창조주 하나님께서 정하신 그리스도의 구원과 영생의 섭리를 성경에 기록하여 성령으로 가르치지만, “형제들아 그리스도 안에서 어린아이와 같은 너희에게 신령한 말을 하지 못하고 세상적으로 말하노라. 너희가 단단한 음식을 받아들일 준비가 되지 않아 내가 주지 못하고 너희에게 젖을 먹였느니라. 너희는 아직도 세상적이라 너희 가운데 시기와 다툼이 있으니 어찌 세상적이 아니고 육신적으로 행함이 아니겠느냐, 어떤 이는 나는 바울을 따른다 하고 다른 이는 나는 아볼로를 따른다 하니 너희가 육신적으로 행함이 아니냐, 아볼로는 무엇이고 바울은 무엇이냐 그들은 각각 주께서 주신 직임대로 너희를 믿음으로 인도한 종들이라(3:1-5)” 하였듯, 사람들은 원죄와 저주로 말미암아 성령의 진리를 찾지 않고 알지 못하며 지도자를 믿고 의지하는 그릇된 믿음에 빠집니다.

The providence of salvation and eternal life in Christ, as determined by God the Creator, is recorded in the Bible and taught through the Holy Spirit. However, due to the original sin and curse of the flesh, people doe not seek and do not know the truth of the Holy Spirit, and fall into the wrong belief of believing and relying only on the teachings of leaders, as “Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual but as worthy, mere infants in Christ. I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. You are still worthy. For since jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worthy? Are you not acting like mere men? For when one says, I follow Paul, and another, I follow Apollos, are you not mere men? What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe, as the Lord has assigned to each his task (3:1-5)”

그러나 “나는 심었고 아볼로는 물을 주었으나 하나님께서 자라나게 하셨느니라. 심는 이나 물 주는 이는 아무 것도 아니고 오직 하나님만 자라게 하심이니라. 심는 이와 물 주는 이가 마찬가지로 각자가 일한 대로 상을 받으리라. 우리는 하나님의 일꾼들이고 너희는 하나님의 밭이며 집이니라. 하나님께서 주신 은혜로 숙련된 건축자가 된 내가 기초를 놓았고 다른 사람이 그 위에 건축하나 각자 어떻게 세울지 조심해야 함이라(3:6-10)” 하였듯, 전도자는 심부름꾼이고 성령 하나님과 개별적인 교제 속에서 배우고 믿어야만 진리를 올바로 배우고 깨닫지만 그것은 지식일 뿐이며, 깨닫은 진리를 따라 순종하며 지켜야 사용하고 이루시는 임마누엘 하나님의 성전이 됩니다.

however, evangelists and leaders are merely messengers, and even if they learn and understand through fellowship with the Holy Spirit, it is only knowledge. They must follow the truth they have understood, obey it, then the Lord will be uses him and accomplished with him to become the temple of Immanuel God, as “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So, neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building. By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds (3:6-10)”

왜냐하면 “그 기초는 예수 그리스도로서 이미 닦아 놓은 기초 외에 다른 터를 닦을 자가 아무도 없음이라. 누구든지 그 기초 위에 금이나 은이나 보석이나 나무나 풀이나 짚으로 건축하면, 심판 날에 각 사람의 공력을 불로 시험하고 나타낼 것이라. 누구든지 건축한 것이 남아 있으면 보상을 받고, 그것이 불타면 그는 큰 해를 받고 불길 속에서 건져낸 것 같은 구원을 받으리라. 하나님의 성령이 너희 안에 거주하시는 하나님의 성전임을 너희가 알지 못하느냐, 너희는 하나님의 성전이고 하나님의 성전은 거룩하므로 누구든지 하나님의 성전을 더럽히면 하나님이 그를 멸하시리라(3:11-17)” 하였듯, 각 사람이 선택하여 믿는 대로 역사하시고 심판하시려고 사람에게 자유의지를 주신 하나님의 섭리 때문입니다.

