5) 95퍼센트 남을 위해 사는 책임자가 되라 - 2

그러니 자는 걸 덜 자고, 먹는 걸 초월하고, 시간을 아껴서 위하는 활동을 하고, 찾아가서 본을 보여 주고, 때로는 손을 붙들고 눈물도 흘리고, 기도도 하고, 몸부림을 치며 이 나라를 누가 지키겠느냐고 하면서 애국사상을 불어넣어야 되겠고, 하늘의 사상을 불어넣어야 되겠습니다. 그것은 부모의 사랑, 효자의 사랑, 충신의 사랑, 성인의 사랑, 성자의 사랑과 통한다는 겁니다. 

자, 그렇게 살다가 죽게 된다면, 그가 위하는 모든 무리들이 통곡을 하면서 죽은 것을 진짜 애도하는 눈물을 흘려 줄 수 있는 지상기반이 생겨난다는 것입니다. 동지가 생겨난다는 거예요. 가지가 뻗는다는 거예요.

그래서 여러분의 아들딸이 그런 아버지라고 자랑할 수 있습니다. 하늘땅에 '우리 아버지는 참아버지였다.'고 자랑할 수 있는 조상이 되어야 되겠고, 남편이 되어야 되겠고, 그 나라의 백성이 되어야 되겠고, 세계의 인류가 되어야 되겠고, 하늘나라의 백성이 되어야 되겠습니다. '하늘나라를 대표한 사랑하는 성자였다.'라고 하게 하려면 남을 위해서 사랑을 가지고 눈물을 흘리고 몸부림치는 역사가 있어야 된다구요. 

여러분들! 전도하려면 그 동네에서 일년이 지나고 이년이 지나도록 무감각한 사나이가 될 수 없다는 겁니다. 바윗돌을 붙들고 통곡을 해야 되고, 나무를 붙들고 통곡을 해야 됩니다.

사람을 만나야 할 텐데 사람을 못 만나서 나무나 돌을 붙들고 사연을 얘기할 수 있는 자격도 못 되지만, 내 사정을 얘기하고 통사정을 하며 눈물 지을 때 그 산천이 후원할 수 있게 되면, 거기서 자란 풀과 곡식을 먹고 사는 사람들은 자연히 따라오게 돼 있다는 겁니다. 

여러분들이 책임 맡은 그 지역을 생각할 때 어디 가든지 눈물이 핑돌고, 내가 정성들인 것은 하늘이 잊을래야 잊을 수 없다고 할 수 있을 만큼 마음속에 언제나 보화로 남아 있어야 됩니다. (134-253)

ですから、寝るのは少なく休み、食べることを超越して、時間を惜しんで「ために生きる」活動をし、訪ねていって見本を見せてあげ、時には手を握って涙も流し、祈祷もし、身もだえし、「この国を誰が守るのか」と言いながら愛国思想を吹き込まねばならず、天の思想を吹き込まなければなりません。それは父母の愛、孝子の愛、忠臣の愛、聖人の愛、聖子の愛と通じるのです。

さあ、そのように生きて死ねば、彼が、「ために生きた」すべての群れが痛哭しながら死んだことを、心から哀悼する涙を流してあげられる地上の基盤ができるというのです。同志ができるというのです。枝が伸びるというのです。それで、皆さんの娘、息子たちが、そのような父だといって自慢できるのです。

天と地に、私たちの父は真の父だったと、自慢できる先祖にならなければならないし、夫にならなければならないし、その国の国民にならなければならないし、世界の人類にならなければならないし、天国の民にならなければなりません。「天国を代表した愛する聖子であった」と言わせるためには、人のために愛をもって涙を流し、身もだえする歴史がなければなりません。

皆さん、伝道しようとすれば、その村で一年が過ぎ、二年が過ぎるほど、無感覚な男になることができないというのです。岩にすがって痛哭しなければならないし、木にすがって痛哭しなければなりません。

人に会わなければならないけれど、人に会えず、木や石にすがって事情を話すことのできる資格もないけれども、私の事情を話し、涙を流す時、山や川が後援できるようになれば、そこで育った草と穀物を食べて生きる人は、自然についてくるようになるというのです。

皆さんが、責任を負ったその地域を思う時、どこへ行くにも涙がついて回り、「私が精誠を尽くしたことは、天が忘れようとしても忘れることができない」と言えるくらい、心の中には、いつでも宝として残っていなければなりません。（一三四―二五三）

5) You Should Become a Leader Who Lives for the Sake of Others - 2

So, you should sleep less, overcome eating, be efficient with time to do more activities for the sake of others, become examples for others, and at times you should even hold their hands to cry in tears, to pray and struggle, pleading with them to protect the nation and inspire patriotic and God-centered ideology. This is linked with the love of parents, of filial son, of patriot, of saints, and of sages.
 
If someone really leads this type of life-style, then after he passes away there will be a foundation on the earth, for all whom he cared for will shed tears from the deepest part of their heart and really lament his death. He will have comrades. The branches will be spreading out. So his sons and daughters can be proud of him.

You should become ancestors who will be praised as true father, and become such husbands, citizens of the nation, humanity of the world, and citizens of heaven. If you want to become someone whom others can refer to as "a loving saint that represented heaven," then you must possess altruistic love and must shed tears while struggling hard.
 
Ladies and gentlemen! If you want to witness, then you cannot remain insensitive after spending one and two years in the village. You must weep while clinging on to a rock or holding on to a tree. Since you were supposed to have just met a person but you could not, you do not have the qualifications to even appeal to the rock and tree.

However, when you still tell them your story and lament in tears, if the mountains and rivers can sympathetically support you, then those who grow up eating plants and grains that were harvested from there will naturally follow you.
 
Wherever you go in your region, it should be that you feel the strong urge to cry, and the feeling that your devotion is so deep that even heaven cannot forget it should remain as a treasure in your heart. [134-253]
