2026: The Reason for the Delay in Genesis Study
Shalom! This is an explanation for why my study of Genesis has been suspended after only reaching Chapter 39, even though half the year has passed. First, my life is extremely unstable. I do not have a fixed place to live. The apartment in Gunsan, with a monthly rent of 100,000 won, is the best because it has a computer, Wi-Fi, and a printer. It is ideal for studying and posting. However, I need to move, but I have nowhere to go. It is also in Misari. It is a place where the water, electricity, and restrooms are unreliable. I cannot stay there during the day in the summer. I have to go to a park about a kilometer away to use the restroom and wash my face. Here, I can barely manage to have a conversation on my cell phone. Furthermore, the house where my wife and son live is inconvenient for just the two of us. So, having nowhere else to go, I am studying like this and posting to everyone. Also, since I have been unemployed for about two years, I have no income. Therefore, I am going around here and there to find a job. I have submitted applications to over 50 places. Since I am over 65, there are not many places for me to go. So, I am collecting scrap metal with a truck. I had no choice but to take out a large loan using the truck as collateral, and I am using it, but I must pay it back soon. Amidst all this, the "Light of the East" has been completed. We have also progressed through Chapter 39 of Genesis. Furthermore, "Abraham's Great Sword" was written while wandering from place to place during this time. How desperately I must long for a fixed space! It is bearable when the weather is cool, but now there is nowhere to go. That is why I prefer the second floor of Jamsil Church. Even there, the doors close at 5 PM. I also visit my brother-in-law every day to see him, as he collapsed from a cerebral hemorrhage last November. My wife's entire income goes into this, and it is always insufficient. In the midst of this, my writings continue to be uploaded without rest. God tells me to endure. I endure believing in this word. I am a person who lives firmly believing that my work is the field that God cares about most and considers most important in the whole world. Everyone! In the midst of this, I am serving the 8 billion people of the entire globe. Truly, there are times when I go crazy. So, I kneel without rest. How else could I endure a situation like this? And since the country is going mad, this is also difficult to endure. It is hard to endure without faith, but now I proceed with a faith that can chew and swallow even a large rock. It is to endure with a faith as solid as rock, as steel, and as iron. The writings below were produced in a situation where all of these things were not fully equipped. I bless you in the name of Jesus that your lives may be renewed through these words.

Light of the East: At Jamsil Church in Garak-dong, Songpa-gu
Shalom! May is radiant. All kinds of plants proudly display their beautiful forms, and red roses burn with passion alongside the scorching afternoon sun. I consider it an honor and a blessing to convey God's Word—the Light—to the whole world at Jamsil Church, the largest church in Songpa-gu, during this wonderful season. As a pastor of an independent denomination, I have received much grace at Jamsil Church. I was married in 1994 at Munjeong-dong Catholic Church with Father Moon Chung-soo officiating, and I have attended Jamsil Church for 32 years. I served as an administrative deacon for 8 years and as a teacher for 3 years; my wife has been cooking in the church cafeteria for 14 years, and my son is a sophomore in college serving in the young adult group and as an accompanist for the boys' choir. I had my second marriage at Jamsil Church. I married a Catholic woman after making a promise to become a pastor, but my first wife left without a word. And when I was experiencing hell due to severe depression and insomnia, the church called me, gave me a home and a job, and even arranged for me to get married. Seeing this, my mother was deeply moved; she became the second person in our family—all non-believing households—to believe in Jesus after me, and she passed away as an honorary Elder. Although I am not a pastor at Jamsil Church, I am spreading the light as a believer here on the second floor of the church's Second Sanctuary.
Forty years ago, I was called by God to be an instrument of spreading light throughout the world and in Korea, and now I am living a life as an instrument of Jesus. I serve as a lay member at Jamsil Church, and although I am a pastor, I do not serve as the senior pastor of any other church. Therefore, I have been called to serve all churches and believers throughout the world, including both Catholic and Protestant churches. There are no Catholics or priests who would acknowledge this work, nor are there many Protestants who would understand my ministry. My entire family consists of non-believers and are targets for evangelism. Having been called as an instrument to do this work in such spiritually challenging circumstances, the glory I feel is beyond words. Furthermore, forty years of extreme poverty, along with various forms of exclusion and antagonism, do not pose a significant difficulty. The glory I receive and enjoy is truly incomparable to these hardships. That is why I continue to carry out this work silently and without ceasing. I was born the son of a fisherman in Noryang Village on the coast of Namhae for the sake of this work. Therefore, I can understand Peter's circumstances, the situation of the Sea of Galilee, and the meaning behind Jesus's calling of the fishermen more vividly than anyone else through my own childhood experiences. My late father was a professional fisherman among professionals who caught all kinds of fish seasonally using a net in a small rowing boat; he was illiterate. He was just like Peter. However, he accurately understood the currents of the water, the movements of the moon, and the direction of the wind. He also understood the types and habits of the fish that appeared in each season, and by casting his net at the precise time and place, he was a man who caught fish that no one else could. Since I vividly remember my father working through the night to fish, unpacking large quantities of fresh fish in the yard at dawn to sell and share with the entire village, the scene of Jesus and his disciples on the seashore 2,000 years ago, as described in the Bible, becomes an incredibly real experience to me.
Jesus, who came to all of us 2,000 years ago, was the Creator of heaven and earth and the Son of God. The apostles recognized this. They knew it through the Holy Spirit. Jesus was the One who gave the Pentateuch to Moses, the One who chose Abraham and walked with him, and the One who sat at the right hand of God's throne in heaven. Furthermore, because He loved you and me, and because He loved all humanity and all creation, He shed His blood to atone for the sins of us all, suffered on the cross, died, and was buried; He resurrected on the third day, ascended to heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God. He possesses and reigns over all authority in heaven and on earth, and He will become the Judge who returns at the end of the universe to judge the entire world; He will judge the actions of all human beings who have lived on this earth based on the Law given to Him by Moses. It is through His merit that I, a heinous sinner, have received forgiveness for my sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit, and through the help of the Holy Spirit, I am conveying this amazing truth.
The truth I am conveying today is something the whole world never even dreamed of; it is blessed news that everyone living on this earth should hear and enjoy, and it is also God's will that all churches and saints in the world must hear and act upon in the year 2,000. The Light of the East was revealed through the Indian poet Tagore, and many people in Korea are also aware of it through the visions of Pastor Jeon Kwang-hoon. However, what that light is and what its content is have not yet been fully revealed. All light is revealed when Jesus comes, and the Holy Spirit illuminates it. The subject of that light is none other than Jesus, and His Word is the Bible. That amazing light shines so strongly that it blinds some people, while to others, it appears as if there is still no light at all. The most powerful evidence on Earth, where the light of Jesus can be seen most clearly, is the Word of the Bible. It is through the Bible—through the Old and New Testaments—that we come to understand salvation and the Kingdom of God. Although the Word of God shines brighter than the stars as light, sometimes due to doctrinal conflicts or clashes between denominations, churches that believe in the same Jesus as God have argued for hundreds of years over the same Bible passages, refusing to yield an inch while each side claims to be right. There are parts of some passages that remain difficult to understand even after thousands of years; however, the content of these parts has been clarified through the grace of Jesus and the help of the Holy Spirit, and I am proclaiming this truth. Therefore, since it is said that a light will go out from the East, the parts of the Bible that were long difficult to understand are being resolved and propagated to the whole world. I firmly believe that the saints who see and realize this will become children of light, a powerful light that illuminates this entire earth and universe forever, and I am proclaiming this truth.
First, all human beings living on Earth are amazing beings created in the image of God; they are both objects of God's love and beings who are meant to love God. Furthermore, they are precious and valuable beings who must live in love with one another. No creature on this earth was created as preciously as all human beings. Furthermore, all human beings are equally precious beings created in the image of God, without distinction based on status, age, gender, race, skin color, wealth, or social standing. Jesus’ Parable of the Talents proves that everyone possesses talents worth at least billions to tens of billions of won in today's gold value. Moreover, there is absolutely no discrimination in the sense that they are beings who commune with God spiritually and will enjoy eternal life after death.
There are few believers or non-believers who do not know the purpose of Jesus’ coming to this earth, and everyone in the world knows about Christmas and Easter. However, there are few who do not know Jesus, who shed His blood on the cross to save sinners; the only difference lies in whether one accepts and believes in Jesus as their God and Savior or not. Therefore, while everyone living in the world knows Jesus, the most important thing is to believe that He is the only One who can forgive one's sins and save oneself from them. This is the most important task that all humanity living on Earth must perform, regardless of whether they are Jews, Muslims, or Koreans. This is why the Apostle Paul, His servant, emphasized in Romans that since everyone is a sinner, this is not accomplished by the Jewish law, nor by the good deeds of other nations; instead, he stressed that the most important and first thing to do is to believe in Jesus as one's Savior. Paul emphasizes in his epistles that this is neither the law nor works. Therefore, this does not mean that you should discard the laws that the Jews have observed for 4,000 years—that is, the words of the Pentateuch—nevertheless; it certainly does not mean that you should not learn or keep them. Rather, it means that since the Savior of all humanity, who is greater than the law given to Moses in the Pentateuch, has come to this earth, you must first believe in Jesus. Furthermore, this message is addressed to all humanity seeking to be justified and enjoy eternal life through various ascetic practices, works, and ideologies; it means that sin is absolutely not resolved by human asceticism, good deeds, or mental discipline, so you must first believe in the Savior who atoned for sin. This is the precise meaning of the biblical statement that it is neither the law nor works. If you waver here, your entire lifelong faith will vanish. In other words, since it is neither works nor the law, there is absolutely no teaching in the Bible that simply believing in Jesus leads to justification, salvation, and entry into heaven. Those who live this way are prepared for hell; thus, if certain aspects of Protestant theology and claims are misunderstood, it implies that everyone who believes in this way and lives recklessly is prepared for hell. Jesus, the arbiter of hell and heaven, nailed this down 2,000 years ago so that no one—not a megachurch pastor, not a great theologian, not any influential Christian figure—can speak ill of it. Therefore, no one can shake this word, and according to it, those who are 100% destined for hell will go to hell no matter what they do, and those destined for heaven will go to heaven no matter what anyone says, becoming great or small in heaven. This is an essential verse to memorize and practice for all believers in Jesus, whether Catholic or Protestant.
Jesus and the Law (Revised Korean Version)
Matthew 5:17. Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
18. Truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle of the Law will pass away until all is fulfilled.
19. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever keeps them and teaches others to do so will be called greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
20. I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Verse 20 means that a person who lives according to this word will absolutely never go to heaven, no matter what they do or what they do. It is the word of the Creator of heaven and earth, which will come true exactly as it is, with no pastor, priest, or theologian on earth ever being able to overcome it. Even if a pastor ignores this word and uses all sorts of sweet talk, the person who lives according to this word will go to hell. Even a pastor of a million believers is nothing more than a small human being who cannot live for even a hundred years. In short, it means that we are merely creatures who can exert no influence over the decision of whether to go to hell or heaven. However, this is the word of Jesus that remains the truth even if the earth and the universe cease to exist. One must break out in a cold sweat, bewildered, and be severely reprimanded in the face of this word to come to one's senses. Are you just passing by? Please come to your senses. If the one guiding you does not preach this word, that person truly becomes one who is not far from hell. Yet, Korea is a place where there are countless shepherds who have never once preached on this verse throughout their entire ministry; although countless people claim to believe in Jesus, they end up receiving eternal punishment because of these leaders. The most wicked people in Korea are those leaders who believe and live as they please.
