인간은 지금까지 역사를 통해 줄곧 인간을 중심한 평화운동만을 전개해 왔습니다. 그 좋은 예가 민주와 공산의 대결입니다. 개인의 권익과 자유를 얼마나 더 인정해주고 보장해주느냐의 정도 차이일 뿐, 민주주의나 공산주의도 모두 부모를 잃은 자식들이 가인 아벨로 갈라져 싸우는 형제간의 분쟁 범주를 벗어나지 못한 것입니다.

인류는 누구를 막론하고 예외 없이 사탄의 혈통을 받아 태어난 사탄의 자식들입니다. 여러분 자신을 놓고 한번 생각해보십시오. 일상생활 속에서도 시시각각, 사사건건 선과 악이 여러분 내부에서 주도권 쟁탈전을 벌이고 있지 않습니까? 따라서 이런 불완전한 인간만을 중심삼고 전개하는 평화운동은 역사적으로 언제나 그 한계에 부딪쳐 좌절되고 말았던 것입니다. 세계평화실현의 화려한 꿈을 안고 출발했던 국제연합(UN)이 오늘날 그 태생적인 한계점에 부딪쳐 인류에게 더 이상 소망을 주지 못하고 있는 것도, 바로 이런 이유 때문입니다. 한마디로 하늘이 직접 운행하여 역사를 섭리하실 수 있는 때를 맞이하지 못했다는 것입니다.

여러분, 그러나 이제는 때가 달라졌습니다. 지난 80여　년의 세월을 바쳐 오직 하늘 길만을 걸어 승리한 레버런 문(REV. MOON)의 승리적 기대 위에 마침내 후천개벽의 시대가 선포된 것입니다. 죄악과 질곡의 늪에서 허덕이던 인류를 해방-석방시켜 자유와 행복의 세계인 창조본연의 이상세계를 창건하는 천운의 때가 우리와 함께 하고 있다는 것입니다.

하늘이 레버런 문을 인류의 참부모로 인침하시고 새 시대를 열어주신 데는 몇 가지 분명한 이유가 있습니다. 첫째로 ‘위하여 사는 삶’, 즉 참사랑의 삶의 가치를 실천하여 승리하고, 인류에게 전수해준 그 승리적 기대 때문입니다. 인간은 누구나 위하여 살도록 태어납니다. 그러나 타락으로 인한 무지 때문에 정반대의 길인 이기적 개인주의로 빠져들고 마는 것입니다. 역사상 처음으로 이런 천비를 밝히고 인류를 교육해온 레버런 문의 파란만장한 삶을 하나님은 잘 알고 계십니다.

둘째로, 본인은 일생을 바쳐 만난(萬難)을 극복하고 승리적 기대를 세웠으며, 참사랑 실천 교육을 통해 하나님과 인간이 부자(父子)지간의 관계를 다시 회복하여 정립할 수 있는 모든 조건을 다 충족시켰던 것입니다. 사랑의 원수인 간부 사탄의 자식이 되어 거짓 사랑, 거짓 생명, 거짓 혈통의 노예가 되어 살던 인류를 참사랑의 근원 되신 하나님의 참된 혈통으로 다시 중생함을 받을 수 있는 길을 열어준 것입니다. 참사랑의 삶을 통해 개인완성을 실현하고, 참된 가정, 참된 종족, 참된 민족, 참된 국가, 참된 세계를 세울 수 있는 길을 활짝 열어주셨다는 것입니다.

　人間は今まで、歴史を通して、絶えず人間を中心とする平和運動ばかりを

展開してきました。その良い例が民主と共産の対決です。個人の権益と自由をどれくらいより認定し、保障するのか、その程度の差だけであって、民主主義も共産主義も、すべて父母を失った子女たちがカインとアベルに分かれて争う、兄弟間の紛争の範疇を抜け出すことができませんでした。 
　

　人類は、誰彼を問わず、例外なくサタンの血統を受けて生まれたサタンの

子女たちです。皆様自身のことを一度考えてみてください。日常生活の中でも、時々刻々、あらゆることにおいて善と悪が皆様の内部で主導権の争奪戦を展開しているではないですか。したがって、このような不完全な人間ばかりを中心として展開する平和運動は、歴史的に常にその限界にぶつかり、挫折してしまったのです。世界平和実現の華やかな夢を抱いて出発した国際連合（ＵＮ）が、今日その生まれながらにしてもつ限界点にぶつかり、人類にこれ以上希望を

