치고 내 집을 다시 세우리라 전능하신 여호와의 말이니라. 더 나아가 선포하기를 전능하신 여호와가 말하노라 나 여호와가 예루살렘을 다시 선택하고 위로하리니 이스라엘의 성읍들이 다시 풍요로 넘치리라(1:16-17)” 하였듯, 하나님의 은혜와 사랑 안에서 믿음이 자라납니다.

Then, his faith grows up in God’s grace and loves, as “Then the angel of the Lord said, ‘Lord Almighty, how long will you withhold mercy from Jerusalem and from the towns of Judah, which you have been angry with these seventy years? So, the Lord spoke kind and comforting words to the angel who talked with me (1:12-13)” “I will return to Jerusalem with mercy, and there my house will be return to Jerusalem with mercy, and there my house will be rebuilt. And the measuring line will be stretched out over Jerusalem, declares the Lord Almighty. Proclaim further: This is what the Lord Almighty says: My towns will again overflow with prosperity, and the Lord will again comfort Zion and choose (1:16-17)”

그리고, “그 때 여호와께서 대장장이 네 명을 보여주시더라. 내가 그들이 무엇을 하려고 왔나이까 물었더니 그 뿔들이 유다를 흩뜨려서 사람들이 머리를 들지 못하게 하였고 유다 백성들을 흩어버린 이방의 뿔들을 대장장이들이 두렵게 하고 무너뜨리고 멸망시키리라(1:20-21)” 하였듯, 악한 유혹과 핍박에서 건져 주십니다.

And he will be receive the grace of God that protects and delivers him from the evil temptations and persecutions, as “Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen. I asked, ‘What are these coming to do? He answered, ‘These are the horns that scattered, ‘These are the horns that scattered Judah so that no one could raise his head, but the craftsmen have come to terrify them and throw down these horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter its people (1:20-21)”

그리고, “예루살렘에 사람과 가축이 너무 많아 성곽이 없는 성읍처럼 되리라 전하라. 여호와가 말하노라 내가 불로 둘러싼 성곽이 되고 그들 가운데 영광이 되리라. 내가 너희를 바람으로 사방에 흩어지게 하였으나 너희는 북방 땅에서 도피하여 나오라 바벨론 성으로 끌려간 자들아 이제 도피하여 예루살렘으로 돌아오라. 그가 나를 공경하고 너희를 약탈한 민족들을 치러 나를 보내셨으니 너희를 건드리는 자는 그의 눈동자를 건드리는 것이니라(2:4-8)” 하였듯, 항상 동행하며 보호하시는 임마누엘 은혜를 얻습니다.

Furthermore, he will be received the grace of Emmanuel, in which God always accompanies and protects him, as “Jerusalem will be a city without walls because of the great number of men and livestock in it. And I myself will be a wall of fire around it, declares the Lord, and I will be its glory within. Come. Come. Flee from the land of the north, declares the Lord, for I have scattered you to the four winds of heaven, declares the Lord. Come, O Zion. Escape, you who live in the Daughter of Babylon. For this is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘After he has honored me and has sent me against the nations that have plundered you-for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye (2:4-8)”

그리고 “예루살렘아 내가 너희에게 임하여 함께 머무르리니 기뻐하며 노래하라. 그날에 나는 너희 가운데에 머무르고 많은 나라가 여호와께 속하여 내 백성이 되리니 전능하신 여호와께서 나를 보내신 줄 너희가 알리라. 여호와께서 유다를 자기 소유 거룩한 땅으로 삼고 예루살렘을 다시 택하시리라. 여호와께서 그의 거룩한 처소에서 일어나시리니 모든 육체가 여호와 앞에서 잠잠하리라(2:10-12)” 하였듯, 진정한 하나님의 백성이 되게 하십니다.

And, he receives the grace to be reborn as a true child of God, as “Shout and be glad, O Daughter of Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you, declares the Lord. Many nations will be joined with the Lord in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. The Lord will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem (2:10-12)”

또한, “여호수아가 더러운 옷을 입고 천사 앞에 서있더라. 천사가 그 앞에 선 자들에게 그의 더러운 옷을 벗기라 하더라 하나님께서 여호수아에게 내가 네 죄를 제거하였으니 아름다운 옷을 입히리라 하시더라. 내가 그의 머리에 정결한 관도 씌우소서 간청하였더니 정결한 관을 그의 머리에 씌우고 옷을 입히며 여호와의 천사는 곁에 섰더라(3:3-5)” 하였듯, 죄사함을 받습니다.