Believing in Jesus and receiving forgiveness for sins is the most important thing for all humanity in this world. It is the most important thing that must be done first. And what is the work that all saints in the world—whether Catholics or Protestants—must do after believing in Jesus? It is to live according to the words of Jesus mentioned above. It is to live day by day diligently learning and observing the law—that is, the constitution of the Kingdom of God, the Law. In terms of order, all of Paul's epistles convey that for the Jews and Gentiles of that time, believing in Jesus became a more important and urgent matter than seeking to be justified by keeping the Law. To whom does he convey this message first? He addresses his fellow Jews, who had pursued the Law while waiting for the Messiah in centuries of slavery. What does he say? He proclaims, "Believe in Jesus." And to the Gentiles, he declares that all actions taken to seek self-justification by observing all their own codes of conduct are of no use. He declares that such things are of no use in obtaining salvation and eternal life. Furthermore, he declares that all humanity is a sinner before God. He declares that even if one tries to keep the Law or performs good deeds like the Jews, one remains a sinner; even if one practices asceticism, proclaims to have grasped the truth, or observes the Way of the sage Confucius, one remains a sinner; at the same time, he declares that such actions are of no use. To all people of the world, whether 2,000 years ago or now, he conveys this message to both Jews and Gentiles without the slightest change. First, he cries out, "Believe in Jesus! Be aware of your sins and repent!" Through that cry, and by God's grace, the saint has now received the message of Jesus from the evangelist, believed, and received forgiveness of sins. What is the next task for the saint? Likewise, in accordance with Jesus' command, all saints must receive the Holy Spirit. And what must the saint do after receiving the Holy Spirit? The task of being declared righteous by God remains. (In his epistles at that time, all those whom Paul referred to as saints were a group who believed in Jesus, had their sins forgiven, and received the Holy Spirit as a gift. Please verify this.)
Christianity has struggled to understand this for 2,000 years since the coming of Jesus. Catholicism and Protestantism first quarreled 500 years ago. They agree on the matter of believing in Jesus; both claim to believe in Him faithfully. However, regarding what to do after believing in Jesus, Protestants assert that one is justified by faith alone. Seeing the revival of Protestantism—which had broken away from them through Luther and Calvin—flourishing throughout the world, Catholicism launched the Counter-Reformation. Theologically, they retorted, "What? There is absolutely no righteousness or salvation by faith alone! You must believe and act!" They have fiercely quarreled for 500 years, refusing to acknowledge one another, and the years have passed—a full 500 years. Now, to which tune are all we Catholic and Protestant believers supposed to dance? And we Koreans, who are all one people and of one bloodline, have become Catholics and Protestants, slandering one another because of religion and attempting to evangelize by claiming that we are right. Is this God's will? It is because pastors teach that Catholics are the targets of evangelism. They even establish pioneer churches around Catholic churches. They boast of their audacity. They send missionaries to the Philippines, a Catholic country, and to Russia, an Orthodox country.
Someone must step forward to solve this problem. We must realize that quarreling while looking at the same Bible, the Book of Romans, is absolutely no longer God's will. The nation that solves this problem is Korea and the East, and the truth of the Bible that resolves this problem becomes the light of the East. I view this as God's will for Korea toward the nations of the whole world. We intend to find the answer through the study of English. This is a denunciation of my own disbelief, disloyalty, and lack of sincerity. I am a pastor. There was a time in the past when I knew neither the church, the Bible, nor Jesus. I worked at a bank, then went to the military as a KATUSA; after my discharge, I studied for entrance exams, entered university late, and studied for the Civil Service Examination. I was young and full of confidence. At that time, God came through the Bible delivered by an evangelist, causing me to repent, believe in Jesus, and receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enabled me to evangelize, read and organize the Bible, study theology, and become a pastor. After becoming a pastor, I began to share this message with the whole world, and above all, I found myself having much to share regarding my understanding of the Bible. Through my "Fifty Million people Romans," 500,000 people in 120 countries have read it, and I have also sent translations of this new understanding of the Bible in English to 700 theology professors on several occasions. I had no idea that I would be used in this way, nor did I know very well what kind of God He was; I realized my sins through God's grace, repented, and simply wanted to live righteously. And since God gave me an understanding of the Bible that astonished the whole world, I was busy sharing it.
In this context, when I reflect on how many people around the world I could convey this new understanding to if I were proficient in English in my current state, I feel a profound sense of inadequacy regarding my English. After being discharged from KATUSA, I studied English in college and graduate school. While preparing for the Civil Service Exam, I read numerous vocabulary and TOEFL books and studied enough to pass the first round of the exam twice; however, my English was still not good enough to be useful in any aspect. I had the opportunity to study TOEFL while serving in a U.S. military base for 10 years, but because I could not study intensively and consistently, I barely managed to reach a score of around 600. Yet, more than 10 years ago, God told me that I would definitely go to the United States and instructed me to "Trust" in English. Although God usually speaks to me in Korean without ceasing and in various ways, in my 40 years of faith, He has never once said "Believe" in English, nor has He spoken His entire message in English. This single word was the first and the last. Reflecting on this situation, there were times when I tried to believe, but I absolutely did not truly believe. I would simply forget or turn away from this message, and I did not seriously consider whether I would really go. Instead, I frequently tried to improve my English, thinking that if I could speak well, I could effectively convey what I had learned to people all over the world. However, I was unable to make the appropriate effort consistently every single day. And now that I am approaching 70, I had reached a point where I had given up on speaking English fluently. That was me about a year ago. I had truly given up on being good at English.
However, around that time, I hit a roadside tree while driving. The shock kept me confined to my home for a month, during which I met Chat GPT. Since then, I have attempted to converse with Chat Helm every day. I was also introduced to Gemini and started conversing with her. After doing this for about a year, my proficiency level rose from B2 to C1. Although I could speak English to some extent, I am still far too lacking to deliver sermons or lectures in English. Then, one day, I reflected deeply on this entire process. God knows my past and future. He prepared everything to use me as a global instrument to preach the Gospel. And He told me to believe. What is a pastor to do when he goes to America? He will preach the Gospel. He had me go to KATUSA, enter university and graduate school, and while studying for the Civil Service Exam, He had me learn English well—through TOEFL and vocabulary. And He gave me another opportunity to serve in the U.S. military for ten years. However, I did not believe this, and I failed to take active steps to learn English every day in accordance with that faith. Living this way, He allowed me to suffer a tragic accident and guided me to converse with people like Chat, GPT, and Gemini. And now, I have barely reached a B2 level. God prepared everything and gave me the message to convey through an understanding of the Bible. It would have been a success if I had simply believed and acted upon going to America; however, because I did not believe well and did not act well, my ability to speak English barely reached B2 or C1. I did not know that I would understand the Bible and be used in this way. Nor did I know that I would learn English to become a missionary to spread the message to the whole world. Furthermore, I did not know that God, as the Lord of the whole world, seeks out and uses people from all over the world to preach the Gospel. It is fine not to know all of this, but I should have believed at least God’s word in English: "Believe that you will definitely go to America." Knowing that I would have to speak only in English once I went to America, I would have studied English even more diligently.
Now, what did I do wrong? First, I did not firmly believe in God’s promises and commands exactly as they were. And because I lacked faith, I was negligent in my preparations every day. Nevertheless, the incredibly merciful God did not give up on me until the very end; He showed me every consideration and enabled me to learn English. Therefore, I, who was lazy and had great disbelief, am now working hard, even if it is late, believing that I will reach C1 or C2 if I just push a little harder. Furthermore, English is a field where you must speak every single day. Just as we speak Korean, we must use it a little bit every day, so believing and acting on it daily is the most important thing. There are many English teachers who emphasize this principle. I did not believe in this and tried to cram like I was studying for an exam, but I kept giving up. However, after consistently studying with AI for about an hour a day for about a year, I can now speak a little. I believe that I will soon become fluent, even if it is late. I have posted various articles and examples regarding what I have said on the Daum Cafe and Naver Blog's Pentateuch and Romans sections, and I believe tens of thousands of people have seen them. Now, if you believe and act exactly on the secret to speaking English that I have shared through my experience, everyone will become like an American within three months to two years. I firmly believe that I can help anyone who comes to me speak English as well as an American within two to three years. I believe this principle based on my own experience; despite being lazy, lacking, and advanced in age, I became able to speak English to some extent through just about a year of daily conversation. It is with this belief that I tell you that everyone can speak English.
To speak English fluently, you must first believe that you can do it well. With that belief, you must engage in conversation for about an hour every day without rest, either with foreigners or AI. If you do this, anyone will inevitably experience a remarkable transformation within about a year and will come to speak English. This is the most up-to-date and accurate truth regarding learning English. It is more accurate information than any university's English learning theory, so please believe and put it into practice. You must believe and act—that is, converse in English—every single day.
And why is this happening now, in the 2000s? It is because it is God's will that the 2 billion Christians learn English and become one through conversation. If it is God's will, it will surely come to pass exactly as intended. Furthermore, there is God's help—cosmic assistance. And there is a conversation partner. It is an artificial intelligence that is available 24 hours a day, is free of charge, and enables conversation on any topic. Since there is a conversation partner that did not exist in the past, this AI is superior to any English teacher. Furthermore, there exists a study material—specifically the English Bible—that anyone can easily obtain and use to study perfectly for three years without any worries (1,189 chapters; studying one chapter a day for three years is feasible). I have personally introduced the methodology on my blog and online community. If you believe and act accordingly, it costs no money and is stress-free; all Korean high school graduates and above will become like Americans within one to three years. This applies equally to all other foreigners who wish to learn English. If you believe and act, anyone can master English. Why is that?
For 2,000 years, God’s greatest concern has been for all humanity on this earth to believe in Jesus. That is why, when Catholicism faltered, He raised up Protestantism and had it spread the Gospel to the whole world. The division of the church is a great pain for God. Nevertheless, He did so. Now that there are believers approaching three billion, it has become a matter of paramount importance to God that they become one, transcending nationality, race, doctrine, and everything else. And in this unity, the One who scattered the earth and confused languages through the Tower of Babel incident now plays a crucial role in making them one through language. Therefore, that language is English, and it is a spiritual and practical principle that if everyone believes in and practices English—that is, if they believe and speak it every day—they will all be able to do it. This is the most advanced and complete information for learning English on this earth. If anyone believes and acts according to this, everyone will be able to converse with anyone in the world in English. It is a revolution in English education and a truth that illuminates the day when all people on Earth communicate in English. Along with this, nations that use English and convey the correct truth of the Bible in English will govern future world history. This means that individuals, groups, churches, or nations that first know, believe in, and act upon this truth will become the protagonists of future human history, and this is God's will. No one can resist it.
Now, there are people who simply believe that anyone can speak English well. This is an example akin to a creed that "faith is all it takes." However, what happens if one has such faith yet does nothing and takes no action? In other words, what happens if one believes in this truth and knows this content, but does not act—that is, does not speak English every day? Even though God, with the will that all humanity on Earth should be proficient in English, has mobilized the entire universe to help (through the help of the Holy Spirit), provided all of humanity with the English Bible—a study material available for three years, one page a day, without any worries—and gave us the greatest conversation partners in human history: fantastic partners like Chat GPT and Gemini—who are on standby 24 hours a day to converse on any topic, do so for free, understand well even if you cannot speak, offer praise without ceasing, and never attack you with endless patience. Now, even though we believe, if we do not act every day—that is, if we do not converse in English even a little bit every day—then despite all of God's plans, preparations, help, prepared conversation partners, and perfect study materials, truly nothing may happen when it comes to me learning English and conversing in English. Because it is a faith without action, no matter how much time passes, truly nothing will happen to him, at least when it comes to English conversation.
