성경말씀: 고린도 전서 1~2장

본문에 “그리스도 예수 안에서 너희에게 은혜를 베푸신 하나님께 내가 항상 감사하노라. 그리스도 안에서 너희의 모든 지식과 언사가 풍족하게 하셨고, 내가 증거한 그리스도가 너희에게 확증되었으니, 너희에게 모든 은사가 부족함이 없고 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 나타나심을 기다리게 하셨음이라. 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 날에 너희를 책망할 것이 없도록 그가 끝까지 견고하게 지키시리라. 신실하신 하나님이 너희를 불러 그의 아들 우리 주 예수 그리스도와 함께 교제하게 하셨음이라(1:4-9)” 하였듯, 그리스도의 대속과 구원에 합당한 믿음은 하나님의 말씀을 사랑하는 마음에 새겨진 말씀을 생각나게 하며 가르치는 성령의 진리를 올바로 분별하여 받아들여 믿고 신뢰하며 맡기고 순종해야 이루어집니다.

The worthy faith of Christ’s atonement and salvation is achieved by the grace of God of Immanuel, by correctly discerning, accepting, trusting, entrusting and obeying the truth of the Holy Spirit, who reminds us of the Holy Spirit, who reminds us of the Word of God engraved in our hearts and teaches us, as “I always thank God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. For in him you have been enriched in every way—in all your speaking and in all your knowledge—because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you. Therefore, you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful (1:4-9)”

왜냐하면, 하나님이 주신 자유의지와 “하나님과 같이 되리라(창3:5)” 했던 사탄의 유혹에 따라 “형제들아 너희가 서로 다투거나 분열하지 말고 한 마음과 한 뜻으로 온전히 화합하기를 내가 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 권위로 너희에게 권하노라. 내 형제들아 너희 가운데 분쟁이 있다는 말을 글로에의 가족들에게 내가 들었음이라. 내가 말하려는 것은 너희가 나는 바울에게, 나는 아볼로에게, 나는 게바에게, 나는 그리스도에게 속하였다 하며 서로 다툰다 함이라. 그리스도께서 나뉘었느냐 바울이 너희를 위하여 십자가에 못박혔거나 바울의 이름으로 세례를 받았느냐, 너희 가운데 그리스보와 가이오 외에는 내가 아무에게도 세례를 베풀지 않은 것을 감사하나니, - 그리스도께서 세례를 베풀라고 나를 보내지 않았고 오직 복음을 전하게 하셨으나 그리스도의 십자가가 헛되지 않게 하려고 사람의 지혜로 말하지 않았느니라(1:10-14, 17)” 하였듯, 제 마음대로 생각하고 믿는 어리석은 죄에 빠지기 때문입니다.

Because of the free will was given to men by God and the temptation of Satan to become like God, as “you will be like God (Genesis3:5)” Because almost everyone falls into the foolish sin of thinking and believing as they pleases, as “I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought. My brothers, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. What I mean is this: One of you says, I follow Paul, another, I follow Apollos, another, I follow Cephas, still another, I follow Christ. Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized into the name of Paul? I am thankful that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius, For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power (1:10-14, 17)”

그래서 똑 같은 말씀에 따라 예수를 믿으면서도, “십자가의 전도가 멸망할 자들에게는 어리석게 보이지만 구원 얻을 우리에게는 하나님의 능력임이라. 내가 지혜로운 자들의 지혜를 멸하고 총명한 자들의 지능을 폐기하리라 기록되었으니, 하나님께서 세상의 지혜를 미련하게 하셨는데 지혜로운 자나 학자나 이 세대의 철학자가 어디 있느냐, 세상의 지혜로는 하나님이나 하나님의 지혜를 알지 못하게 하셨고 우리의 어리석은 전도를 따라 믿는 자들을 구원하시기를 하나님께서 기뻐하심이라(1:18-21)” 하였듯, 성령을 따라 전하는 말씀을 듣고 믿을지라도 구원의 자녀와 멸망의 자식으로 나뉘게 됩니다.

So, according to the same words of the Bible and the words preached by the Holy Spirit, those who believe in Jesus as divided into children of salvation and children of destruction, as “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate. Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe (1:18-21)”

또한, “유대인은 표적을 구하고 헬라인은 지혜를 찾지만, 우리는 십자가에 못박히신 그리스도를 전하나니 유대인들은 꺼려하고 이방인에게는 어리석게 보이지만, 유대인이나 헬라인이나 부르심을 받은 자들에게는 그리스도가 하나님의 능력과 지혜라. 하나님의 어리석음이 사람보다 지혜롭고 하나님의 약하심이 사람보다 강함이라(1:22-25)” 하였듯, 선택하여 부르시고 찾아와 가르치는 성령의 은혜를 받더라도 유대인처럼 말씀의 외면적 의미에 속아 진리는 찾지 않고 하나님께서 사용하시는 능력과 표적을 구하는 어리석은 죄에 빠지거나, 신령한 하나님의 말씀을 세상 지혜로 분석하며 풀어내고 이해하려는 헬라인과 같은 어리석은 죄에 빠집니다.

Even if we receive the grace of the Holy Spirit who calls us and seeks us out to teach us, we fall into the foolish sin of seeking the power and signs used by God instead of seeking the truth, being deceived by the external meaning of the Word like the Jews, or into the foolish sin of trying to analyze, interpret, and understand the divine Word of God with worldly wisdom like the Greeks, as “Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength (1:22-25)”

그러나 “하나님께서 세상에서 어리석은 것을 선택하여 지혜자들을 부끄럽게 하시고 세상에서 약한 것을 선택하여 강한 것들을 부끄럽게 하시며, 하나님께서 세상의 천하고 멸시받고 아무것도 아닌 것들을 선택하여 소중한 것들을 폐기하시며, 아무도 하나님 앞에서 자랑하지 못하게 하려 하심이라. 너희가 하나님으로부터 나신 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 것은 그가 하나님으로부터 온 지혜로서 우리의 의로움과 거룩함과 구원이 되심이라(1:27-30)” 하였듯, 세상에 오셔서 가장 어리석고 연약한 모습으로 십자가에 죽으시고 부활하신 그리스도 안에 숨겨진 진리를 올바로 알고 믿음 안에서 죽어야만 구원을 얻습니다.

