The Love that Willingly Entrusts & Obeys is the Right Faith

성경말씀: 갈라디아서 5~6장

Scripture Reading: Galatians 5-6

본문에서 “그리스도께서 우리에게 진실한 자유를 주셨으니 굳세게 서서 다시는 종의 멍에를 메지 말라. 나 바울의 말을 명심하라 만일 너희가 할례를 받으면 그리스도께서 너희에게 아무 유익이 되지 못하리라. 내가 할례를 받는 사람들에게 다시 말하는데 그는 모든 율법을 지킬 의무가 있느니라. 율법 안에서 의롭다 함을 얻으려는 너희는 그리스도에게서 분리되고 은혜에서 떨어졌느니라(5:1-4)” 하였듯, 성경에 기록된 율법을 따라 지키려는 육신적 열정에 속지 말고, 성령의 진리를 사랑하며 따라 지켜야 올바른 믿음입니다.

애 not be deceived by the fleshly passion to keep the laws written in the Bible. Instead, love and follow the truth of the Holy Spirit. This is the right faith in Christ, as “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Satan firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Mark my words. I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. Again, I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ, you have fallen away from grace. (5:1-4)”

왜냐하면 모든 사람들이 “하나님과 같이 되리라(창3:5)” 했던 사탄의 유혹을 마음에 가졌으므로, “우리는 믿음으로 성령을 통한 우리의 의로움에 간절한 소망을 두고 기다리노라. 그리스도 예수 안에서는 할례나 무할례나 가치가 없고 사랑으로 나타나는 믿음뿐이라. 너희가 진리를 잘 따라가더니 누가 진리를 순종하지 못하게 가로막느냐, 그들의 설득은 너희를 부르신 이에게서 오는 것이 아니라. 적은 누룩이 반죽 전체에 퍼짐이라. 나는 너희가 다른 견해를 따르지 않으리라 주 안에서 확신하므로 너희를 혼란시키는 자는 누구든지 벌을 받으리라(5:5-10)” 하였듯, 하나님께서 이루어 주실 그리스도의 대속과 구원을 신뢰하며 맡기고 순종하며 기다리지 못하고, 율법의 외면적 의미를 따라 지키도록 유혹하는 사람의 교훈에 속아 그릇된 율법적 믿음에 빠지고 멸망의 심판을 받기 때문입니다.

Because, everyone has Satan’s temptation to be like God in their hearts, as “You will be like God (Genesis3:5)” So, they cannot trust for Christ’s redemption and salvation that God accomplished, but shouldn’t entrust themselves to God, nor obeys to Him, or never awaits it. Instead, they are deceived by the teachings of those who tempt them with the external meaning the words in the Bible, and fallen to the legalistic false faith and are judged to perish, as “For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth? That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you. A little east works through the whole batch of dough. I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is throwing you into confusion, whoever that may be, will have to pay the penalty. (5:5-10)”

그러므로 “형제들아 내가 지금까지 할례를 전했으면 어찌하여 이제까지 박해를 받겠느냐 그랬으면 십자가의 걸림돌이 없어졌으리라. 너희를 선동하는 자들은 스스로 거세하기를 바라노라. 형제들아 자유를 위하여 부르심을 받았으나 그 자유를 육체의 욕망에 쓰지 말고 오직 사랑으로 서로 종 노릇하라. 온 율법은 네 이웃을 네 자신 같이 사랑하라 하신 한마디로 다 이루어짐이라(5:11-14)” 하였듯, 율법주의 그릇된 믿음에 빠진 사탄의 종들에게 이단으로 몰리는 핍박을 받더라도 성령이 가르치는 복음의 진리로 죄와 사망에 매인 사람들을 일깨우며 올바른 믿음으로 인도하는 사랑과 생명의 열매를 맺어야 됩니다.