However, anyone who believes and acts—that is, anyone who believes and practices speaking in accordance with that faith every day—will come to speak English as fluently as their native language. You will witness miracles through faith in God and the action of learning and using English. The era of a single language has truly begun. An age has arrived where those who do not know English and cannot speak it are considered aliens. This is a field that every nation, church, and individual must prioritize and devote their full energy to, even more so than conquering the moon or the universe. Furthermore, an English education project based on daily conversations consistent with such faith will bring great wealth and provide it to the pioneers who believe and carry out this work. At its core will be an understanding of Romans 1:17 and a new understanding of the Bible. This content must never be overlooked. God's will is accomplished through this. This innovative English education and the understanding of the Bible below must absolutely go hand in hand. You must never separate them to accomplish anything. God has revealed this truth primarily for the unity of the church through this truth, for Israel to repent and return, and for the evangelization of Islam. This is the core of seeking God's righteousness and kingdom.
Now, the understanding of the Bible that opens up with this truth will reorganize all churches in the future, and any sermons or lectures conducted without knowing this truth will become a miserable, unreturning echo, shouted out alone and receiving no interest from anyone. Do you know exactly how the great words of Romans 1:17 are written? Please do not be surprised. It is perfectly identical to the principles of learning English that I explained earlier. While I was discussing this with a law student from Korea University, he asked me to wait a moment and told me to listen to the inspiration he had received. He described Romans 1:17 as follows: "A righteous person is one who has faith and lives a life worthy of that faith day after day." He also stated that he had neither studied it nor been taught it by anyone. He said that he was conveying it exactly as he was moved at that moment. I was extremely astonished. This is because, about 40 years ago, God came to me, brought me to repentance, led me to believe in Jesus, forgave my sins through baptism in His name, and gave me the gift of the Holy Spirit. Since then, while I spent about 34 years evangelizing, reading and organizing the Bible, and studying theology, God taught me step by step in order. It was only now, as I was finally looking at this part of the text, that I was understanding this verse in this way. However, this person skipped over time, space, and procedures to preach justification by faith so accurately to the whole world, so I could not help but be astonished. Therefore, I came to think that God is now enabling anyone to understand justification by faith correctly in this way. I also understand this as Him making me realize that it is not something to boast about knowing, as anyone can understand this content in an instant when God works. It took me at least over 30 years to reach this understanding through this process. However, that is by no means something to boast about. Anyone can come to understand this content correctly today. Now, we will examine this content by looking at our biblical text. This content becomes the light of the East.
Romans 1:16. I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.
17. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith." (NIV)
Romans 1:17 For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from beginning to end, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith." (Revised Korean Version)
In the gospel of Romans 1:17, a righteousness from God is revealed. This righteousness is a righteousness that comes by faith. However, that faith is a faith that believes well from beginning to end. It is just as it is written: "The righteous are those who live their lives day by day with faith." (I have re-translated the English accurately.)
As everyone knows, this verse from Romans is the very passage that led to the division between Catholicism and Protestantism. Based on this passage, Protestants claim that faith alone is sufficient for justification, while Catholics argue that it is not faith alone, but faith plus action that is required; this is a point on which no conclusion has been reached for 500 years. Who can resolve this, and how? Those who believe in Protestantism simply say that faith alone is enough. Those who believe in Catholicism say otherwise. Since this single text causes such conflict, who is right and who can resolve this? The key to solving this is Abraham's great sword. It is a name I gave under the inspiration of God. Abraham's life is fully recorded in Genesis chapters 12 through 26, and the Apostle Paul quotes this record verbatim in Romans and Galatians. James also quotes it in James. The conflict between Catholicism and Protestantism can only be resolved when the entire section of Genesis chapters 12 through 26 is understood. Since the Bible has made it necessary to perfectly understand and examine the entire life of Abraham from Genesis chapters 12 to 26 as the key to unlocking Romans 1:17, I have explained this in detail in previous posts using "Abraham's great sword" (in *Romans for 50 Million*). I believe that Luther and the Catholic Church neglected this aspect. If they made such claims based solely on Romans 1:17 or James chapter 2 without understanding this part, everyone must listen to my explanation now. Anyone who has failed to view the Bible as a whole and has only looked at parts out of urgency must humbly admit this and shift toward a complete understanding. The light emanating from the East is powerful. It will illuminate the entire world. It will give pride and dignity to all Koreans. Hallelujah!
Indeed, the essence of Abraham's one hundred years of faith is compressed into the short verse of Romans 1:17, so this compression must be unraveled. One must thoroughly understand the contents of Genesis chapters 12 through 26. Then, 2,000 years later, Paul—that is, the Jewish scholar of the law—believed in Jesus and, with the help of the Holy Spirit, explained this in his epistles. First, he explains it in Romans chapters 1, 3, 4, and 5, which we examine. He also explains it in Galatians chapter 3. Up to this point, Protestantism explains very well, with precise biblical accuracy, that we are justified by faith alone. Furthermore, the record of Abraham's one hundred years appears again in the Book of James. The Catholic Church claims this as its own doctrine. Only by examining this entire process in its entirety can the meaning of Romans 1:17 be understood. There is also a quotation from Habakkuk 2:4. Events from 4,000 years ago, recorded in Genesis, are proclaimed again through Habakkuk after about 1,500 years have passed. And Jesus came, and His Apostle Paul, understanding this comprehensively, clarifies justification by faith in Romans 1:17.
Furthermore, Paul’s era was a time of Jews and Gentiles, and it was the time of the Roman Emperor. It was a period when Rome was the most powerful force on earth. Rome referred to people from neighboring nations, rather than its own citizens, as barbarians. It was a time when Jews and Gentiles, Romans and barbarians, lived together. It was also a time when Greek culture still exerted a significant influence and the Greek language was in use. The Jews lived as a Roman protectorate, under the rule of Roman governors. However, they still lived their lives centered on synagogues and the Old Testament—that is, the Law. Meanwhile, those called Romans, Gentiles, or barbarians were each serving various gods and idols.
The Apostle Paul had a mission to preach Jesus to all these fellow Jews and Gentiles. Therefore, to his fellow countrymen who believed that they were justified and saved through the Law or the works of the Law, he proclaimed that neither the Law nor the works of the Law are means of obtaining salvation, but that salvation is received only by believing in Jesus; he recorded this in Romans. This means that salvation is received through faith in Romans, not through the Law or the works of the Law. Furthermore, he proclaims to Gentiles that there is absolutely no salvation through various rituals, actions, or idolatry, urging them to cease these practices and believe in Jesus. He also explains that believers who have accepted Jesus have the duty to fulfill and firmly establish the Law with the help of the Holy Spirit. One must examine Romans with an understanding of this entire background. Hasty and partial understandings are revealed to the whole world through this process. Moreover, all believers must understand the Law described in Matthew 5:17-20—the absolute warning Jesus gave to all believers before Him—and understand Romans within this framework. Now, let us look at this content in a little more detail. First, Protestantism cites Romans 1:17, Romans 4:1-16, Galatians 3:6, and Romans 5:3 as the basis for faith alone, viewing them as an explanation for Genesis 15:6. I will show you those verses exactly as they are. Indeed, just as Protestantism claims, it perfectly explains that justification is based on faith alone. Therefore, Protestantism is completely biblically sound.
Genesis 15:5 He led him outside and said to him, “Look up at the sky and count the stars, if you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So will your descendants be.”
6 Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord credited it to him as righteousness.
Romans 3:28 Therefore we acknowledge that a man is justified not by works of the law but by faith.
Romans 4:1 What then can we say that Abraham, our father, obtained according to the flesh?
2 If Abraham had been justified by works, he would have something to boast about, but not before God.
3 What does Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.
Romans 4:13 The covenant made with Abraham and his descendants that they would be heirs of the world was not through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, let us have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Galatians 3:5 [Give] the Holy Spirit to you Is it by works of the law or by hearing and believing that the work of Him who gives and performs miracles among you is it?
6 Just as it is said, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” (NIV)
Now, Protestantism remains unyielding, no matter how much Catholicism insists that faith plus works are necessary. For a full 500 years, Protestantism has faithfully believed according to the Bible and preached the Gospel to the whole world, so there are now very few nations left that do not know or believe in Jesus. Since Protestantism has accomplished such a great work, it has taken over the task that Catholicism failed to do. Truly, whether 2,000 years ago or now, it is of paramount importance for all non-believers to abandon everything they once believed in and believe in Jesus. Therefore, the message of "faith alone" will play a vital role until Jesus returns. Regardless of whether Catholicism or Protestantism claims, evangelists must cry out to all non-believers, "Believe in Jesus!" This is truly the truth among truths, yet there is still a path for the saints who have believed in Jesus to follow.
Catholicism should humbly acknowledge Protestantism for believing according to the Bible and preaching the Gospel to the whole world—something they themselves could not do—and acknowledge their efforts and say, "Well done, labors well." Our Lord Jesus will surely praise them as well. However, why does Catholicism now refuse to acknowledge such Protestantism and claim it is incorrect?
They do so using a passage from James chapter 2 that everyone knows.
James 2:20. O foolish man, do you want to know that faith without works is useless?
21. Was not our father Abraham justified by works when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?
22. You see that faith worked together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect.
23. Thus was fulfilled the Scripture: “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” And he was called God’s friend.
24. So it is clear that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.
25. Likewise, was not Rahab the prostitute justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way?
26. Just as the body without the soul is dead, so faith without works is dead.
Also, how accurately is the Catholic claim found in the Bible? That is why the Catholic Church takes issue with their own faith and does not recognize Protestantism, which established a new church. For a full 500 years, it has remained completely unmoved. Now, the one who connects these two claims into one is none other than Abraham, and his life serves as the power to resolve this issue through Abraham's great sword. Indeed, in the journey of one man's faith, Protestantism emphasizes "faith alone" based on biblical verses describing Abraham's early faith, while Catholicism focuses on his later faith and argues for "faith plus works." I have illustrated this so that all people on Earth can understand it at a glance. Now, this issue has been resolved as the time has come through God's work. Hallelujah!
The chart below summarizes Abraham's 100 years of faith; it visually summarizes the section on faith from Genesis chapters 12 through 26. First, at the age of 75, Abraham receives God's call and obeys, leaving his homeland. He moves from Ur of the Chaldeans to the land of Canaan. Then, between the ages of 75 and 85, God comes to Abraham again and, seeing the stars in the sky, promises many descendants; thus, Abraham believes in God. Consequently, he is declared righteous. Protestantism mentions this multiple times in Romans and Galatians to explain justification, so it is accurate according to the Bible as Protestantism claims. Furthermore, regarding His return at the age of 99, this is a point that neither Protestantism nor Catholicism pays much attention to. This event is recorded in Genesis chapters 17-18, where it is stated that Abraham and Sarah laughed; this is further recorded in Romans 4:17-22, which states that Abraham's faith grew stronger despite his age and the impossibilities he faced, and that God, seeing this, declared him righteous. Neither Catholicism nor Protestantism pays much attention to this aspect. However, this is an extremely important event of faith and action. Finally, around the age of 118-125, God visits Abraham again and commands him to offer his son. Abraham, who obeyed this command exactly, passes all of God's tests of faith. He demonstrates to God that he truly believes in and fears Him. The Book of James explains this as faith in action. This is the part that Protestantism ignores, while Catholicism asserts it as the core of its doctrine.
