The Remnant's Nighttime(Psalm 17:3)
Though you probe my heart and examine me at night, though you test me, you will find nothing; I have resolved that my mouth will not sin.
Hymn #338 Nearer, My God, to Thee(Unified Hymn 364)
In Psalm 17:3, it states that David prayed at night. Nighttime is very important because it's your spiritual state. At night, if you don't remember Jehovah during your Remnant years, you won't be able to do what you want at night later when you get older. Although you go to work and school during the day, you aren't able to freely use your nighttime. At night, some people become addicted to on-line gaming; drinking; or gambling. But for you, at night, however brief it may be, you need to set apart time and carry out three works.
1. Prayer Concentration(Psalm 17:3)
David said that at night the Lord tests people's hearts and examines them. He also said that God hears your decisions. The morning time, day time, and night time are different; however, the night time is very important. For Remnants, even if they utilize the night time just a little, it'll be of great help.
2. Future Concentration
In doing so, future concentration will surely come out. Because of his brothers, Joseph prayed and received answers(Genesis 37:1~11). For young Moses, who received a message from his mother, an important future emerged(Exodus 2:1~10). Samuel's prayer saw the future, and as a result, none of his words fell to the ground(1 Samuel 3:1~19). While David was praying in the pasture, he heard from Samuel that he would be king(1 Samuel 16:1~13). Elisha knew the future and asked for a double portion of Elijah's spirit(2 Kings 2:9~11). Because Daniel knew the future, he resolved(Daniel 1:8~9). Through you who've been called as an evangelist, the standard of success is that many people will receive the Gospel(2 Timothy 4:1~5).
3. Academic Concentration
As a Remnant, you must have academic concentration within this power. When David was a shepherd, he praised and prayed. He also wrote one-third of Psalm 150. With this power, he developed his skills(Studies). If this order had been altered, great difficulties would've arose.
In the morning, however brief, you need the prayer to gain strength. During the day, you need to do "continuous prayer" that accepts and transcends everything and finds answers. At night, you should begin "concentrated prayer" that sets your life. It may be difficult at first, but once morning; day; and night prayers are set in your life, you'll become a witness to save the world.
[Covenantal Prayer] Dear God, thank you for giving me today. Thank you calling me so that I can pray. Thank you granting me the grace and strength to participate in the work of world evangelization and raising Remnants. Starting now, help me to raise Remnants who'll save the three organizations. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen..