Therefore, even if we are branded heretic and persecuted by Satan’s servants who have fallen into the wrong legalistic beliefs, we must bear the fruit of love and life by awakening those who bound by sin and death with the truth of the gospel taught by the Holy Spirit and guiding them to the right faith in Jesus Christ, as “Brothers and sisters, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished. As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves. You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh, rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command. Love your neighbor as yourself. (5:11-14)”

그러므로 “만일 서로 물어뜯고 먹으면 함께 멸망하므로 조심하라. 내가 이르는데 성령을 따라 행하라 그러면 육체의 욕심을 이루지 아니하리라. 육체의 욕심은 성령을 거스르고 성령은 육체의 욕심을 거스르며 둘이 서로 대적하는 가운데 너희가 선택하게 됨이라. 너희가 만일 성령의 인도를 받으면 율법 아래에 있지 아니함이라(5:15-18)” 하였듯, 육신의 욕심을 충동하는 사탄의 유혹에 속지 말고, 성령의 가르침과 인도를 따라 순종하는 믿음으로 임마누엘 하나님의 온유한 사랑으로 섬기며 살아야, “엘리 엘리 라마 사박다니” 부르짖을 만큼 두렵고 공포스러운 마지막 시험에 좌절하지 않고, “내 영혼을 아버지께 부탁합니다” 간구하여 맡기며 죽을 수 있고, 대속과 구원을 얻어 부활하고 영생합니다.

Therefore, do not be deceived by the temptation of Satan that stimulate the desires of the flesh, but live in obedience of the teachings and guidance of the Holy Spirit and serve with the gentle love of God Emmanuel. Then, you will not be discouraged by the last test that is fearful and terrifying as to cry out, “Eli, Eli, Ramah sabachthani” but you will be able to die entrusting your spirit to God by praying, “Father, I commend my spirit to you” and receive redemption and salvation and be resurrected and live eternally, as “if you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. So, I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. (5:15-18)”

그러므로 “육체의 행위는 분명하니 음행과 더러움과 호색과, 우상 숭배와 주술과 원수 맺는 것과 분쟁과 시기와 분냄과 당짓는 것과 분열과 이단과, 투기와 술 취함과 방탕과 같은 것들이라 전에 너희에게 경계한 것 같이 경계하는데 그런 일을 하는 자들은 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못하느니라(5:19-21)” 하였듯, 우리 마음 속에서 그리스도의 대속과 구원에 합당한 믿음을 방해하는 육신의 욕망을 부정하여 버려야 하고 되살아나지 못하도록 그리스도의 십자가에 못박아 죽여야 합니다.

“The act of the flesh is obvious. sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery, idolatry and witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, and envy, drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. (5:19-21)”

그래야만, “오직 성령의 열매는 사랑과 희락과 화평과 오래 참음과 자비와 양선과 충성과, 온유와 절제니 이같은 것을 반대할 법이 없음이라. 그리스도 예수의 사람들은 육체의 본성과 정욕과 탐심을 십자가에 못 박았음이라. 우리는 성령으로 사는 자들이니 성령과 함께 행하라. 서로 우쭐대거나 투기하거나 노엽게 하지 말라(5:22-25)” 하였듯, 성령의 진리와 사랑에 따른 온유한 삶으로 사람들을 믿음으로 인도하는 생명의 열매를 맺고 육체의 정욕에 속지 아니하며 죽기까지 순종하여 구원을 얻습니다.

Only then, can wen bear the fruit of life, leading people to faith through a gentle life according to the truth and love of the Holy Spirit, and not being deceived by the lusts of the flesh, but obeying even unto death and attain salvation in Christ Jesus, as “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep instep with the Spirit. (5:22-25)”

그러므로 “형제들아 만일 누구의 범죄가 드러나면 신령한 너희가 온유한 심령으로 그를 바로잡고 너 자신이 같은 시험에 빠지지 않도록 자신을 살피며 조심하라. 서로서로 짐을 나누어지며 그리스도의 법을 성취하라. 아무것도 되지 못하고 된 줄로 생각하면 스스로 속임이라. 남들과 비교하지 않고 스스로 자신을 평가하면 자랑할 수 있으나, 각자 자신의 짐을 지게 되리라(6:1-5)” 하였듯, 실족하고 죄에 빠진 사람이라도 그 마음에 임할 임마누엘 하나님의 사랑과 능력을 믿고 진리로 일깨우며 온유하게 포용하며 회개로 인도해야 합니다.