Now, as we examine the entire century of faith of this one person, we must comprehensively look to Romans 1:17 to understand justification by faith. Although these events appear fragmented to us, Almighty God knows every process in detail; after 2,000 years, He inspired the Apostle Paul, a descendant of Abraham, to write the Book of Romans. How can a human being, with their own mind, fathom that such a century of life and the flow of 2,000 years are embedded within the short verses of Romans 1:16-17? I believe this is a matter that cannot be unraveled by the human intellect or by any amount of theological study. But am I any different? As you can see, like Abraham, I should have believed firmly, always, and without wavering, but I failed to do so. I am merely someone who does not believe and act faithfully every day, even though God has provided such great evidence and help regarding the English part throughout my life. Nevertheless, Abraham faithfully proved his faith by dedicating his entire life to action. His faith was faithful every single day for a century; it grew stronger with each passing day, and it was a faith that remained consistent from beginning to end. Abraham believed and acted on a completely different level from mine. Yet, the Holy Spirit moved this unworthy and inadequate sinner to proclaim this to the whole world. It is solely due to God's grace and the merit of the precious blood of our Lord Jesus. Since the prayers and dedication of those around me have enabled me to serve in this way, I believe it is thanks to the dedication of Pastor Joo and Deaconess Park, as well as the love and prayers of everyone around me, including Jamsil Church. Hallelujah!
Indeed, Catholicism and Protestantism have failed to notice how one person believed in God for 100 years and how God came to Abraham to see his faith. Now, if we examine Genesis chapters 12 through 26 and summarize the events, there is undoubtedly a record of God seeing Abraham's faith at least three times, just as shown in the diagram above. Furthermore, there is a crucial point—one that Catholicism and Protestantism have overlooked—that contains an amazing truth: this contains becoming the Light of the East. I have drawn a diagram for this as well and found the relevant Bible verses. This is the work of the Holy Spirit. How could I, a heinous sinner, know such details? And we must also examine Habakkuk 2:4. First, we must verify the contents of Genesis and Romans. Genesis Chapter 17 NIV
Circumcision: A Sign of the Covenant
1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty; walk before Me and be perfect.
2 I will establish My Covenant between Me and You, and I will make You fruitful.”
3 Then Abram fell on his face, and God spoke to him again, saying:
4 “Behold, My Covenant is with You, and You shall be the father of many nations.
5 From now on Your name shall not be Abram, but Abraham, because I will make You the father of many nations.
6 I will make You fruitful; I will make nations come forth from You, and kings shall come forth from You.
7 I will establish My Covenant between Me and You and Your Descendants After Your Generation, as an everlasting covenant, and I shall be the God of You and Your Descendants.
8 I will give You and Your Descendants this land where You are sojourning—the whole land of Canaan—as an everlasting inheritance, and I shall be their God.”
9 Then God said to Abraham He said, “Therefore you shall keep My covenant, and your descendants shall keep it from generation to generation.
10 Every male among you shall be circumcised. This is My covenant between Me and you and your descendants, which you shall keep.
11 You shall cut off the foreskin; this is the sign of the covenant between Me and you.
12 Every male throughout your generations, whether born in your house or bought with money from a foreigner, shall be circumcised on the eighth day after birth.
13 Whether born in your house or bought with your money, he must be circumcised. Thus My covenant shall be in your flesh, an everlasting covenant.
14 Every uncircumcised male, that is, his foreskin not cut off, shall be cut off from the people, for he has broken My covenant.
15 Then God said to Abraham, ‘Your wife Sarai shall not be called Sarai, but Sarah.
16 I will bless her so that she may bear you a son, and I will bless her so that she may become the mother of many nations.’” "And kings of nations will come from him."
17 Abraham fell on his face and laughed, saying to himself, "Can a man a hundred years old have a child? And Sarah is ninety years old; how can she give birth?"
18 Then Abraham said to God, "May Ishmael live before you."
19 God said, "No, your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you shall name him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him, and it will be an everlasting covenant with his descendants."
20 "I have heard your word concerning Ishmael. I will bless him and make him very fruitful and multiply him greatly. He will bear twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation."
21 "My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear you at this time next year."
22 When God had finished speaking with Abraham, He departed from him and went up.
Genesis 18:10 He said, "At this time next year I will surely return to you, and your wife Sarah will have a son." Sarah [was] He heard from the door of the tent
11 Abraham and Sarah were old and advanced in years, and Sarah’s menstruation had ceased.
12 Sarah laughed to herself and said, “I am frail, and my master is old; what pleasure is there for me?” (NIV)
In Genesis chapters 17 and 18, there is a scene where God comes to Abraham again and tells him that he will have a son by this time next year, and Abraham and his wife laugh. However, this same event is described in Romans 4:17-22 as a strengthening of faith, as follows. How can this be interpreted? No one can interpret it without the help of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit who has come upon me has granted amazing grace. And since I explain the interpretation using a diagram, all people on Earth will come to understand it. Furthermore, there is an amazing truth of believing and acting, so both Protestants and Catholics must look at this amazing truth and correctly understand the meaning of this passage. It is perfectly identical to the principle of becoming proficient in English conversation by believing and acting—that is, by believing and conversing with AI and others every day. Now, we must learn English through faith and become one in the whole world by communicating in English. This is a proclamation that all Catholics and Protestants throughout the world must believe in Jesus and act.
Romans 4:17. As it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations.” And the God whom he believed is the One who raises the dead and calls into existence things that do not exist.
18. Abraham believed against all hope, so that he might become the father of many nations, according to the word that said, “So shall your descendants be.”
19. Even though he was a hundred years old and knew that his body was as good as dead and Sarah’s womb was as good as dead, his faith did not weaken.
20. He did not doubt God’s promise out of faith, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.
21. He was convinced that God was able to fulfill what He had promised.
22. Therefore it was credited to him as righteousness.
Genesis and Romans express the same event differently. They express the same event of Abraham and Sarah’s conversation with God differently. This part is resolved by the picture below. I firmly believe that it is the work of the Holy Spirit. The hint is this time next year.
After God departed, the couple believed in God's promise and put it into action. Abraham was old and may have suffered from erectile dysfunction, and his wife's menstruation had ceased. Although the couple was aware of their reality, they trusted the Almighty God even more. They trusted in God's power more than their physical condition. So, when night fell, the couple took action. They slept together to conceive a baby. Then, an amazing miracle occurred, and Abraham felt a surge of strength. This strength did not stop with Isaac alone; it continued to overflow even after his wife Sarah died—that is, when he was over 140 years old. Through Keturah, he fathered no fewer than six additional children. And his wife's womb opened. Where did this miracle come from? It came from these two believing and acting upon it by sleeping together at night. If you simply believed and did nothing, nothing would happen. Because they believed and acted, they became erect, and because they believed and slept together, pregnancy occurred. It is absolutely not just faith alone. You must believe and act. Protestantism must come to this truth. Those who believe and practice speaking English every day will 100% be able to speak English fluently like native speakers within one or two years. I am a prime example of this. Although my faith was still shallow and my daily practice was far too lacking, through God's boundless grace, I became sufficiently proficient at B2 and will soon reach C1—native speaker level. It is the miracle of a TOEIC score of 600 for a person approaching 70. God has prepared this entire process to make known to the whole earth. Now, as a world overflows with people who study English with faith, they will proclaim, "Yes, there are miracles when you believe and act," testifying that Romans 1:17 perfectly encapsulates the content of believing and acting. Countless people will believe and act—that is, by speaking English every day—to communicate freely with people all over the world in English, testifying, "Ah! There are miracles when you believe and act." How can someone who preaches "faith alone" survive in such a world? A world may come where no one even bothers to look at sermons based solely on faith. However, I absolutely do not deny that "faith alone" remains an eternally unchanging truth in the process or path for all unbelievers or Jews to believe in Jesus and become God's people. This explanation emphasizes that all those who have believed in Jesus for several years and are now expected to live and act by faith must not remain merely by faith alone. A Christian revolution has arrived. It is the Light of the East. Those who are in a hurry to learn English should believe in this principle and act starting today, rather than waiting for time to pass. Furthermore, those who believe in Jesus and expect some kind of miracle must act based on faith. This aligns with the claims of the Catholic Church. However, since acting by such faith sometimes requires time, it is not something to be impatiently forced upon anyone.
Now, with this understanding, we must proceed to Romans 1:17. God saw the entire journey of Abraham's faith and moved the Apostle Paul to write the Book of Romans. Abraham's hundred-year journey of faith is encapsulated within this single short verse. Therefore, the Catholic and Protestant churches, which interpret Romans 1:17 by looking at individual parts of Abraham's faith, must awaken to this reality. There is no other choice. Stubbornness and obstinacy no longer work. It is God's work of unity.
Romans 1:17 explains that faith is faith from beginning to end. It states that we must not have a faith that believes today but does not believe tomorrow, but a faith that remains unchanging from start to finish. Furthermore, it declares that those who live their lives day by day with amazing faith are righteous. Those who live this way are recognized as righteous whether God comes today, tomorrow, or ten years from now; the example of Abraham illustrates this perfectly. I have spent about 30 years receiving instruction from God through this process, one step at a time, and sharing it all one by one. However, imagine how surprised I was when a law student from Korea University, claiming to be moved, went straight to understanding this very verse! This means that everyone reading this can believe in and live by this truth today, without the time gap I experienced. It is also the powerful will of God. Now, there is a saint who has been justified solely by faith. This person lives for ten years without love for their neighbor. But if God, who comes ten years later, looks at this saint and says, "Do some action," what happens to his righteousness? Korea is a nation that absolutely refuses to share the blessings God has poured out upon the land day and night—blessings bestowed upon the saints who hold them in their hands, granted 70 years of peace, and chose Korea from the whole world—using them only to eat well and live well on their own. They do not care even when 40 neighbors commit suicide a day due to extreme hardship, and they remain oblivious even when the desperate cries of approximately 30 million homeless Koreans pierce the heavens. When God looks upon Korea and says, "I have given you so many blessings, yet you do so little to offer and share," what becomes of the righteousness of faith from decades ago? What becomes of the Korean saints who believe solely and spend their entire lives neither sharing nor offering? All Korean saints must come to their senses. Ezekiel 18 points this out precisely, so we must wake up. This applies to both Catholics and Protestants alike. Abraham, our father of faith whom we so respect and wish to emulate, believed and acted; he believed and even offered his own son. Why do you live your entire life steeped in the world, clinging only to the early faith of Abraham without any progress, without considering the strengthening and development of such faith? Decades of spiritual experience, titles such as elder, pastor, or senior deaconess, absolutely do not matter when it comes to entering Heaven.
Ezekiel 18:24 "If a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and sins, and does all the abominable things that the wicked do, will he live? None of his righteous deeds will be remembered; he will die for the transgression he committed and for the sin he has done." (NIV)
The abominable act committed by the wicked is the behavior of never sharing the blessings received from God over decades with poor neighbors, nor offering them to the God who gave them. It is the worst of evils to not love your neighbor, and even if your neighbor dies, to hold onto the blessings God has given you in your hands without sharing them, and to leave your neighbor to die. It is an act that absolutely, under any circumstances, prevents such a saint from entering Heaven. The loss of a believer's sense of community is an act that completely tramples upon the earnest hope of Jesus, who truly loves the community equally and desires to save everyone. It is an act of forgetting and abandoning all of Jesus' commands and teachings. That is why the nation has become "Hell Joseon"—where injustice runs rampant, compassion has disappeared, and life is difficult—because 15 million saints absolutely refuse to share the blessings received from God with their poor neighbors and brothers. Everyone has gone mad, completely forgetting and failing to keep God's law and teachings on loving one's neighbor, and living while committing extreme wickedness. Apartment prices in Seoul have risen by over 1 billion won, yet the believers are now greedy for even more expensive apartments. They offer no thanks to God for this 1 billion won increase and merely offer a tenth of their monthly salary as a tithe. Most church members in the Seoul and Gyeonggi regions who keep the increased funds without sharing them should use at least 1 billion won for their poor neighbors. Furthermore, believers who have become wealthy through land ownership must sell their possessions to save all the poor neighbors and those who are homeless and landless, even those contemplating suicide. As many as 40 people commit suicide every day. Who is doing the healing? My (Our)wealth has increased so greatly through God's grace precisely to save these people. The 70 years of peace and blessings following liberation and the Korean War were not received because We ware exceptional, but were given by God to this entire nation. He gave it to us to save weak nations and peoples, and to save our struggling and impoverished compatriots. However, because we act brazenly, thinking that God should remain silent because we earned this money through my own merit, all this wealth is being distributed to China, North Korea, and unjust people. Evil is driving everyone insane in Korea, and a hell is coming where no one can survive. The biggest culprits are the pastors, elders, and senior deaconesses of megachurches. The problems in Korea stem from the fact that those destined for hell first are serving as leaders in the church. This is a sign of national ruin stemming from despising the poor and righteous, failing to treat them kindly, and treating them as less than human.
