예수께서 눈을 들어 부자들이 연보궤에 헌금 넣는 것을 보시고 또 어떤 가난한 과부의 두 렙돈 넣는 것을 보시고 가라사대 내가 참으로 너희에게 말하노니 이 가난한 과부가 모든 사람보다 많이 넣었도다 저들은 그 풍족한 중에서 헌금을 넣었거니와 이 과부는 그 구차한 중에서 자기의 있는바 생활비 전부를 넣었느니라 하시니라

Luke 21:1-4

As he looked up, Jesus saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury.He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins."I tell you the truth," he said, "this poor widow has put in more than all the others.All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.“

예수님께서 부자들이 헌금하는 것과 어떤 가난한 과부가 두 렙돈 헌금하는 것을 지켜보시고 말씀하십니다.” 이 가난한 과부가 다른 모든 사람들보다 더 많이 헌금하였도다.“부자들은 그들의 풍족한 생활비 중에서 일부를 연보궤에 넣었지만 그 과부는 가난한 생활 중에서도, 그녀의 생활비 전부를 연보궤에 넣은 것이다.주님의 평가는 그들의 헌금액의 단순 비교하신 것이 아니다. 각각의 다른 생활 형편 가운데서 각인이 얼마를 바치는지 보시며 그들의 마음과 믿음을 평가하신 것이다.

이 구절에서 주목해야 할 것이 있다, 생활비 전부는 재산 전부가 아닌 것이다.그녀의 생활비 전부는 하루의 생활비 혹은 일주일 혹은 한 달치의 생활비일 수 있다, 그러나 그녀의 재산 전부가 아닌 것이다. 그러나 일부 목사님들은 이 구절을 잘못 해석한다, 그녀의 재산 전체를 헌금했다고 설교하는 것이다. 주님은 모든 면에서 우리를 그렇게 평가하십니다.예를 들면, 부유하고 믿음이 장성한 자와 믿음이 약하고 가난한 자가 동일한 수준으로 하나님과 이웃을 섬겼을 때, 주님은 믿음이 약한 자를 잘했다 칭찬하신다, 그러나 믿음이 큰 자에게는 너의 믿음이 부족하다 라고 말씀하시는 것입니다.

믿음은 마라톤 선수들의 경기에 비유 된다. 세상 모든 경기는 상대적인 기록으로 우선순위를 정한다, 그래서 남보다 기록이 앞서면 무조건 1등으로 인정된다.그러나 주님의 평가 방식은 그와 다르다, 상대적인 기록를 재지 않고 개인 기록을 재기 때문이다. 주님께서 각인에게 알맞는 은혜와 능력을 주십니다. 그것을 통해 각자가 하나님과 이웃을 얼마나 사랑하는지를 주님께서 살피시고 개인들을 평가하는 것입니다.

그래서 우리 믿는 자들은 다른 사람의 많은 능력과 자신의 약함을 단순 비교하고 낙심하지 않아야 되는 것이다. 주님은 많이 준 자에게는 큰 헌신을 요구하시고, 적게 준 자에게는 적은 헌신을 요구하시기 때문이다. 다른 사람과 비교하여 교만하지도 말고 낙심하지도 말라.인간의 모습과 재능을 각각 다르게 부여하신 하나님께서는 그 누구도 다른 사람과 비교 평가하지 않습니다.

누가복음 12:47-48

주인의 뜻을 알고도 예비치 아니하고 그 뜻대로 행치 아니한 종은 많이 맞을 것이요 알지 못하고 맞을 일을 행한 종은 적게 맞으리라 무릇 많이 받은 자에게는 많이 찾을 것이요 많이 맡은 자에게는 많이 달라 할 것이니라

성경 말씀을 많이 알고, 주님의 뜻을 깨달은 자가 악한 짓을 하고 회개치 않았을 경우에, 이런 자들은 더 심한 지옥 형벌을 받는다.그러나 주님의 뜻을 알지 못하고 죄 짓고 회개치 않는 자들은 그들보다 덜한 지옥 형벌을 받는 것이다.그러나 어떤 지옥 형벌도 쉽지 않다, 무조건 지옥가지 않아야 한다. 지옥에 가지 않고 천국에 가기 위해서는 올바른 믿음을 가져야 한다.

주님께서 칭찬하는 믿음은 항상 주님의 말씀에 수종하기를 힘쓰는 것이다, 그리고 자신의 부족함을 항상 회개하고 주님의 피로 용서받는 것이다.그러나 인간의 교리들이 교회 안에 유행한다, 인간의 교리들은 주님의 말씀에 순종할 필요도 없고, 죄를 회개할 필요도 없는 것이다. 이런 인간의 교리는 성경 말씀을 부인하는 것이다, 인간 교리를 따라가는 자들은 예외없이 지옥으로 간다.

Jesus observed the rich giving and the poor widow giving two small coins, and said:"This poor widow has given more than all the others."The rich put a portion of their ample living expenses into the treasury, but this widow, despite her poverty, put her entire living expenses into the treasury.The Lord's eval‎uation was not a simple comparison of their donations. He eval‎uated their hearts and faith by observing how much each person gave in their different living circumstances.

It's important to note in this verse: "All living expenses" does not mean all of their assets.Her entire living expenses could be a day's allowance, a week's allowance, or a month's allowance, but it does not mean all of her assets.However, some pastors misinterpret this verse, preaching that she gave all of her assets.The Lord eval‎uates us in every way. For example, when a wealthy, mature person of faith and a poor, weak person of faith serve God and neighbors to the same degree,

the Lord praises the one with weak faith, but tells the one with great faith, "You lack faith."Faith is likened to a marathon race.All worldly competitions prioritize relative performance. Therefore, if someone is ahead of others, they are automatically recognized as first place.However, the Lord's eval‎uation method is different. It measures individual performance, not relative performance.The Lord grants each person the appropriate grace and ability. Through this, He examines how much each person loves God and neighbor, and He eval‎uates each individual.

Therefore, we believers must not become discouraged by simply comparing others' abilities with our own weaknesses.The Lord demands great devotion from those who have given much, and less from those who have given little.Do not be arrogant or discouraged by comparing yourself to others.God, who has given each person different forms and talents, does not compare anyone with another.

Luke 12:47-48

"That servant who knows his master's will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows.But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.

If someone who knows much about the Bible and understands the Lord's will commits evil and does not repent, they will receive a more severe punishment in hell.However, those who do not know the Lord's will, commit sin, and do not repent will receive a less severe punishment in hell.However, no punishment in hell is easy. You must avoid hell unconditionally.To avoid hell and enter heaven, you must have the right faith.

The faith the Lord praises is to always strive to obey His word, and to always repent of your shortcomings and receive forgiveness through His blood.However, human doctrines are preval‎ent in the church.Human doctrines eliminate the need for obedience to the Lord's word or repentance of sin.Such human doctrines deny the Word of God. Those who follow human doctrines will invariably go to hell.
