Must Reap the Fruit of Life by Obeying the Truth of Holy Spirit

본문에 “그리스도 안에서 하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복을 우리에게 주셨으니, 창세 전에 그리스도 안에서 택하신 사랑으로 우리를 그의 앞에 거룩하고 흠이 없게 하시려고, 그의 기쁘신 뜻대로 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 우리를 자기의 아들들이 되도록 예정하셨으니, 그가 사랑하시는 자 안에서 우리에게 값없이 주시는 그의 은혜와 영광을 찬송하게 하려 함이라. 우리는 그리스도 안에 풍성한 은혜를 따라 그의 피로 구속하는 죄 사함을 받았음이라(1:3-7)” 하였듯, 예수 그리스도를 올바로 알고 믿으면 누구나 구원을 얻는 것이 신실하신 하나님의 영원한 약속입니다.

For the faithful God’s eternal covenant that anyone who knows and believes in Jesus Christ correctly, he will surely be saved, as “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love, he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will, to the praise of his glorious grace which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. (1:3-7)”

그러나 “그가 모든 지혜와 총명을 우리에게 넘치게 주시고, 그의 기쁘신 뜻대로 그리스도 안에서 실현되게 하신 그의 신비한 뜻을 우리에게 알리셨으니, 때가 되면 하늘과 땅의 모든 것이 다 머리이신 그리스도 아래 통일시키려 함이라. 모든 것을 자신이 뜻하고 목적하신 대로 이루시는 이가 예정하신 대로 우리가 그리스도 안에서 택함을 받았으니, 우리가 먼저 그리스도께 소망을 두고 믿게 하시며 하나님의 영광을 찬양하게 하심이라. 너희가 진리의 말씀 구원의 복음을 듣고 그리스도를 믿어 약속된 성령으로 인치심을 받았음이라(1:8-13)” 하였듯, 신령한 지혜와 총명을 주시며 가르치는 성령을 따라 믿고 임마누엘 하나님께 죽기까지 겸손하게 순종해야 됩니다.

However, we must following and believe the Holy Spirit, who gives us divine wisdom and intelligence and teaches and guides us, moreover, we must humbly obeying God of Immanuel until death, as “That he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment, to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ. In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit. (1:8-13)”

왜냐하면, “너희가 주 예수를 믿고 모든 성도들을 사랑한다는 소식을 내가 들었으므로, 내가 기도할 때에 너희를 기억하며 끊임없이 감사하고, 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 하나님 영광스러운 아버지께서 지혜와 계시의 영을 너희에게 주셔서 하나님을 더 잘 알게 하시기를 끊임없이 간구하며, 너희 마음의 영안을 밝히 열어 주셔서 그가 부르신 소망과 성도들의 기업이 얼마나 영광스럽고 풍성하며, 그분께서 믿는 우리에게 얼마나 비교할 수 없고 위대하신 힘으로 역사하시는 능력을 베푸셨는지 너희가 알게 하시기를 간구하노라(1:15-19)” 하였듯, 성령의 가르침에 따라 믿고 순종해야 임마누엘 은혜와 사랑으로 구원과 영생을 확신하며 죽기까지 순종할 수 있기 때문입니다.

Because, whoever, he can be assured of salvation and eternal life through the grace and love of God of Immanuel and humbly obedience until death, if whom, he will believing and obeying the teachings of the Holy Spirit only, as “For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God od our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength. (1:15-19)”

그러므로 “너희는 허물과 죄로 죽은 자들이었으니, 세상 풍속을 따라 공중의 권세를 잡아 불순종하는 자들 속에서 역사하는 영의 지배를 받았음이라. 우리도 한때 그들 속에서 육체의 정욕과 생각을 따라 살며 다른 사람들과 같이 본질상 진노의 자녀였으나, 긍휼이 풍성하신 하나님이 우리를 사랑하시므로, 허물로 죽은 우리를 그리스도와 함께 다시 살리셨으니 하나님의 은혜로 너희가 구원을 얻었음이라(2:1-5)” 하였듯, 하나님의 백성으로 부르심을 받아 예수 그리스도를 믿으면서도 육신의 생각을 따라 살면, 임마누엘 하나님의 자녀가 되지 못한 것입니다.

Therefore, anyone, who is called to be God’s people and believes in Jesus Christ, but still lives according to the flesh, he cannot become a child of God of Immanuel yet, as “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the craving of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions, it is by grace you have been saved. (2:1-5)”

왜냐하면 “하나님이 우리를 그리스도와 함께 다시 살리시고 그리스도 예수 안에서 하늘 왕국에 함께 앉히셨으니, 그리스도 예수 안에서 우리에게 베푸신 그의 풍성한 은혜를 오는 세대에 보여주려 하심이라. 너희는 그의 은혜를 믿으므로 구원을 받았으니 너희에게서 난 것이 아니고 하나님의 선물이라. 행위에서 난 것이 아니니 누구든지 자랑하지 못하게 함이라. 우리는 그리스도 예수 안에서 선한 일을 하도록 하나님께서 만드신 작품으로 하나님께서 예비하신 일들을 행하게 하셨음이라(2:6-10)” 하였듯, 사람의 의지와 노력으로는 올바른 믿음을 결코 이루지 못하고, 임마누엘 하나님을 신뢰하며 맡기고 순종하며 죽어야 구원을 얻기 때문입니다.