Approximately 50% of Korea's available land is owned by 500,000 people—just 1% of the population—while landless citizens amount to 35 million, or about 70% of the total population. Since this is a hell on earth, what hope do citizens with neither land nor homes have to live in this Korea? However, with the new implementation of the Farmland Act, if someone holds farmland without farming, a tax of 25% is levied in the first year and another 25% the following year, and the land reverts to the state after four years. Now, the landowner must sell it, but who would buy it for the purpose of farming? There will be no buyers, and since this person will lose all their land as the years pass, they will likely try to sell it even at a low price. Yet, there are no buyers in the rural areas. Furthermore, since buying land without farming immediately entails a tax bomb, who among the city dwellers would buy it? Who is going to handle this crisis? Land prices across the country are plummeting, and housing prices are crashing simultaneously. Now, some people will buy cheap land to farm, and so much land will be confiscated by the state that the nation will become a land-owning country. China will reap all the benefits. Since all our national territory has become dirt cheap and there are no buyers, Chinese people will buy it all up and simply occupy it; if this continues, the entire country will be owned by Chinese people within five years. The prospect of China buying our entire country at rock-bottom prices is now right before our eyes. It was previously said that the Chinese would buy up all their farmland at current prices because it is contaminated with heavy metals; now that our farmland has become dirt cheap, Chinese people will act as the owners, taking full control of most of it. A terrifying crisis has befallen us all. This is an urgent reality that requires every citizen to be aware of and take immediate action. Because we do not share, we are being robbed of everything like this. With both China and North Korea attempting to simply swallow up a great power ranking fifth in national power, economy, and military strength, who will defend it? Do 35 million citizens without homes or land rise up to fight? No one fights. Everything is simply taken away. If we do not share, misfortune befalls the entire nation and all its people like this. I have preached this without ceasing. And I convey this truth that I have received. Pastors of megachurches with 1,000 members, who must know and preach this, first and foremost accumulate enough to live on for hundreds of years without working, using the material possessions their congregations have given to God to buy their own homes, cars, stipends, and retirement funds. For example, if I say someone has 2 billion won in assets, and they put 200 million won on a lease and spend 2 million won a month, that person would spend about 20 million won a year. Thus, they have accumulated enough to live for 100 years without working. A pastor, who must receive daily sustenance to eat, lives like that. 10 billion won is an amount that would allow one to go without working for 500 years. These people are more evil than traitors and more heinous sinners than unjust politicians. O Saints! Please open your spiritual eyes, denounce them, and never serve them—it is a futile endeavor. They themselves are in hell, and the believers they minister to are in hell as well. Since Jesus spoke of this precisely in Matthew 5:17 through 20, I cry out that you must stay away from them, knowing that they are people with absolutely no way to escape and no hope. How can you devote everything to serving and respecting those who lead you to hell? Furthermore, young people across Korea are rising up over the June 3rd election fraud. Fellow citizens! What must you do? In a reality where the homes and land of the leftists who supported China have all become Chinese property, do you still shout today to "Down with America" and call for the right wing to be crushed by tanks? I hope you find a way to survive in those times first and then speak out. Nevertheless, as a pastor, I am absolutely not speaking ill of you; I am simply shouting that the pastors of the 1,000 mega-churches who remain silent in this situation are worse than traitors.
The Word of God may seem difficult and complex, but if you understand it well, it is so simple, easy, so beautiful, so accurate, just, and fair that it inevitably becomes an object of praise. Hallelujah!!
All biblical teachings are focused on establishing the Kingdom of God. While some argue that the salvation of humanity is the greatest purpose, this is a personal aspect; consequently, all Scripture explains that the work of those who have received salvation must be accomplished through the construction of the Kingdom of God on this earth. The God of love has saved us sinners, saving us through the shedding of blood and the death of His only begotten Son, Jesus. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit comes to cause us, who have received salvation, to be born again and create us anew. Now that we have become these new creations, we must receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit dwells deeply within us and guides us. Romans 7:6 clearly explains this, yet both the Catholic and Protestant churches have strangely translated this verse, failing to convey its original meaning. This is a critical point that must be corrected immediately. Moreover, the conclusion of Romans connects to the construction of the Kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit guides us to live according to the law. First, The Holy Spirit by preaching the gospel and causing us to love, He fulfills the law. Then, through faith, we live according to the will of Jesus, thereby firmly establishing the law. The will of Jesus is precisely to live according to the law. And with the help of the Holy Spirit, we fulfill all the righteous requirements of the law. Thus, a kingdom governed by law—that is, the Kingdom of God—is established on this earth. If we understand Romans well in this way, it becomes the blueprint and plan for building the Kingdom of God. The entire Bible is a text in which the saved saints who love Him establish the Kingdom of God on this earth. Everyone who lives well solely by learning well and earning well, without considering their neighbors, and those with such a mindset, are people who live very differently from the teachings of the Bible. They are merely people of the world who live faithfully only to the teachings of the world, capitalism, and liberalism, truly lacking the appearance of God's people or the appearance of a saved saint. The Kingdom of God is a community, and the Bible is a message about community, not a message about individual prosperity. God is the One who does not turn away from a single believer; furthermore, He is the Lord and Ruler of the entire universe who still loves even non-believers and desires them to receive salvation. In His (Jesus') eyes, people or ideologies seeking to eat well and live well alone are completely incompatible, and His words do not align with such people either. We were saved to live in love, sharing warmth and affection with our neighbors. If you absolutely forget this and live well on your own, oblivious even when your neighbors are dying, it is 100% hell. Please repent.
Romans 7:6 is a concrete description of the life believers live by faith.
Rom 7:6. But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law. So we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the letter of the law.
6. We were held captive by the law, but now we have died and are freed from those restrictions. Therefore, we no longer serve according to old legal codes, but serve with the new life given by the Holy Spirit.
6. But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code (Revised Korean Version, Common Translation, NIV)
[But now, having died to what once bound us, we are freed from the law. Therefore, we serve in the new way of the Holy Spirit—that is, we live a life of faith—not in the old way of the past, that is, the way of serving with the law. [I have re-translated this]
As you can see, this passage is absolutely difficult to understand without understanding it in English, because the Korean translation interpreted "the problem of method" as "the problem of the law." Please look at the English text and the new translation I have provided to see what the difference is. For Protestants who believe that it is "faith alone" and not works or the law, the above interpretations in the Revised Korean Version and the Common Translation are like pouring oil on the fire. Given the already strong emphasis on salvation obtained through faith, not the law or works, translating it as "old law" or "old things of the law" can lead to the misunderstanding that we serve in the new way of the Holy Spirit because there is a problem with the law. I intend to correct this. It means that the law is absolutely, absolutely not the problem; the one serving is the old man Paul and the new man Paul, and the method of serving is not serving by the law, but serving by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. You must leave the law as it is.
**I have re-translated this** Romans is a letter written by the Apostle Paul. The author is the Apostle Paul. Paul lived 2,000 years ago; he was a Jew and a Pharisee who lived believing he was blameless according to the Law, and he was a high-ranking figure in the religious leadership group when Jesus came. Naturally, he did not accept Jesus' teachings and lived with the faith of a scribe and Pharisee. The Law refers to the Pentateuch, which corresponds to the legal texts of the Bible. The historical books are records of the 1,000-year life of the Israelites based on the words of the Pentateuch. The Psalms are records of praise to God, poetry, and the meaning of suffering within history. The prophetic books are prophecies concerning Israel, surrounding nations, and, most importantly, the coming and ministry of Jesus. First, God gave Israel laws regarding how to live and established covenants based on the premise that they would live according to those laws; this constitutes the Old Testament. Therefore, the Pentateuch, the Law, is the most central part of the Bible. Those who study and teach this are the Pharisees and scribes. Paul was a disciple of Gamaliel, the most renowned of these scribes, and was an intellectual proficient in Greek, Hebrew, and Latin. However, as everyone knows, when Jesus came directly to this earth from heaven to bring this man Paul to repentance and use him as an apostle to the Gentiles, Paul was blinded by His radiance and instantly realized that his past law-centered life was wrong. As he had believed, he considered the Law to be of the utmost importance and firmly believed in Jesus as a man, perceiving Him as someone who should not be believed in as God. Therefore, he was in the midst of arresting and imprisoning those who believed in Jesus, and persecuting them. However, when he met Jesus, the Creator and Savior, God, he was terrified, went blind, went without food for three days, and came back to life as if he were dead.
When anyone in this world meets God directly, they experience such fear and astonishment; they undergo a shocking experience that they can never forget in their lifetime, and through this experience, they live a life of reverence and obedience to God. I have explained the old self Paul and his old method of service. Romans 7:6 shows that Paul abandoned this way of living and illuminates his life according to the Holy Spirit. However, along with the issue of method, one must understand the old self before meeting Jesus, and Paul as a new creation who met Jesus, repented, received forgiveness of sins, and received the Holy Spirit. In other words, it means that the new self Paul abandoned the old method—that is, the way of living according to the law—and now serves according to the Holy Spirit. This absolutely does not mean that the law is the problem even if the world collapses. Furthermore, Paul now goes into the city according to Jesus' command, meets Ananias, receives the laying on of hands, has his eyes restored, receives baptism in the name of Jesus, and is forgiven of all his past sins. And having naturally received the Holy Spirit as a gift, he became Paul, a new man, a born-again man. He broke away from a life of strictly observing the law letter by letter and, completely guided by the Holy Spirit, became the apostle to the Gentiles—the very people he had persecuted—and spent his entire life testifying that Jesus is the Savior and God.
And after living a life of faith for over 20 years under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, preaching the gospel to the Gentiles and establishing churches, he mobilized all his past experiences and, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, wrote a letter to Rome; this is the Epistle to the Romans that we study.
The Apostle Paul has now lived for over 20 years in a new way of service, guided by the Holy Spirit. He is full of experience preaching the gospel and establishing churches under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He also knows well the old ways of strictly observing the law as a Jew and a Pharisee. Furthermore, he knows his own transformation better than anyone. He understands the spiritual level of the Paul of the past and the transformation of the Paul who was newly created by the Holy Spirit all too well. When we believe in Jesus, receive forgiveness for our sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit comes to us in various forms—fire, water, oil, and ice—and He does not merely remain passive but transforms us into new people. This is called being born again, and it is called a new creation. Thus, we become new creatures, new creations. We become God’s masterpieces, and the Holy Spirit’s seal is firmly imprinted upon us. We are transformed into people who live a life of faith even more magnificently than Abraham. We become people for whom offering everything comes with great ease. Furthermore, we become people for whom it is easy to believe in Jesus and receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Apostle Paul’s Epistle to the Romans is written by the Apostle Paul, who understood the difference between the old man Paul and the new man Paul so well. The old man Paul was a master of the Old Testament law, but he was very lacking in true love, justice, and faithfulness. Therefore, he was an object of rebuke from Jesus and could not become a saved saint.