Not only that, he receives the glory of God forgiving all his sins and exalting him, as “Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the anger. The angel said to those who were standing before him, ‘Take off his filthy clothes. Then he said to Joshua, ‘See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put rich garments on you. Then I said, ‘Put a clean turban on his head. So, they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him, while the angel of the Lord stood by (3:3-5)”

그러면, “네가 만일 내 길을 따르고 내 요구를 지키면 네가 내 집을 다스리며 내 뜰을 지키고 내가 너를 여기 있는 자들 가운데 자리를 주리라. 들으라 대제사장 여호수아와 너의 동료 제사장들은 장차 올 좋은 일을 상징하느니라 내가 내 종 새싹이 나게 하리라. 보라 내가 여호수아 앞에 일곱 눈이 있는 돌을 세우고 그 위에 내가 글을 쓰고 새기며 이 땅의 죄악을 하루에 제거하리라. 전능하신 여호와가 말하노라 그 날에 너희가 포도나무와 무화과나무 아래로 이웃을 초대하리라(3:7-10)” 하였듯, 그리스도 복음의 진실한 증인이 되고, “여호와께서 스룹바벨에게 말씀하셨느니라 능력이나 힘으로 되지 않고 오직 나의 영으로 되느니라. 스룹바벨이 성전의 머릿돌을 놓으면 큰 산도 평지가 되어 하나님의 은총이라 하나님의 은총이라 외치리라(4:6-7)” 하였듯, 믿지 않던 이방인들을 구원으로 인도하는 생명의 열매를 맺습니다.

From then on, he become a true witness of the gospel of Christ Jesus, as “If you will walk in my ways and keep my requirements, then you will govern my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here. Listen, O high priest Joshua and your associates seated before you, who are men symbolic of things to come: I am going to bring my servant, the Branch. See, the stone I have set in front of Joshua. There are seven eyes on that one stone, and I will engrave an inscription on it, says the Lord Almighty, and I will remove the sin of this land in a single day. In that day each of you will invite his neighbor to sit under his vine and fig tree, declares the Lord Almighty (3:7-10)” “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty. What are you, O mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of God bless it. God bless it (4:6-7)”

그러나, “내가 그에게 등잔대 좌우의 두 감람나무는 무슨 뜻입니까, 금 기름이 흐르는 두 금관 옆에 있는 감람나무 두 가지는 무슨 뜻입니까 물었더니, 그가 내게 네가 이것이 무엇인지 알지 못하느냐 하는지라 내가 주여 내가 알지 못하나이다 대답하니, 그들은 기름 부음 받은 자들로서 온 세상에서 주를 섬기는 자들이라(4:11-14)” 하였듯, 말씀과 성령으로 가르치는 복음의 진리를 올바로 알고 전하는 복음의 증인이 되고, 그렇지 못하면, “그것은 온 땅에 내리는 저주라 도둑질하는 자는 이쪽 글대로 끊어지고 맹세하는 자는 저쪽 글대로 끊어지리라. 전능하신 여호와가 말하노라 내가 이것을 보냈으니 도둑의 집에도 들어가고 내 이름으로 망령되이 맹세하는 자의 집에도 들어가 머물며 그 집을 나무와 돌까지 파괴하리라(5:3-4)” 하였듯, 멸망의 심판을 받습니다.