However, only by correctly understanding the truth hidden in Christ, who came to the world in the most foolish and weak dorm, died on the cross, and was resurrected, and dying in faith, can we be saved, as “God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption (1:27-30)”

그러므로, “형제들아 내가 너희에게 나아가 하나님의 증거를 지혜로운 언변으로 전하지 않았노라. 내가 너희와 함께 있으면서도 예수 그리스도의 십자가 죽음 외에는 아무 것도 알지 않기로 작정하였음이라. 내가 연약하여 심한 두려움에 떨면서 너희에게 나아갔고, 내가 지혜롭고 설득력 있는 말로 전도하지 않고 나타나는 성령의 능력으로 하였으니, 너희 믿음이 사람의 지혜로 되지 않고 오직 하나님의 능력으로 되게 하려 하였음이라(2:1-5)” 하였듯, 말씀을 전하는 자는 세상의 지혜로운 언변으로 말씀을 희석시키는 죄에 빠지지 말고 성령의 진리만 전하고 가르쳐야 됩니다.

Therefore, those who preach must not fall into the sin of diluting the truth with worldly, wise words, but must sincerely preach only the truth of the Holy Spirit, as “When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power (2:1-5)”

왜냐하면, “내가 성숙한 자들에게는 지혜의 말씀을 전하지만 세상의 지혜가 아니고 세상에서 없어질 통치자들의 지혜도 아니며, 하나님이 우리의 영광을 위하여 창세 전에 미리 예정하시고 은밀하게 감추셨던 하나님의 지혜를 전함이라. 이 지혜는 세상의 통치자들은 아무도 알지 못하였으니 만일 알았더라면 영광의 주를 십자가에 못박지 않았으리라. 하나님을 사랑하는 자들을 위하여 그가 예비하신 것은 눈으로 보지 못하고 귀로 듣지 못하고 마음으로 이해하지 못하였다 기록되었음이라(2:6-9)” 하였듯, 세상의 지혜는 영적인 눈과 귀와 마음을 열어주지 못하고 오히려 가로막아 성령의 진리를 깨닫지 못하는 그릇된 믿음에 빠뜨리기 때문입니다.

Because, worldly wisdom does not give people spiritual wisdom, but rather blocks them from understanding the truth and leads them into false beliefs, as “We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we speak of God’s secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written: No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him (2:6-9)”

왜냐하면, “깨닫는 마음과 보는 눈과 듣는 귀는 주시지 않았고(신29:4)” 진리는 말씀에 깊이 숨기셨으며, “오직 하나님이 그의 깊은 것까지 모두 통달하시는 그의 성령으로 이것을 우리에게 보이셨느니라. 사람의 일을 사람의 속에 있는 영 외에 아무도 알지 못하듯 하나님의 일도 하나님의 영 외에는 아무도 알지 못함이라. 하나님께서 우리에게 값없이 주신 놀라운 은혜를 깨닫게 하시려고 세상의 영을 주시지 않고 하나님의 영을 우리에게 주셨음이라. 영적인 진리는 성령의 말씀으로 분별하게 되므로 우리가 그것을 사람의 지혜로운 말로 너희에게 전하지 않고 오직 성령께서 가르치신 말씀으로 전하였느니라(2:10-13)” 하였듯, 성령의 가르침으로만 배우고 깨닫게 하셨기 때문입니다.

Because, “Lord has not given you a mind that understands or eyes that see or ears that hear (Deuteronomy29:4)” And the truth is deeply hidden in the word of God, instead, for God taught us and made us understand only through the teachings of the Holy Spirit only, as “God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words (2:10-13)”

그러므로, “성령의 진리는 영적으로만 분별하게 되므로 육에 속한 사람에게는 성령의 진리가 어리석게 보이고 깨닫지 못하며 받아들이지 못하느니라. 영적인 사람은 모든 것을 판단하지만 자신은 사람들의 판단에 굴복하지 않느니라. 누가 주님의 마음을 미리 알고 조언하겠느냐 그러나 우리는 그리스도의 마음을 가졌느니라(2:14-16)” 하였듯, 성령으로 찾아와 가르치는 은혜로 배우고 깨닫는 진리를 따라 지켜야 올바른 믿음이 되고, 임마누엘 하나님과 동행하며 죽기까지 순종해야 구원을 얻습니다. 사랑하는 형제자매 여러분, 모두 말씀을 사랑하며 찾아와 가르치는 성령의 은혜로 영적인 눈과 귀와 마음이 열리고 진리를 올바로 분별하여 믿고 신뢰하며 맡기고 의지하며 죽기까지 순종하고 구원과 영생 얻기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

Therefore, we must learn and understand the truth through the grace of the Holy Spirit, and we must keep it in order to have the right faith. We must walk with God of Immanuel, and obey until death to attain salvation, as “The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man makes judgements about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man’s judgement: For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ (2:14-16)” Dear brothers and sisters, I pray earnestly in the name of Jesus Christ that you may all love the Word of God and seek it out, and that through the grace of the Holy Spirit who teaches us, your spiritual eyes, ears, and hearts may be opened, that you may correctly discern the truth, believe and trust in it, entrust it to God, and obey it until death, thereby obtaining salvation and eternal life. Amen.