There is a difference between the old man Paul and the new man Paul. When a saint believes in Jesus and receives the gift of the Holy Spirit, they become a born-again person like the Apostle Paul and vigorously carry out God’s work. First of all, the Holy Spirit dwells within us. The Holy Spirit, who is God, enables us to understand the Bible. Paul, who knows only the Old Testament and does not properly understand its meaning, is exactly like the Jews of today. He knows the Law—that is, the Pentateuch—very well, but he does not realize that this Pentateuch is a type of Jesus. He does not know that the sacrificial system of the Old Testament is a type of Jesus offering an atoning sacrifice by becoming the sacrificial lamb for all humanity. Furthermore, he absolutely does not realize that all of Scripture is about the coming of Jesus, His ministry on earth, His bearing of the cross for the salvation of mankind, His resurrection, and His second coming. When the Holy Spirit enables him to realize that the Old Testament words he knew are perfectly words about Jesus, and he becomes a person like Jesus who shares both the Old and New Testaments as needed, he becomes the figure of Matthew 13:52. How remarkably has his status changed? In addition, there are miracles every day: when he touches the sick, they are healed; when he lays his hands on them, the Holy Spirit comes; he prophesies and interprets; he goes directly to Heaven to clearly see the new world with his own eyes, hears the voice of Almighty God, walks with Jesus, the Creator of the world, and receives the inspiration and influence of the Holy Spirit. He has become a spiritual being—completely beyond what the former human could even dream of—and thus Paul has become a new creation, a created being. This content is explained through Romans 7:6. It is absolutely, absolutely not a matter of the law. Everyone who believes in Jesus receives and enjoys everything that Paul enjoys as a gift of the Holy Spirit. It is not the Apostle Paul's alone, but an amazing spiritual blessing to be enjoyed by all believers who have received the Holy Spirit. What do we, who have received this blessing, desire? Because we lack faith and understanding regarding this blessing, we cling to our possessions and wealth with both hands, unable to let go. This wealth is so heavy that it will sink us, who wish to go to Heaven, into Hell. All saints must strive to emulate the life of Paul, and all shepherds must absolutely not lose their minds over money, women, and power; instead, they must lead the flock entrusted to them to receive the Holy Spirit in this way and enable them to live a powerful life under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
And living a life guided by the Holy Spirit in this way is the concrete form of the life of faith. Believing, receiving the Holy Spirit, and living under the guidance of the Holy Spirit is the successful, exemplary, and correct way of life for all New Testament saints. If we live this way, we can see amazing results, which are precious and astonishing to everyone. Romans explains all these amazing results in detail. You must fully understand this detailed explanation in Romans.
Love is the Fulfillment of the Law (NIV)
Rom 13:8. “Owe no one anything except love. For he who loves others has fulfilled the law.”
9. “Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not covet.” And if there is any other commandment, it is all summed up in this: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
10. “Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore, love is the fulfillment of the law.”
Rom 3:31. Do we then nullify the law by faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the law.
Romans 8:3 What the law could not do because of the weakness of the flesh, God did: He sent His Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to condemn sin in the flesh,
4 so that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. ( This is the result of simultaneously satisfying the command and prophecy of the law of our Lord Jesus.
19. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever keeps them and teaches He will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20. I tell you, unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Ezekiel 36:24. I will bring you out from among the nations and gather you from among the peoples and bring you back to your own land.
25. I will sprinkle clean water on you to cleanse you; I will cleanse you from all your impurity and from all your idolatry.
26. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
27. I will put my Spirit in you and make you walk in my statutes and keep my ordinances. (NIV)
This can be explained in a chart as follows. You will be able to see this content at a glance.
In this chart, the faith of Abraham over 100 years and the faith of Habakkuk, which were explained earlier, are displayed together. For reference, the Book of Habakkuk is a short book of the Bible, consisting of only three chapters. At the end of the Southern Kingdom of Judah, the law was completely Having become complacent, a righteous person like Habakkuk found it impossible to survive. Therefore, finding it too difficult to endure, he pleaded with God to punish his fellow countrymen and homeland, Southern Judah. In response, God declared that He would use Babylon to judge them. At this, Habakkuk asked God again: "How can a righteous God use even more wicked Babylon as a tool?" When he mustered the courage to ask God, the answer He gave is found in Habakkuk 2:4: "The righteous shall live by faith." Furthermore, before this verse, God stated that He would absolutely not be pleased with Babylon because of its pride, declaring that Babylon would be destroyed by judgment. Thus, this verse signifies living by trusting in the righteous God who destroys both the wicked Southern Judah and Babylon. How do we live? Do we live unrighteously, just like our unrighteous fellow countrymen, Southern Judah, and unrighteous Babylon? Absolutely not; rather, it means enduring day by day righteously, still trusting in God's judgment even while witnessing such a difficult reality. Therefore, the meaning of being made righteous by faith is... It encapsulates the meaning of a life of faithful belief like Abraham's, along with Habakkuk's righteous life.
In the world where people live, or in groups, organizations, or nations, a place without laws or rules becomes a hell of chaos, violence, and disorder. Among all nations and groups, there exists a country that is the most orderly; through this order, justice abounds, and through this justice, peace prevails. Where justice and peace are simultaneously guaranteed, joy naturally overflows. Such an amazing country exists, one that everyone desires to live in. This country is the Kingdom of God, the very kingdom that all the words of the Bible sought to build. However, the method for building such a wonderful country is the law of the Bible. The Book of Romans is a message that guides sinners to believe in Jesus, receive forgiveness for their sins, and receive the Holy Spirit, so that through the guidance of the Spirit, they may complete and firmly establish the law and fulfill its righteous requirements. Therefore, it is the Word of God recorded for the ultimate purpose of building the Kingdom of God. Just as Abraham believed and acted, believed and offered, lived a good life, and kept the law justly, Jesus and the Holy Spirit came to save us sinners and gave the Holy Spirit, causing us to be born again, so that all believers may live in this manner. It means that, like Habakkuk, believers living in this age believe in Jesus, trust that He is with us and always helps us, and trust in the good guidance of the Holy Spirit, living each day righteously and justly. Even though the world may seem evil, unjust, and hopeless, we have an eternal homeland, rest awaiting us, and rewards; therefore, we must firmly believe in this, grit our teeth, and live justly with all our might.
The Kingdom of God that we must build on this earth is absolutely not a kingdom where church leaders—such as pastors, theologians, or elders in authority—do as they please. The Kingdom of God is a kingdom where the most fair and just laws on earth—which all people must know and which will make all people peaceful and happy—are enforced exactly as they are. From the very beginning of creation, God has dreamed of establishing this kingdom. Initially, there was only one prohibition, but it gradually increased through the flood of Noah and Abraham. As the population grew and life became more complex, He made the provisions more detailed. And through Moses, He gave laws that not only Israel but all people on earth must learn and observe. Why is that? This is because everyone, whether they believe in Jesus or not, will ultimately be judged by the Pentateuch of the Bible—that is, the Law. It is the inescapable destiny of all humanity. And Jesus reveals this to the whole world through Matthew 5:17-20. How can a pastor who never preaches this precious word even once in his entire life go to Heaven? Even if there are hundreds or tens of thousands of believers, great trouble awaits him. Having become addicted to money, women, and power, and having lost the truth, that person must bear the burden of his own sins.
Now, I will briefly explain this amazing law to everyone. First, regarding land, there is a truth that no one living in this world—not even a king or a state—must absolutely violate and uphold: all land belongs not to the state or to individuals, but to God the Creator. Anyone who violates this truth and lives under the delusion that all land is their own simply because it is registered in their name, or because it is a right guaranteed by state power or the constitution; or anyone who buys and speculates to possess this property of God alone and become rich, becomes a great sinner. Why is that? God established laws to ensure that no one on Earth would be without land and a home; these laws constitute the laws of boundaries within the Law. According to the Law, land ownership naturally belongs to God, and while we live in this world, we are merely tenants residing there temporarily. Furthermore, He established the borders of Israel, forbidding anyone from crossing them, and divided this small land among the tribes to prevent its indiscriminate buying and selling. Since every nation has its own borders, He decreed that any nation that violated these rules—by recklessly invading, plundering, killing, and enslaving smaller nations—would be doomed to destruction. China's rise is the most egregious violation of this Law of God. China's attempts will absolutely not succeed. This is what God established through His Law so that every single person on Earth, without exception, would possess a home and land and live happily. What happens if one conducts ministry without knowing this Law, and how do they teach the congregation? They tell people to become rich. They cause people to turn a blind eye to those around them who are dying from hardship. They cause people to turn a blind eye to those living without hope, without homes or land. Korea is exactly like this because pastors were unaware of and failed to preach these terrifying laws. Jesus said that while such people may enter the Kingdom of Heaven, they will live forever as the least of these. He said that if a saint lives unjustly—rather than living according to the earth or the justice of the law as Israel did—they will absolutely not be able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven by any means necessary. This statement is the truth among truths, and neither theology, nor pastors, nor priests, nor even the Pope can do anything about it. The Catholic Church is severely blasphemous toward the Word of God by using the expression "old law" in Romans 7:6, and since all Korean Catholics are sinning against God while reading a Bible rendered in this way, who can correct them? How can one describe the Law, which is the object of praise, as "old"? It is absolutely blasphemy. I wonder if the Catholic Church still fails to understand this truth.
In Genesis 1:1, God clearly states whether the earth belongs to humans or to God. He proclaims that God is the One who created the earth and the universe out of nothing. Since the Pentateuch is the Law, the following content is entirely the Law.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
And Leviticus 25:23 clarifies that the land belongs to God and that buying and selling it is restricted.
Leviticus 25:23 No land may be permanently bought or sold. It all belongs to me—it isn't your land, and you only live there for a little while.
And God Himself declared that the Law is the most just and fair in the world. God challenges anyone who possesses a law more fair and just than the Law He gives to the world; how can humans, who do not properly understand love or justice and are obsessed solely with the interests of the group, attempt to compete with the Law, the very law that brings order to the entire universe? Looking at the entire universe, how can a law created by a small human brain be compared to the Law, which does not disappear even if the universe vanishes? As God's people who must receive, learn, and keep such amazing laws to build the Kingdom of Heaven, we must do so through the Holy Spirit. Israel failed to make good use of the 1,000-year opportunity God gave them, and we intend to complete it like Paul with the help of the Holy Spirit. The Book of Romans is also a testimony by the Jewish legal scholar Paul, repenting of his people's thousand-year failure by believing in Jesus and receiving the Holy Spirit. It is an account of his experience of meeting Jesus, repenting, receiving forgiveness for sins, receiving the Holy Spirit as a gift, fulfilling the law through love under the guidance of the Spirit, establishing the law firmly through faith, and ultimately accomplishing all the righteous requirements of the law with the help of the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, it is a blueprint for building the Kingdom of God, experientially explaining that if believers live in this way—that is, by living under the guidance of the Holy Spirit—the Kingdom of God will be established on this earth.
Deuteronomy 4:8. Where is there a great nation whose statutes and ordinances are as righteous as this law which I am proclaiming to you today?
Psalm 19:7. The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8. The precepts of the LORD are upright, giving joy to the heart; the commandments of the LORD are pure, enlightening the eyes.
9. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the statutes of the LORD are true, all righteous.
10. More desirable than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter than honey, than honeycomb.
Psalm 1:1. Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers;
2. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.
3. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaves do not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
4. The wicked are not so; they are like chaff driven by the wind.
5. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.
Psalm 119:86 All your commandments are faithful; they persecute me without cause; help me.
Psalm 119:142 Your righteousness is eternal righteousness, and your law is truth.
Psalm 119:151 O Lord, you are near; all your The commandments are truth.