Even so, since the teachings of the Holy Spirit and the temptations of Satan coexist in the human heart, we must correctly understand and spread the truth of the gospel taught by the Word and the Holy Spirit, as “I asked the angel, ‘What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand? Again, I asked him, ‘What are these two olive branches beside the two gold pipes that pour out golden oil? He replied, ‘Do you not know what these are? No, my lord, I said. So, he said, ‘These are the two who are anointed to serve the Lord of all the earth (4:11-14)” For anyone who fails to correctly preach the truth of the gospel becomes a servant of Satan who uses God’s name in vain and is condemned to destruction, as “This is the curse that is going out over the whole land; for according to what is says on one side, every thief will be banished, and according to what it says on the other, everyone who swears falsely will be banished. The Lord Almighty declares, ‘I will send it out, and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of him who swears falsely by my name. It will remain in his house and destroy it, both its timbers and its stones (5:3-4)”

왜냐하면, “온 세상 사람들의 죄악이니라. 그때 납으로 된 덮개가 열리니 바구니 안에는 한 여인이 앉았더라. 그가 이르되 이는 악이라 하며 그녀를 바구니 속으로 밀어 넣고 납 조각으로 눌러 바구니를 덮더라. 내가 눈을 들어 보니 학의 날개를 가진 두 여인이 날개로 바람을 일으키며 바구니를 공중으로 들고 올라가더라. -- 그가 이르되 그녀들이 바벨론으로 옮겨가서 집을 짓고 그곳에 두리라(5:6-8, 11)” 하였듯, 우리는 모두 죄인이고 그 죄악은 마지막 심판을 통과해야 근본적으로 해결됩니다.

Because, all people have the original sin and curse of Adam in their hearts, and they are sinners whose sins will never be resolved until they finish their physical life and pass through the judgement seat of Christ, as “This is the iniquity of the people throughout the land. Then the cover of lead was raised, and there in the basket sat a woman. He said, ‘This is wickedness, and he pushed her back into the basket and pushed the lead cover down over its mouth. – To the country of Babylonia to build a house for it. When it is ready, the basket will be set there in its place (5:6-8, 11)”

왜냐하면, “그에게 전하라 전능하신 여호와가 말하노라 자기 위치에서 솟아난 새순이라는 이름을 가진 사람이 여호와의 성전을 건축하리라. 그가 여호와의 전을 건축하고 영광을 얻어 보좌에 앉아 왕으로 다스리며 제사장으로 섬기므로 두 직분에 조화를 이루리라(6:12-13)” 하셨듯, 생명의 말씀이 임마누엘 하나님과 왕이 돼야만 올바른 믿음이 되지만, “멀리 있는 사람들이 와서 여호와의 성전 건축을 도우리라 그러면 전능하신 여호와께서 나를 보내신 줄을 너희가 알리라 너희가 너희 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 열심히 순종하면 그렇게 되리라(6:15)” 하였듯, 철저하게 맡기고 순종해야만 이루게 하시고, 순종하지 아니하면 결코 돕지 아니하시는 하나님의 섭리 때문입니다. 그러므로 에덴 동산에 생명나무와 선약과가 나란히 있었듯, 우리 마음 속에서도 성령의 가르침과 사탄의 유혹이 공존함을 잊지 말고, 여러분 모두 하나님의 뜻을 잘 분별하여 믿고 신뢰하며 맡기고 죽지까지 순종하는 올바른 믿음으로 구원과 영생에 이르기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

Because, if anyone, he believes and receives that the Word of Life is become his Immanuel God and King, then it becomes his right faith, as “Tell him this is what the Lord Almighty says: Here is the man whose name is the branch, and he will branch out from his place and build the temple of the Lord. It is who build the temple of the Lord, and he will be clothed with majesty and will sit and rule on his throne. And he will be a priest on his throne. And there will be harmony between the two (6:12-13)” However, our forgiveness of sins and salvation in Christ are only possible through faith that entrusts himself completely to God and obeys until death by graces of God of Immanuel, and it is because of God’s providence that those who do not obey until death are no recognized, as “Those who are far away will come and help to build the temple of the Lord, and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the Lord your God (6:15)” Therefore, no matter how much you preach the gospel with the right faith and love, and no matter how much you receive the testimony of the Holy Spirit’s gifts and power, if you cannot keep it and obey until death, you cannot receive redemption or salvation. Do not be deceived by the words, “You have become a new person born again.” But, you must keep the faith of humility, entrustment, and obedience with a fearful and trembling heart until deatyh, and you must be saved. Dear brothers and sisters, I pray earnestly in the name of Jesus Christ that you may attain salvation and eternal life with such righteous faith all. Amen.