Because, human will and effort alone can never achieve true faith, and salvation can only be gained by trusting in, entrusting to, and obeying God of Emmanuel till dying, as “God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, experienced in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (2:6-10)”

왜냐하면 “전에 멀리 있던 너희가 이제는 그리스도 예수 안에서 그리스도의 피로 가까워졌음이라. 그리스도는 우리의 화평이시라 둘 사이를 가로막던 담을 헐어내어 하나로 만드셨고, 계명과 율법과 규례를 그의 몸으로 폐하시고 유대인과 이방인을 그리스도 안에서 새로운 사람으로 창조하여 화평을 이루게 하시려고, 그들의 원수 된 것을 십자가로 소멸하셨고 십자가로 둘이 한 몸을 이루어 하나님과 화목하게 하셨음이라(2:13-16)” 하셨듯, 십자가 대속으로 육신으로 살 동안엔 심판을 받지 않지만, 죽을 때까지 임마누엘 하나님과 화목하며 순종할 책임을 사람의 자유의지에 주셨기 때문입니다.

Because, no one will be judged by the atonement of the cross while living in the flesh, but the responsibility to be reconciled with and obey Immanuel God until death has been given to man’s free-will, as “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christy. For his himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. (2:13-16)”

그러므로 “그분이 멀리 있던 너희를 찾아와 평화의 복음을 전하시고 가까이 있던 자들에게도 평화의 복음을 전하셨으므로, 우리 둘이 그분 안에서 한 성령으로 아버지께 나아가게 하셨으므로, 이제는 너희가 외국인이나 나그네가 아니고 하나님의 백성과 동등한 시민이고 하나님의 가족이라. 그리스도 예수께서 친히 모퉁잇돌이 되신 사도들과 선지자들의 터 위에 너희가 교회로 세워졌음이라. 그리스도 안에 세워진 교회들이 서로 연합하여 주님의 거룩한 성전으로 세워지고, 너희들도 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님께서 성령으로 거하실 처소가 됨이라(2:17-22)” 하였듯, 우리 모두 임마누엘 하나님을 모시고 경배하며 순종하는 영적인 성전이 돼야 합니다.

Therefore, we must all become spiritual temples that serve, worship and obey God of Immanuel, as “He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. (2:17-22)”

왜냐하면, 예수 그리스도의 구원은 창조 이전부터 모든 사람에게 차별없이 주셨지만, “내가 이미 간략하게 기록한 것처럼 계시로 내게 알리신 비밀이라. 그것을 읽으면 내가 그리스도의 비밀을 깨달은 것을 너희가 알리라. 그 비밀을 이전 세대 사람들에게는 알리지 않으셨으나 이제는 그의 거룩한 사도들과 선지자들에게 계시하셨음이라. 그 비밀은 이방인들이 복음을 통하여 그리스도 예수 안에서 이스라엘과 함께 약속에 참여하는 한 몸의 지체와 상속자가 되는 것이라. 내가 하나님의 은사를 통해 그의 능력이 역사하는 이 복음의 일꾼이 되었음이라(3:3-7)” 하였듯, 임마누엘 하나님께 순종하더라도 자유의지로 말미암아 하나님의 뜻을 오해하고 그릇된 교훈을 전하며 타락할 수 있기 때문입니다.

Because, although the salvation of Jesus Christ was given to all people without discrimination from before creation, even those who obey God of Immanuel can, through their free-will, misunderstand God’s will, preach false teachings, and fall into corruption, as “That is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly. In reading this, then you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was nor made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets. This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace given me through the working of his power. (3:3-7)”

왜냐하면, “하나님의 모든 성도 중에 가장 작은 자보다 더 작은 나에게 그리스도의 헤아릴 수 없이 풍성한 은혜를 이방인에게 전하게 하시고, 만물을 창조하신 하나님 안에 영원부터 감추어 두셨던 신비한 경륜을 모든 사람에게 밝혀 주게 하셨음이라. 이는 교회를 통하여 하나님의 다양하신 지혜를 하늘 왕국의 통치자들과 권세자들에게 알리려 하심이라. 이는 하나님께서 우리 주 예수 그리스도 안에서 이루신 영원하신 목적에 따른 것이라. 그러므로 우리가 그리스도를 믿고 담대하게 확신하며 하나님께 나아갈 수 있음이라(3:8-12)” 하였듯, 거의 모든 사람들이 자신의 특수한 상황을 모든 사람에게 똑같이 적용하려는 어리석은 잘못 때문입니다.

Because, almost everyone makes the foolish mistake of applying their own special circumstances to everyone else, as “Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me. To preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ, and to make plan to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past kept hidden in God, who created all things. His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. (3:8-12)”

그러므로 성령의 가르침을 따라 배우고 믿고 순종할지라도 자신이 아는 진리나 지식에 자만하거나 자랑하지 말고, “하늘과 땅에 있는 그의 모든 가족들이 그에게서 이름을 얻었음이라. 그의 풍성하신 영광과 성령의 능력으로 너희 속사람을 강건하게 하시고, 믿음을 따라 그리스도께서 너희 마음에 계시고 너희가 하나님의 사랑 안에 뿌리를 박고 굳게 세워지며. 모든 성도들과 함께 그리스도의 사랑이 얼마나 길고 넓고 깊고 높은지 깨닫게 하시고, 지식을 초월하는 그의 사랑을 알고 하나님께서 모든 충만하신 척도로 너희를 채우시기를 간구하노라(3:15-19)” 하였듯, 생명이 끝날 때까지 하나님의 진리를 더욱 깊고 넓게 가르쳐 주시기를 바라며 묻고 배우며 죽기까지 겸손하게 순종해야 됩니다. 성도 여러분 모두 그처럼 올바른 믿음으로 구원 얻기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

Therefore, even if you learn, understand, believe and obey according to the teachings of the Holy Spirit, you should not be proud or boastful about the truth or knowledge you know. Instead, until the end of your life, you should ask, understand and humbly obey until death, hoping God will teach you the truth more deeply and broadly, as “Form whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being. So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. (3:15-19)” Dear saints, I earnestly pray and bless you all in the name of Jesus Christ, that you may be saved through such righteous faith. Amen.