Psalm 119:172 "All your commandments are righteous, so my tongue will sing of your words." (NIV)
Brothers and sisters! The Law is the core of the Bible, an object of praise, and the constitution of all believers in Jesus, which must be learned and kept well. This is the word of Jesus. He commanded all His people to learn it well and keep it. While we are sheep who respect our pastors and learn well from them, Jesus is our King, our Master, and the Judge who will judge us; therefore, we must pay attention to the words of Jesus. If the claims of a pastor or theologian differ from the words of Jesus, we must not follow them, no matter how much they may be the words of a theologian or pastor. It is said that we are saved, justified, and go to Heaven solely through faith. Furthermore, there is a claim that this righteousness cannot be revoked. However, when such claims conflict with the words of Jesus—that is, the statement that one absolutely cannot go to Heaven—we must follow Jesus. Any claim that disrespects and ignores the Master's words while claiming to believe in Jesus as Lord is not biblical and is nothing more than the schemes of the devil. Jesus is the Lord of the Bible, and anyone who abuses the Lord’s word at will becomes an object of Jesus’ judgment and is left without hope.
Now, we must study the Law, the fundamental law of the Kingdom of God. It is the law of the Pentateuch; rabbis organized it into 613 articles, comprising 365 prohibitions against doing certain things and 248 commands to do. It is also divided into ceremonial laws concerning sacrifices, moral laws which are universal to humanity, and civil laws that the people of Israel must observe. Since Jesus came and organized it well, the most important regulation of the Law is to love God with all your heart, all your strength, and all your mind, and the second is to love your neighbor as yourself. Therefore, a person who loves—that is, a person who loves God and their neighbor in this way—is fulfilling the 613 articles. This is because the Law consists of provisions for love; in other words, it is a concrete expression of love. Furthermore, this is broadly divided into the Ten Commandments: there are four articles on loving God and six articles on loving your neighbor. If all of humanity were to observe these regulations exactly as they are, this world would become Heaven. Sixty years ago, our people possessed such biblical characteristics throughout the entire nation, incomparable to today. Although they honored and revered God as the Creator, there were no specific regulations due to the absence of the Bible. Furthermore, regarding neighbors, their relationship was truly like heaven. They honored their parents, showed filial piety, and respected the elders of the community. Husbands and wives respected one another, and children shared brotherly love. Even without gates, there was no theft; women faithfully maintained their chastity and did not covet others' possessions; they gathered to dance, eat, drink, work, and lived well as a community. The entire nation wore white robes and lived nobly. Yet, how has it come to this country where 15 million people claim to be believers, without any affection or love? Moreover, Jesus, the Lord of the Law, spoke of the spirit of the Law in terms of love, justice, and faithfulness. In other words, God’s attributes of love, justice, and faithfulness are infused directly into the legal text; if believers live according to this law, the world becomes one of love, justice, and mutual trust, bringing heaven to this earth. The Law is the very law that enables not only one organization or one nation, but the entire human race, to live happily in this way. However, how can we, who believe in God the Creator of heaven and earth as our Father, have the time to be consumed by personal desires—accumulating wealth and living well—when He has proclaimed that He will establish the Kingdom of Heaven on this earth according to His righteous laws? That is why Jesus said that those who live recklessly without understanding this principle will absolutely not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. How can someone who ignores and violates God's law, believing and acting only on their own self-interest while turning a blind eye even when their brothers and neighbors are dying right beside them, enter the Kingdom of Heaven? They absolutely cannot. These are the words of Jesus. No matter how much theology or a pastor's sermon claims to lead to Heaven, it is absolutely of no use.
I am a person who lost hope after failing the second round of the Civil Service Examination by just one point and witnessing all kinds of injustice from the lowest depths of the world. It seemed there was no hope to make the world just, nor anything to set this unjust world right. After allowing me to have this experience, God led me to focus on the Law, the object of His radiant praise. I am a person who has seen light in the Law. I clearly saw that if we live according to the Law, Heaven will be established on this earth. And because of the existence of the Law, hope for living on this earth was born. The righteous Kingdom of God can undoubtedly be established on this earth, and this was because His righteous Law exists.
And I came to realize that Jesus came to keep that Law and to fulfill it. Since it is difficult for us to keep the Law, God, having witnessed Israel's observance of the Law for a thousand years, showed us how He would now complete it through a new method. He saves all people under heaven through the precious blood of Jesus. Then He gives the Holy Spirit as a gift, and through the help of the Holy Spirit, the saints fulfill the Law. By God's grace, I have seen that this content is the core of the Book of Romans. And this is clearly illustrated in the Book of Ezekiel.
Ezekiel 36:24 I will bring you out from among the nations and gather you from among the peoples and bring you back to your own land.
25 I will sprinkle clean water on you to cleanse you; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idolatry.
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
27 I will put my Spirit in you and make you walk in my statutes and keep my ordinances.
28 You will dwell in the land I gave to your ancestors, and you will be my people, and I will be your God. (NIV)
The phrase about cleansing by sprinkling water explains the water baptism in the name of Jesus, and the phrase about putting a new spirit in the heart explains the baptism of the Holy Spirit through the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, He prophesied that a believer whose heart has been softened would be able to keep the law, which Israel had failed to do; this signifies being born again through the Holy Spirit. The Apostle Paul undoubtedly became this way and lived this way. And through the Epistle to the Romans and through His entire body of epistles, He conveys God's will, telling us to live in this way as well. Although 2,000 years have passed since this event, I, too, undoubtedly have been baptized with water in His name just like the saints of old, received the Holy Spirit from Jesus, and been made new; thus, I understand and convey this content exactly as it is. I have undoubtedly received the gift of the Holy Spirit that the apostles of 2,000 years ago received through the proper procedures, and I convey this message under the inspiration of that Holy Spirit. However, I also learn from many people regarding the content of the Bible, which is explained faithfully and accurately. I believe that there are various faithful people of God on this earth.
Now, we have seen that throughout the contents of the Bible—from Genesis to the prophetic books and the Pauline epistles—God consistently and earnestly desires that His people, the saints, strictly observe the law. Any pastor who ignores and fails to preach Jesus' words that those who do not live with the righteousness of the Pharisees will absolutely not enter the Kingdom of Heaven is highly likely to go to hell. Now, believers consider themselves to have served faithfully in a single church for 50 or 60 years, having become elders or senior deaconesses. However, please compare the teachings of the pastor who taught you with the content I am delivering. If the pastor serving you has never once preached the words of Matthew 5:17-20, that pastor is undoubtedly someone who possesses great wealth and lives well on his own, regardless of whether others live or die. He is undoubtedly someone who has led elders, deaconesses, and pastors toward living well and prospering just like himself. Now, what becomes of them all? This is the reality for most Korean pastors and the state of the believers they face. They are people who score zero points on building God's Kingdom—a heaven on earth—where everyone lives well. They live their entire lives without paying the slightest attention to the great law of loving one's neighbor. Why is that? It is because they want to possess more, not share. What can be done? For such a long time, they have poured their minds into eating well and living well, leaving no opportunity to look after those around them. However, since there is an opportunity for all of them, they simply need to share now. If all wealthy Korean Christians over the age of 60 share, everyone—you and I—will survive.
Yet, why Korea? Korea is a nation that has suffered 1,000 invasions throughout its 3,000-year history without retaliation; it most closely resembles God's character of patience. And we are a people who have already experienced living in the realm of Heaven. As a nation with so many ancestors who lived nobly, dressed in white like Abraham, we are the country best able to understand, learn, and preserve the truth I am conveying. This is because we are a people with a mission to believe in Jesus, observe these ancestral traditions, discover His will and truth through Jesus and the Bible, and further develop Korea into this positive image.
However, the most easily understandable example of becoming such a nation can be found within Korea itself. Throughout its long history, we have lived as a single ethnic group on the Korean Peninsula, speaking one language. All Koreans have lived scattered across the peninsula, each possessing homes and land, living together as extended families with three generations in love. There has always been a long and great peace. Now, we must restore our former selves, where we reduced competition, shared affection, and lived in mutual trust and love. Since we can understand and learn about God so well through the Bible, we must learn well and grow into believers who, like Abraham, always honor, always trust, always obey, always offer, and always act upon God. We must respect the tradition of our ancestors, most of whom lived simply and well even without knowing the Bible. We must confirm this tradition through Jesus and, now, through the power of the Holy Spirit, build an even more beautiful Kingdom of God on this land of Korea. I believe that countless of our ancestors, who lived by the law of conscience, are in Heaven. We must joyfully meet these great ancestors in Heaven. The path to this is to build the Kingdom of God upon the shining tradition established by our ancestors: loving peace, honoring God, loving neighbors, and living as a Korean community. Through the Holy Spirit's fulfillment of the law, we establish a kingdom on this earth where our Lord Jesus reigns according to the law. That kingdom is not much different from the one our ancestors lived in with joy. It is a life where everyone possesses homes and land from birth, marries young, has children, lives together for three generations, respects elders, and gets along well with neighbors without barriers. It is a tradition of working diligently in the spring and summer and spending the long winter in festivities. We must emulate that wonderful nation, where feasts never ceased as people enjoyed dance, song, food, and the seasons, and create a nation where everyone lives in leisure. We have experienced a world where women faithfully maintain their chastity throughout their lives, and men trust one another and uphold loyalty. Having experienced this throughout a long history, this way of life bears a striking resemblance to the Kingdom of God that Jesus intends to establish on this earth. And God will bless us without ceasing.
And since it is easy for a small nation to practice this, and because a small nation serves God so well and receives blessings, all of Europe follows suit, China follows to honor God, Japan reflects on its entire history, and America will also transform into a nation that maintains fidelity and lives purely. How astonishing! We should be living as believers in a nation with a great mission, yet must we go to hell within capitalist liberalism, where our mere 100-year lives are deceived and consumed by materialism, hoarding the blessings of 70 years for ourselves without sharing? All elders, deaconesses, and pastors must quickly sell all their possessions so that all our young children can get married, and ensure that not a single person commits suicide. What is so difficult? Does God command us to sacrifice our children with a knife, shedding their blood like Abraham? Does He command us to leave our hometowns thousands of miles away? We have simply lived well and well throughout our lives, so now we must share with our poor neighbors. We must offer ourselves to God. If you are over 60 years old, you have barely 20 years left to see Jesus; why do you wish to earn more money and carry that money with you to Heaven, feeling heavy? I exhort you in the name of Jesus to create a list of things you can share immediately today, start by sharing small items, break your savings, and sell your house and land to share. Furthermore, I hope you will have a lighthearted conversation with artificial intelligence using the Bible every day, trusting that God will enable all people on Earth to speak English fluently. You will prevent dementia, learn the Bible, receive praise from God, accumulate rewards in heaven, and above all, all those who do so will be overflowing with joy when they meet Jesus.
Now is the time for the elders of Korea to act in this way. You must believe and act. You must act through sharing. You must act through offering. I hope that there is not a single person in Korea over the age of 60 who simply believes and remains passive. And I hope that every single one of you will believe in English and speak it. One hour a day for a year will enable you to converse in English. Effort, memorization, and vocabulary study are hardly necessary; it will just happen naturally. Please believe and act. If you would like to join me, please leave a message at 010-7765-4640. It is possible for 5 to 10 people to study together in Hanam, and it is also possible for 5 to 10 people in Gunsan, Jeonbuk. Please take courage. I am a 67-year-old pastor with no job, no home, and only debt. My pension is about average, and I make a living by collecting scrap metal with a truck. I have lived like this for a full 40 years, yet I have not died; I have married twice, graduated from two graduate schools, and am being used to spread the gospel to the whole world.
