<p>Tens of thousands of students in the southeast dealing with school disruption after Hurricane Helen damaged homes and campuses, municipal power water system.</p><p>Some districts havs no idea when they will reopen. </p><p>Virtual learning helped during the covid school  closures.  but that isn't an option now  because internets and  cell phone service is spotty  since the storm  hit in late September </p><p>In hard hit western  North Carolina some districts warned students will miss up to a  month of school.</p><p>another say they can't even figure out a timeline for retruning to the classroom </p><p>I'm Rita  Foley </p>