Because, it is God’s providence that gave people free-will to act and judge according to each person’s choice and belief, as “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay and straw. His work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man’s work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss, he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames. Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is sacred, and you are that temple (3:11-17)”

그러므로 “아무도 자신을 속이지 말라 세상적 기준으로 지혜롭다 생각하는 자는 바보가 되라 그래야만 현명하게 됨이라. 세상의 지혜는 하나님께 어리석은 것이니 하나님은 지혜로운 자들을 교활한 꾀에 빠지게 하신다 기록되었고, 주께서 지혜자들의 생각이 허무함을 아신다 하셨음이라. 만물이 다 너희 것이니 누구든지 사람으로 자랑하지 말라. 바울이나 아볼로나 게바나 세계나 생명이나 사망이나 현재나 미래나 다 너희의 것이고, 너희는 그리스도의 것이며 그리스도는 하나님의 것이라(3:18-23)” 하였듯, 자신이 편한대로 믿으려는 육신의 생각에 속지 말고 거부하여 버리고 성령의 진리를 따라 지켜야 됩니다.

Therefore, we must not be deceived by the fleshly thoughts that seek to believe what is convenient for us, but must reject them and follow the truth of the Holy Spirit, as “Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a fool so that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: He catches the wise in their craftiness, and again, The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile. So then, no more boasting about men. All things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present on the future, all are yours, and you are of Christ and Christ is of God (3:18-23)”

그러므로 “사람들은 반드시 우리를 하나님의 비밀을 맡은 그리스도의 종으로 생각해야 하리라. 맡은 자들은 반드시 충성스럽게 증거해야 함이라. 나는 자신을 심판하지 않고 너희나 다른 사람들이 어떻게 판단하든 개의하지 아니하노라. 나를 심판하실 분은 주님이시니 내 양심이 깨끗하지만 그것이 나를 의롭게 하지는 못하므로, 때가 되기 전에는 아무 것도 판단하지 말라 주께서 오시면 빛으로 어둠에 숨겨진 것들과 마음에 숨겨진 의도를 드러내시고 하나님께서 개별적으로 칭찬하시리라(4:1-5)” 하였듯, 지도자들은 하나님의 말씀을 맡은 자로서 인정하고 존중해야 되지만, 하나님의 심판을 두려워하며 성령의 진리를 구하고 찾아 배우며 따라 지키고 순종해야 됩니다.

Therefore, we must acknowledge and respect leaders as those entrusted with the word of God, but we must fear God’s judgement and constantly seek, find, learn, follow and obey the truth of the Holy Spirit, as “So then, men ought to regard us as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the secret things of God. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. I care very little If I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me. Therefore, judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men’s hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God (4:1-5)”

그러므로 “형제들아 우리에게서 배운 말씀의 뜻을 너희가 알고 유익하게 하려고 나와 아볼로를 들어 설명하였으니 성경 말씀을 넘어가지 말라 그러면 어떤 사람을 다른 사람과 비교하며 자랑하는 죄에 빠지지 아니하리라. 누가 너희를 다른 사람과 구별하였느냐 네가 하나님께 받지 않은 것이 무엇이냐 네가 받았으면서 어찌하여 받지 않은 것처럼 자랑하느냐, 너희가 이미 원하는 것을 다 가진 부자가 되었고 우리가 없이 왕이 되었구나 너희가 왕이 되어 우리도 너희와 같이 왕이 되기를 바라노라(4:6-8)” 하였듯, 성경에 기록된 말씀에서 벗어나지 않도록 전하고 배우며 믿어야 되지만, 선포하고 가르치는 말씀이 삶과 일치되지 아니하면 거짓된 목자로 경계해야 되지만, 함부로 판단하는 어리석은 죄에는 빠지지 않게 조심해야 됩니다.