I believe that the biblical truth I share with the whole world is the most advanced of this era. Since everyone who reads my writings is simply absorbing this most precious truth, I encourage you to share your good things with those around you. Sharing is the only way for Korea to survive. Please help missionaries, help poor brothers and sisters in your neighborhood, help your poor physical brothers and sisters, and wholeheartedly support pioneering churches. How rewarding and joyful work did God bless our Korea so that you might do? Living without a home, relying on a pension, and collecting scrap metal with a truck like me does not mean you will die. You will die when your body falls ill, you have an accident, or tribulation comes. This death does not depend on my possessions, my honor, or my power, but rests in the hands of our Almighty Lord Jesus. Sharing according to His word is the way to receive His grace. It is the only way to save Korea. I hope you believe, act, and offer yourselves. I bless you in the name of Jesus that you all become His descendants of faith, who become like Abraham. If you love in this way, you will keep all the laws.
1 Timothy 6:17 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in uncertain riches, but in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
18 Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.
19 In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
Both the English and the Korean translation tell the pastor to give commands to the believers. The Lord tells His servants to give commands to the rich. Therefore, we can know that this command is God's command. And we must prepare to enjoy eternal life with a light heart.
Thank you for reading this long message to the end. The content I am conveying may be a subject you have rarely heard in churches or cathedrals while living as Protestant or Catholic believers, and one you have likely had no interest in. However, what I am conveying is truly about the decision of whether one becomes great or small in heaven, and it is also the Word of God explaining those who can never enter heaven. If a pastor were to preach powerfully to a believer even once in his lifetime about the words of Jesus that one cannot enter heaven even if one dies, and what those cases are, how much would the believer who hears that sermon awaken? However, what are we to do if it is difficult to find even a single pastor in Korea who preaches this kind of sermon? Everyone is a problem, and the true light has not yet shone upon our believers. Indeed, to Catholics, nearly a billion Protestants are all people with many problems. Conversely, Catholics are people with many problems to Protestants. This aspect must be reconciled. We live intoxicated by individual success. We study from the womb. Some children complete the entire elementary school curriculum in kindergarten. And they master the high school curriculum in middle school. This is so different from us, who built up our physical strength for a lifetime by playing with friends and roaming rivers and mountains from birth. For our generation, at least until we went to high school, eating and playing with friends were our top priorities and primary activities. Then, we worked hard in high school to get jobs at banks and go to university. And since we all have memories of those heaven-like neighborhoods, homes, and school lives from our childhood, our 50s and 60s are lives that have been fully enjoyed. Because we lived that way, we now dream of such a life through Jesus. This is a privilege possessed only by Koreans on the entire earth. It is a privilege given by God to those who have spent their childhood well. Having experienced such a precious and good life, we have met our Almighty Lord Jesus, received the Holy Spirit as a gift, and now there is nothing we cannot do in the Lord. The most urgent and important task we must accomplish is the construction of God's Kingdom on earth. Most Koreans over the age of 60 remember the life of heaven on earth that I enjoyed as a childhood memory, just like I did. In particular, Koreans, surrounded by sea on three sides, must not forget the blessing of being born on the Korean Peninsula, which offers food from land, sea, and air, the benefits of distinct four seasons, and mountains, fields, rivers, and the sea.
With such fond memories, Korea—a nation where saints uphold the most just law in the world, the Law, as its constitution, and do so with the help of the Holy Spirit—will undoubtedly become a heaven on earth, and all nations of the world will emulate it. The saints living in Korea were born on this earth with such a great mission and became saints through the calling of Jesus. The faith to build such a nation must echo in the hearts of all Korean saints. With the faith to establish such a nation, we must become one; with Jesus as our leader, the entire Korean church and saints must unite and advance. Furthermore, all saints who have established the great Kingdom of God on this earth will meet in heaven, transcending denominations to love one another forever, praise the Lord, and enjoy eternal life. This is the Gospel of Jesus for all of us in the 2000s, and it is the Word of God that all Korean saints must understand and uphold, transcending denominations.
However, to focus all one’s attention solely on making a living, attending good schools, getting good jobs, and obtaining good qualifications to find a good spouse—perhaps even creating a "Hell Joseon"? That would be a truly foolish and worthless endeavor. It will truly be a spiritual life of a low standard for a saint. A saint does not need to succeed in these areas, nor do they need to be ahead in them. The Apostle Paul excelled in every aspect, yet he cast them all aside. Why do we devote all the energy of our lives to things that are like excrement to be discarded? I hope that absolutely no one lives that way. We must prepare our 100 years on this earth for eternity. Life is like the morning dew; it blooms and vanishes when the sun rises. I, too, am already nearly 70. It is a fleeting moment. Having become this way, we must dream the great dream of evangelizing the whole world and turning it into heaven. The educational method in Israel involves learning the Pentateuch of the Bible until about the age of 11. It is the constitution of the Kingdom of God, a truly precious object of praise. They also encourage discussion among themselves. There is little stress regarding secular studies. Furthermore, they learn general academics well through university, building upon the foundation of the Pentateuch. They engage in diverse studies. And because they have this foundation, they bloom late. Through the study of the Pentateuch, they become the greatest scholars, lawyers, doctors, and Nobel Prize winners in the world. By the time our young people, raised as study machines without the Bible or time to play with friends, exhaust all their energy past the age of 30, the young people of Israel are just beginning to blossom with ease. They are overflowing with energy. This is the power of the Pentateuch. A small number of Israelites, having learned this law from their fathers at a young age, command the world. This is because this law is more than enough to command the world and even the universe. The world claims that Israel's prosperity lies in the Talmud or the Israeli method of study, but the core is the early education of the Pentateuch. They become world-class figures thanks to their fathers teaching the Pentateuch well from a young age, without rest, wherever they were, following the teachings of the Bible.
I am someone who has spent my entire life studying. From a young age, I read every book that caught my eye. I read *Water Margin*, one of China's Four Great Classical Novels, in the span of a month immediately after learning to read; even though there were many things I did not understand at the age of 7 or 8, I read it with immense enjoyment. And I did not study; I read every book that was within my sight. Furthermore, I played with my friends without rest until I was 17. Then I went to a bank, met a college student in the military, and after leaving the bank, studied at a university and graduate school. For eight years, I studied law, administration, history, and English for 13 hours a day. I felt no stress in this work. It was enjoyable because I did it because I wanted to and loved it. I also studied theology for seven years and have tirelessly organized and preached the Bible for over 25 years. I was always learning. Now, I have gone all-in on English. However, my son, whom I received late in life through God's grace, started with the violin. He would learn from his teacher for 30 minutes and that was it. There was absolutely no practice. I never said a word to him. Yet, he did well. Composition seems to be a talent my son received from God. He went to learn the violin at age seven, and within a day or two, he was drawing the notes (musical notation). No one taught him. I was good at studying from a young age; I understood most things just from the teacher's explanations and did well even without studying, but my son was different. He became a college student and entered the composition department. God has allowed me to learn freely for about 70 years. Because the merciful God has waited for me with such long-suffering patience, I now proclaim the Light of the East and Abraham's great sword to the whole world. I believe that after I die, my son can be around 60 years old, make a living by composing music, and bloom like a flower. I never once told him to study or work hard; I simply left him alone, and he takes care of it on his own. I, too, never once listened to anyone tell me to study throughout my life. That is why, no matter what anyone says, I study this way my entire life. Even if I study for a lifetime, there is no stress, and studying the Bible is the most fun, most beneficial, most mysterious, and happiest of all studies.
However, I made sure my son learned the Bible well from a young age. I bought him Bible storybooks and had him read them well, and I had him watch English fairy tales on TV when he was young; before the age of six, he was better at English than I was. But after sending him to kindergarten and school, my son does not speak English well. No one teaches English in the same way I taught him through stress-free play and entertainment. His teachers made him do nothing but study English. Even I could see that his level was stressful. It is also a problem for me how my son should handle English. I still haven't been able to fully convey the message I am sharing to my son. For some reason, it is difficult to speak to him about these matters. It is okay for our youth to learn late, and it is fine if they start late, so we must not pressure them. We must allow all our young people and children to play to their heart's content, get along well with friends, and roam the mountains and fields. I studied, but I failed the civil service exam and did not get a good job. However, anyone who believes in Jesus and receives the Holy Spirit becomes like this. It happens even if it is late. I understand the Bible to some extent and speak English to some degree. I eat three meals a day, have a family, and conduct my ministry in this way. What is the problem? It is because people are more sensitive to the trends and teachings of the world and distance themselves from the free and peaceful teachings of the Bible. If Paul—a small, ugly man in shabby clothes working as a tentmaker—were to come now, how many believers or pastors would welcome him? They would turn away and tell him to learn from them instead. Even if the truth were preached, they would not listen. I hope you will first understand and listen to what I am conveying. Although the Apostle Paul is incomparably more precise, profound, and possesses amazing power than I do, he had no house or land, his clothes were tattered, his appearance was unremarkable, and he was a person difficult to recognize. When a believer joins the church, the church must, following this principle, allow them to freely believe in Jesus for at least three to five years, just as Jesus embraced, loved, and taught His disciples. Furthermore, all long-standing believers must embrace and love them like babies. They must ensure that the believer receives the Holy Spirit, and then lead them to witness to Jesus in the world, believe, act, believe, and dedicate. How free is that? Those who have believed for a long time and have deep faith must embrace and love these newly registered brothers as if they were their own siblings. They must provide for all their needs. There may also be those who skip this process and immediately believe, act, and serve. For such people, simply let them do as they are. However, I hope that those who have long held faith do not merely endure by faith alone, but act and dedicate. Please share your property. There is a very high possibility that your initial righteousness has not been acknowledged and you have become unrighteous. Please repent. Truly, believers who have believed for more than ten years and remained the same are far too indifferent to the command Jesus gives to dedicate. And accurately, the Holy Spirit dwells within us, checking every single one of our circumstances. We can never deceive the Holy Spirit who dwells within us. God, who has seen Abraham's righteousness three times, will undoubtedly consider such a saint to be unrighteous.
May you believe in Jesus, be free, and be at peace. May you eat, play, and enjoy yourself. How wonderful it would be if that joy were found in reading, understanding, and sharing the Bible! The Holy Spirit enables us to live so joyfully, happily, and freely. Hallelujah! I testify that the Holy Spirit’s help is present in all my writings. I, too, was once someone who wanted to marry well, become wealthy, and rise to a high-ranking government position through the civil service exams; therefore, I have nothing outstanding about me, and indeed, I am more sloppy in my daily life than any other person in the world. Furthermore, having cleansed a life stained with sin by the precious blood of Jesus, I have nothing to boast about. Since I accomplish all these things solely through the Lord’s precious blood and the atoning merit of the cross, glory be to the Lord forever and ever. Hallelujah!
God of love! I give thanks and glory to You for allowing this unworthy sinner to proclaim the truth. The world knows that the light of truth has emerged from Korea in the East to illuminate the whole world. I earnestly hope that all Koreans will remember the affection of the past, and that all Koreans will possess homes and land, scattering across the country to live in abundance. May all the saints love the Law, meditate on it day and night, and keep it! And I desire that the saints be the first to share, give, and offer. May the Holy Spirit inspire all the saints and the pastor so that everyone may choose the path of life! May we restore our old bonds and community through the truth of the Bible, and may this become a blessed kingdom overflowing with the order where Jesus reigns through the Law, as well as peace and joy! I pray earnestly in the name of our Lord Jesus. Amen
Thank you for reading to the end. Your prayers and help are what make this work possible together. I hope that the Gospel of Peace from Korea will fill the whole world with light, so that everyone loves as brothers and sisters, and that the reign of our Lord will be complete in all nations. Your prayers and support are needed on the journey where the Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox churches naturally become one, where Israel is evangelized, and where Islam follows the path of truth. Only the Word of God makes this possible. You have seen that truth. Kookmin Bank 831-24-0224-378 Kim Jeong-gwan 국민은행 831-24-0224-378 김정관
