⑥ 공적 일을 하라 - 2

오늘날 사람들은 자기의 생활을 중심 삼고 선악의 분기점과 공사의 분기점에서 안팎으로 뒤넘이치고 왔다 갔다 하다가 결국에는 사적으로 빠지는 경우가 많습니다. 그런데 그렇게 되면 망하는 것입니다.

그러니 과거는 사적인 생활이었다고 회개하며 다시 공적인 생활을 위해 이를 악물고 해야 합니다. 그러다가 참지 못하고 또다시 사적인 생활을 하고…. 이렇게 왔다 갔다 하다가 사적인 쪽으로 들어서는 때가 많게 되고, 그러다 보니 공적인 선과는 멀어지는 생활을 합니다.

이것이 지금까지의 신앙생활이라는 것입니다. 그렇기 때문에 사적인 생활을 하는 모든 사람들은 회개해야만 된다는 것을 여러분은 알아야 되겠습니다. (31-241)

여러분, 복 받기를 원합니까? 영생하기를 원합니까? 그러려면 공적인 사람이 되어야 합니다. 자식을 교육하는 데 있어서 내 아들딸로만 사랑하지 말라는 것입니다.

세계인을 위한 제물적인 아들딸로서 사랑하는 부모가 되어야 합니다. 그리고 자식을 품에 안고 젖을 먹일 때는 이 지구성의 인류를 대표한 어머니의 입장에서 인류를 대표한 어린 애기에게 젖을 준다는 마음으로 먹여야 됩니다.

그리고 자기 자식에게만 이쁘다고 젖을 먹일 것이 아니라, 남의 자식도 내 자식 같다는 심정으로 대하는 어머니가 되어 보십시오. 그런 어머니의 젖을 먹고 자라나는 애기들은 반드시 위대한 사람이 될 것입니다.

당장에는 안 되더라도 1대 2대를 거쳐 나가는 동안 반드시 그 후손 가운데 세계를 지배할 수 있는 인물이 탄생될 것입니다. 이것은 공식입니다. 그렇게 되는 거예요. (31-168)

⑥ 公的な仕事をせよ - 2

今日、人々は、自分の生活を中心として、善悪の分岐点と公私の分岐点で、内外にひっくり返って行ったり来たりして、結局は私的におぼれる場合が沢山あります。しかし、その様になれば、滅びるのです。

ですから、過去は私的な生活であったと悔い改め、再び公的な生活の為にこれを歯を食いしばってやらなければなりません。

そうして行ったり来たりして私的な側に入り込む時が多くなり、そうしてみると公的な善とは遠ざかる生活をします。これが今迄の信仰生活です。それ故、私的な生活をする全ての人達は、悔い改めなければなりません。（三一―二四一）

皆さん、福を受けるのを願いますか。永生するのを願いますか。そうするには、公的な人にならなければなりません。子供を教育するのに、自分の息子、娘だけ愛するなと言うのです。世界の人の為の、祭物的な息子、娘として愛する父母にならなければなりません。

そして、子供を　懐に抱いてお乳を飲ませる時は、この地球星の人類を代表した母の立場で、人類を代表した幼い赤ん坊にお乳をやるという心で飲ませなければなりません。

そして、自分の子供だけかわいいという様に対そうとするのではなく、人の子も自分の子のようだという心情で対する母に成るべきです。その様な母のお乳を飲んで育つ赤ん坊達は、必ず偉大な人に成るでしょう。

すぐには駄目でも、一代、二代を経ていく間、必ずその後孫の中に、世界を支配し得る人物が誕生するでしょう。これは公式です。（三一―一六八）

8) Things That Must Be Done Before Death

⑥ Work for the Public - 2

Today, we stand on the turning point between good and evil and the public and private, centering on one's own everyday life. There are many cases when we mix up the priority between these two and finally fall into a self-centered, private lifestyle.

But if one lives that way, one will perish. Therefore, one must repent for one's past self-centered, private life and push oneself into the public-centered life, no matter how hard it is.

Meanwhile, one cannot tolerate the public-centered life and returns to the old private-centered life again. In this way, one goes back and forth between these two lifestyles.

When one remains in the private-centered lifestyle more often, one lives a lifestyle that keeps a distance from the public good. This is the life of faith until today. Therefore, you must realize that all private-centered people must repent for their lifestyle. (31:241) 

Everyone, do you wish to receive good fortune? Do you wish to live an eternal life? To do so, you must become a public person. When you educate children, don't love your sons and daughters alone.

You must become parents who love their children as offerings for the sake of the people of the world. When you hold your babies to your breast and feed them with milk, you must think of yourself as if you are a mother who represents all the human race on the earth, and your baby is a representative of all the human race.

You must feed the baby milk with this kind of heart. When you feed your baby with milk, don't cherish your child alone. Please become a mother who can cherish others' children with a loving heart as if they were yours.

A baby who grows up with the milk of such a mother will certainly become a great person. You may not get an immediate result, but after the first and second generations, you will have a great heir who can lead the world. This is the formula. This will surely happen that way. (31:168)