Therefore, we must preach, learn, and believe without departing from the words written in the Bible. However, if the words we proclaim and teach do not align with our lives, we must be wary of false shepherds and be careful no to fall into the foolish sin of making hasty judgement, as “Brothers, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, ‘Do not go beyond what is written. Then you will not take pride in one man over against another. For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not? (4:6-8)”

왜냐하면, “하나님이 우리 사도들을 경기장에서 죽음을 당하도록 선고받고 줄지어 끌려가는 사람들처럼 천사들과 사람들과 온 우주의 구경거리로 만드셨구나, 우리는 그리스도로 말미암아 어리석고 연약하며 수치스러우나 너희는 그리스도 안에서 지혜롭고 강하며 존귀하구나. 지금 이 순간까지 우리는 굶주리고 목마르며 헐벗고 매맞으며 집없이 떠돌고, 열심히 일하며 저주를 받아도 축복하고 박해를 받으며 참고, 비방을 받으면 다정하게 응대하니 우리가 지금까지 세상의 온갖 더러운 쓰레기와 찌꺼기가 되었구나. 내가 너희를 부끄럽게 하려고 이런 글을 쓰지 않고 내가 사랑하는 자녀처럼 너희를 경계하려 함이라. 그리스도 안에서 일만명의 스승이 있을지라도 아버지는 많지 않으니 그리스도 예수 안에서 내가 복음으로 너희를 낳았음이라(4:9-15)” 하였듯, 성령의 진리를 올바로 알고 믿으며 성령을 따라 전하는 사람은 어떠한 고난과 핍박에도 굴복하지 않고 진리를 따라 지키기 때문입니다.

Because, those who correctly know and believe the truth of the Holy Spirit and preach it under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, will not succumb to any hardship or persecution, but will follow and obey, as “For it seems to me that God has put us apostles on display at the end of the procession, like men condemned to die in the arena. We have been made a spectacle to the whole universe, to angels as well as to men. We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honored, we are dishonored. To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags we are brutally treated, we are homeless. We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly. Up to this moment we have become the scum of the earth, the refuse of the world. I am not writing this to shame you, but to warn you, as my dear children. Even though you have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I become your fathers through the gospel (4:9-15)”

그러므로 “너희는 나를 본받으라 내가 권고하노라. 그래서 내가 주 안에서 사랑하는 신실한 아들 디모데를 너희에게 보냈으니 내가 그리스도 예수 안에서 하는 일들과 어디든지 내가 가는 교회에서 가르치는 모든 것을 그가 너희에게 상기시키리라. 어떤 사람들은 내가 다시는 너희에게 가지 않을 것처럼 스스로 교만해졌으나, 주께서 허락하시면 내가 속히 너희에게 나아가서 그 오만한 자들이 무슨 말을 하는지 무슨 능력이 있는지 알아내리라. 하나님의 나라는 말에 있지 않고 오직 능력에 있음이라. 너희가 무엇을 원하느냐 내가 매를 가지고 너희에게 가야겠느냐 사랑과 온유한 마음으로 가야겠느냐(4:16-21)” 하였듯, 연약하거나 그릇된 믿음에 빠진 사람이라도 정죄하지 말고 온유한 사랑과 진리로 일깨우며 올바른 믿음으로 인도하는 본을 보이며, 본받아 믿고 따르게 해야 진실하고 올바른 믿음이란 뜻입니다. 사랑하는 형제자매 여러분, 모두 성령의 진리를 따라 믿으며 임마누엘 하나님의 성전으로 세워지는 올바른 믿음 죽기까지 지키고 구원과 영생 얻기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

Therefore, even if someone has weak or wrong faith, do not condemn them. Instead, awaken them with gentle love and truth, show them an example of leading them to the right faith, and have them believe and follow your example. This means that with the right faith, they will become the temple of God, Emmanuel, as “Therefore, I urge you to imitate me. For this reason, I am sending to you Timothy, my son when I love, who is faithful in the Lord. he will remind you of my way of life in Christ Jesus, which agrees with what I teach everywhere in every church. Some of you have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you. But I will come to you very soon, if the Lord is willing, and then I will find out not only how these arrogant people are talking, but what power they have. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. What do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a whip, or in love and with a gentle spirit (4:16-21)” Dear brothers and sisters, I pray earnestly in the name of Jesus Christ that you will believe and obey the truth of the Holy Spirit, keep the right faith until death, and be established as the temple of God Emmanuel, and obtain salvation and eternal life. Amen.