与えることができずにいることも、正にこのような理由のためです。一言で言えば、天が直接運行し、歴史を摂理できる時を迎えることができなかったということです。

　皆様、しかし今では、時が変わりました。過去80年以上の歳月を捧げ、ひとえに天の道だけを歩んで勝利したレバレンド・ムーンの勝利的基台の上に、

ついに後天開闢の時代が宣布されたのです。罪悪と桎梏(しっこく)の沼で苦しんでいた人類を解放・釈放させ、自由と幸福の世界である創造本然の理想世界を創建する天運の時が、私たちと共にあるのです。

　天がレバレンド・ムーンを人類の真の父母として印を押され、新時代を開いてくださったことには、いくつかの明確な理由があります。第１に、「ために生きる人生」、すなわち真の愛の人生の価値を実践して勝利し、人類に伝授してあげたその勝利的基台のためです。人間は、誰もがために生きるように生まれました。しかし、堕落による無知のために、正反対の道である利己的個人主義に陥ってしまったのです。歴史上、初めてこのような天の秘密を明らかにし、人類を教育してきたレバレンド・ムーンの波瀾万丈の人生を神様はよく御存じでいらっしゃいます。 

　第２に、私は、一生を捧げて万難を克服し、勝利的基台を立てたのであり、真の愛の実践教育を通して、神様と人間が父子間の関係を再び回復し、定立できるすべての条件を充足させたのです。 

　愛の怨讐である姦夫サタンの子女となり、偽りの愛、偽りの生命、偽りの血統の奴隷となって生きていた人類を、真の愛の根源であられる神様の真の血統に重生され得る道を開いてあげました。 

　真の愛の人生を通して個人完成を実現し、真なる家庭、真なる氏族、真なる民族、真なる国家、真なる世界を立て得る道を完全に開いてあげたのです。 

The Limitations of the Quest for Peace that Is Based on Human Effort Alone

Throughout history, humankind has continuously worked toward peace on the basis of human effort. The confrontation between democracy and communism is a prime example of this. The core difference between the two is the extent to which individual rights and freedoms are recognized and ensured. Communism and democracy are like children who lost their parents. The two divided into the positions of Cain and Abel respectively and became entrapped in the fetters of fraternal conflict.

Human beings without exception are the children of Satan, with each one born inheriting Satan’s lineage. Consider yourself for a moment. In every moment and every affair of daily life, good and evil are fighting within you to gain the upper hand. Isn’t that so? Peace movements always encountered limitations and failure throughout history because imperfect human beings carried them out. This is the reason the United Nations, launched with a splendid dream of realizing world peace, today has to confront its innate limitations and confess that it can no longer give hope to humanity. Simply put, the UN was launched during the era prior to the time in which Heaven can be directly involved with the unfolding of God’s providence in history.

Ladies and gentlemen, by virtue of Reverend Moon’s devotion to the path of heaven throughout the more than eighty years of his life, a new world is emerging. On this victorious foundation, the revolutionary era after the coming of heaven has been proclaimed. We are now living in the age of heavenly fortune, an age in which all people can be liberated and delivered from the quagmire of sin. It is the era in which the world of freedom and happiness, the ideal world as originally intended at the time of creation, can be established.

There are several clear reasons why Heaven designated the person standing before you,

Reverend Moon, as the True Parent of humankind and thereby opened up a new era. First, it was on the foundation of my having successfully practiced living for the sake of others. That is, I applied the values of a life of true love, emerged triumphant, and offered that triumph to humanity. All human beings are born to live for the sake of others. However, because of the ignorance resulting from the Fall, people practice selfish individualism, which is the complete opposite. I have revealed this secret of Heaven and imparted this knowledge to humankind for the first time in history. God is fully aware of the path my life has taken, through thick and thin.

Second, I have dedicated my life to overcoming all obstacles and laying a victorious foundation. Through the education provided by the actual practice of true love, I have fulfilled all conditions necessary for the recovery and establishment of a parent–child relationship between God and humankind. I have opened the way for human beings, who became the children of Satan, the adulterer and enemy of love—and who have lived as slaves of false love, false life and false lineage—to be reborn into the true lineage of God, the source of true love. In other words, I have opened wide the path for people to reach full spiritual maturity as individuals and to establish true families, true clans, true peoples, true nations, and a true world, by leading lives of true love.
