Bible Reading - Proverbs 27:19~27

27:19 As water reflects(비추다,반사하다) a face, so a man's heart reflects the man.

물이 얼굴을 비추는 것처럼, 사람의 마음은 그 사람을 비춘다(반사한다).

27:20 Death and Destruction are never satisfied, 죽음과 파괴가 절대로 만족하지 않으며

and neither are the eyes of man.인간의 눈도 절대로 만족하지 않는다.

27:21 The crucible(도가니) for silver and the furnace(용광로) for gold,

은은 도가니에서, 금은 용광로에서 나오듯,

but man is tested by the praise he receives.  사람은 자신이 받는 칭찬으로 시험을 받는다.

27:22 Though you grind a fool in a mortar(모르타르), grinding him like grain with a pestle(절굿공이), 

비록 네가 모르타르 속에서 어리석은 자를 갈아도, 그를 가는 것은 절굿공이에 있는 곡식과 같아서

you will not remove his folly(어리석음) from him. 너는 그로부터 그의 어리석음을 제거하지 못할 것이다.

27:23 Be sure you know the condition of your flocks(양떼),

너는 양떼의 상태를 잘 파악하고(네가 너의 양떼의 상태를 아는 것을 확실히 하고 )

give careful attention to your herds(가축);너의 가축에 세심한 주의를 기울이라.

27:24 for riches do not endure(견디다,지속하다) forever,

and a crown is not secure for all generations.

재물은 영원히 지속되지 않고 왕관은 대대로 안전하지 않다.

27:25 When the hay(건초) is removed and new growth appears

and the grass from the hills is gathered in,

건초를 제거하고 새로운 풀이 자라고 언덕의 풀을 모으면,

27:26 the lambs will provide you with clothing, and the goats with the price of a field.

어린 양은 옷을 제공해 주고, 염소는 밭 값을 지불(제공)해 줄 것이다.

27:27 You will have plenty of goats' milk to feed(밥을 먹이다) you and your family

직역 -  너는 너와 너의 가족을 먹여 살릴 풍부한 염소 젖을 갖게 될 것이며

and to nourish(키우다, 기르다) your servant girls.

너는 너와 너의 가족을 먹여 살리며 너의 하녀들을 기를 (키울) 풍부한 염소 젖을 갖게 될 것이다.