Therefore, even if someone stumbles and falls into sin, we must believe in the love and power of God Emmanuel who will come into their hearts, awaken them with the truth, gently embrace them, and lead them to repentance, as “Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ. If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, for each one should carry their own load. (6:1-5)”

또한 “말씀을 배우는 자는 말씀을 가르치는 자와 함께 모든 좋은 것을 나누라. 하나님은 방치하시지 않고 사람이 무엇을 심든지 그대로 거두므로 자신을 속이지 말라. 자신의 죄 많은 육신의 본성을 따라 살면 육신에서 파멸을 거두고 성령을 따라 살면 성령으로부터 영생을 거두리라. 우리가 낙심하거나 포기하지 않고 선행하면 때에 맞추어 거두리라. 그러므로 기회가 있는 대로 모든 사람에게 선을 행하되 믿음의 가정들에 더하라(6:6-10)” 하였듯, 말씀을 가르치는 사람들을 진심으로 존중하며 섬기고, 모든 사람을 사랑으로 섬기는 선행을 힘써야 합니다.

We must also respect and serve those who teach the word of God, and strive to do good deeds that serve all people with love, as “Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor. Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sowed. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction, whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. (6:6-10)”

다만, “겉으로만 좋은 인상을 주며 너희에게 억지로 할례를 받게 하려는 자들은 그리스도의 십자가로 말미암은 박해를 받지 아니하려는 것이라. 할례를 받은 그들조차 율법을 지키지 않고 너희에게 할례를 받게 하려는 것은 너희의 육체로 자랑하려 함이라(6:12-13)” 하였듯, 겉으로만 선하고 의롭고 거룩한 척하며 유혹하는 사탄의 종들에게 속지 않아야 됩니다.

however, we must not be deceived by the false prophets and servants of Satan who only pretend to be good, righteous, and holy on the outside, as “Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh. (6:12-13)”

그리고 “내게는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 십자가 외에 결코 자랑할 것이 없으니 그리스도의 십자가로 말미암아 세상이 나에 대하여 못박혔고 나도 세상에 대하여 못박혔음이라. 할례나 무할례는 아무런 의미가 없고 오직 새롭게 지으심을 받는 것이 중요함이라. 무릇 이 규례를 따르는 사람 곧 하나님의 이스라엘에게 평강과 긍휼이 있으리라. 이후로는 누구든지 예수의 흔적을 몸에 지닌 나를 괴롭히지 말라. 형제들아 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜가 너희 심령에 있기를 비노라(6:14-18)” 하였듯, 우리의 마음에서 나오는 모든 생각이 사탄에게서 오는 유혹임을 잊지 말고, 자신을 부인하며 십자가에 못박아 죽이고, 그리스도의 십자가 죽음과 부활에 숨겨진 진리만을 따라 믿고 신뢰하며 전하고 증거하며 죽기까지 순종해야 구원을 얻습니다. 사랑하는 성도 여러분 모두 임마누엘 하나님 성령께 맡기고 죽기까지 순종하며 헌신하는 사랑으로 구원과 영생 얻기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

And let us not forget that every thought that comes from our hearts is a temptation from Satan. We must deny our own thoughts, crucify them, and put them to death. We must believe, trust, preach, and testify only to the truth hidden in Christ’s death on the cross and resurrection, and we must obey until death to attain salvation, as “May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, what count is the new creation. Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule, to the Israel of God. From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the mark of Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. (6:14-18)” Dear saints, I pray earnestly in the name of Jesus Christ that you may entrust yourselves to the Holy Spirit of God, Immanuel, and obtain salvation and eternal life through obedience and devotion to Him until death. Amen.
