8) 죽기 전에 해야 할 것

④ 세계를 위해 살고 죽어야

내가 한 가지 서러워하는 것은, 이 뜻을 내가 책임져야 하기 때문에, 살아 생전에 이 한도까지는 갖다 놓아야 하겠다는 것입니다. 그러기 전에는 죽을래야 죽을 수 없다는 것입니다.

그러기에 내가 사지에 들어가더라도 하나님이 끌어 주신다는 것입니다. 그러니 밥을 먹으나 자나 깨나 세계를 위해서…. 기도도 그렇게 하는 것입니다.

나는 아시아 정세나 한국 민족을 중심 삼고 고생하지 않았습니다. 세계적인 분야에서 어떻게 책임을 다할 것이냐 한 것입니다. 그것을 위해서 죽을 수 있어야 됩니다. 

이런 것을 생각해 볼 때 여러분은 세계를 위해서 살고 죽어야 합니다. 앞에서도 말했지만 세계적이어야 된다는 것입니다. 그러면 어떤 자리에서 죽어야 되느냐?

세계적인 입장에 서서 사랑하는 아내를 안고, 가정을 안고, 자기 종족을 안고, 민족을 몽땅 안고 죽어야 됩니다. 통일교회는 지금 종족을 편성하고 민족을 편성해 나가고 있습니다.

그러므로 통일교회 선생님은 죽되 어떤 자리에서 죽을 것이냐? 민족과 대한민국까지 몽땅 안고 세계를 위하여 죽을 것입니다.

한민족이 하나되어 가지고 세계를 위해서 죽고자 할 때는 세계와 더불어 살 수 있는 길이 있겠기 때문에 그 길을 찾아 나가는 것입니다. (34-193)

2. 死に対する理解

8) 死ぬ前にすべき事

④ 世界の為に生きて死ぬべし

先生は、アジア情勢や韓国民族を中心として苦労したのではありません。世界的な分野で、どの様に責任を果たすでしょうか。その為に、死ぬ事が出来なければなりません。

この様な事を考えてみる時、皆さんは世界の為に生きて死ななければなりません。世界的でなければなりません。では、どんな立場で死ななければならないのでしょうか。

世界的な場に立って、愛する妻を抱き、家庭を抱き、氏族を抱き、民族を抱いて死ななければなりません。統一教会は、今、氏族を編成して、民族を編成していっています。

それ故統一教会の先生は、死んでも、どんな立場で死ぬのでしょうか。民族と大韓民国迄そっくり抱いて、世界の為に死ぬでしょう。韓民族が一つになって、世界の為に死のうとする時は、世界と共に生き得る道がある為に、その道を探していくのです。（三四―一九三三）

8) Things That Must Be Done Before Death

④ Live and Die for the Sake of the World

There is one thing that I always think with pain. Since I am carrying the responsibility of God's Will, I must bring the stage of fulfillment of God's Will to the designated level while I am alive. 

To carry out this mission, I cannot die, no matter what happens. Therefore, even if I enter into the situation of death, God gives guidance to me. Whether I eat, sleep, or stay awake, I think and work for the sake of the world. 

My prayers are also directed to that goal. I did not work hard centering on Asian situations or the Korean people. I always thought about how to fulfill my responsibility on the worldwide scale. For this reason, I could not even die.

Thinking about all these things, I must say that you must live and die for the sake of the world. As I have already told you, you must stand on the level of the world. 

Then, on what position do you have to die? You must stand on the world level, and die for it, while embracing your loving wife, your family, your clan, and your tribe. The Unification Church has formed clans and is now forming tribes.

How will the Father of the Unification Church die when he dies? I will die for the sake of the world, while holding the tribe and the entire Korean nation. 

If the Korean people are united and try to die for the sake of the world, they can find the way to live with the world. For this reason, I take the path to find the way. (34:1933)
