성경말씀: 디모데 후서 3~4장

선택하여 부르고 찾아와 가르치는 하나님의 은혜로 생명의 말씀을 듣고 영접하여 그리스도의 대속과 구원에 소망을 두고 믿게 되지만, 말씀에 숨겨두고 성령으로 가르치는 복음의 진리를 올바로 알지 못하면, 전능하신 하나님께서 왜 인간 예수로 세상에 오셔서 십자가에 죽기까지 순종하여 사망의 권세를 깨뜨리고 부활하셨는지 알지 못하고 외면하게 되며, “마지막 날에는 고통스러운 때가 있음을 명심하라. 사람들이 자신과 돈을 사랑하고 자랑하며 교만하고 비방하며 부모를 거역하고 배은망덕하며 거룩하지 않고, 무정하고 원한을 풀지 아니하며 모함하고 절제하지 못하며 잔인하고 선행을 싫어하며, 배신하고 조급하며 자만하고 쾌락을 사랑하며 하나님을 사랑하지 않고, 경건한 모양은 있으나 경건의 능력은 부정하리라 그들과 아무것도 하지 말라(3:1-5)” 하였듯, 헛된 육신의 삶을 좀더 평안하고 안락하게 살려는 욕망에 따라, 인애와 사랑과 절제는 버리고 돈을 사랑하는 어리석은 우상숭배의 죄악에 빠집니다.

Anyone, who hears and accepts the word of life and comes to believe and place their hope in Christ’s atonement and salvation, by the grace of God who chooses, calls, seeks and teaches. But, if anyone who does not correctly understand the truth of the gospel hidden in the words and taught by the Holy Spirit, he should not know why God Almighty came to earth a human being Jesus, and was obedient until death on the cross, and breaking the power of dead and being resurrected, instead, he will surely turn away from it, to his own desires to live a more peaceful and luxurious comfortable life in the vain flesh, they surely be abandon love, charity and self-controls and fall into the foolish sin of idolatry by the love of money, as “Mark this. There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having s form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. (3:1-5)”

왜냐하면 많은 사람들이 자유의지에 들어온 사탄의 유혹으로 말미암은 육신의 저주 때문에, “그들이 남의 집에 가만히 들어가 의지가 연약한 여자들을 유혹하여 온갖 악한 욕망에 이끌리며 죄를 짓게 하리니, 항상 배우지만 끝내 진리는 깨닫지 못함이라. 그들은 얀네와 얌브레가 모세를 대적한 것 같이 부패한 마음과 거짓된 믿음으로 진리를 대적하리라. 그러나 저 두 사람과 같이 그들의 어리석음이 모든 사람에게 드러나므로 크게 성공하지 못하리라(3:6-9)” 하였듯, 복음의 진리를 올바로 배우지 못하고 깨닫지 못하며 진리와 생명의 길을 방해하고 대적하는 사탄의 도구로 전락하고 멸망의 심판으로 떨어지기 때문입니다.

Because of the original sin and curse of the flesh brought about by the Satan’s temptation through our free-will, many people fail to properly learn and understand the truth of the gospel. They fall into the trap of Satan, obstructing and opposing the path of truth and life, and fall into the judgement of destruction, as “They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone. (3:6-9)”

왜냐하면, 전지전능하신 하나님께서 천지간 만물들이 약육강식의 사슬을 따라 살게 만드셨고, 하나님의 에덴동산에 생명의 나무와 선악과를 나란히 두셨으며 사람에게 선택할 자유의지를 주셨던 것은, “나의 모든 교훈과 삶을 네가 알듯이 나의 목적과 믿음과 오래 참음과 사랑과 인내와, 박해와 고난과 안디옥과 이고니온과 루스드라에서 내가 겪은 일들과 견디어 낸 고난들이 있었으나 주께서 그 모든 고난에서 나를 건지셨음이라. 무릇 그리스도 예수 안에서 경건하게 살려고 하는 자는 박해를 받으리라. 악한 자들과 사기꾼들은 더욱더 악해져서 속이기도 하고 속기도 함이라(3:10-13)” 하였듯, 온갖 거짓과 술수에 속지 않고, 곧 죽을 것 같은 고난과 핍박에 좌절하지 않고, 하나님의 언약을 신뢰하며 목숨까지 맡기고 순종하는 자에게만 임마누엘 하나님이 되어 이루시기로 정하신 그리스도의 대속과 구원에 때문입니다.

Because, the Almighty God created all things to live bound by the chains of the law of the jungle, and placed the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil side by side in the Garden of Eden, and gave free-will to humans, it is because of the redemption and salvation of Christ, who decided to become the Immanuel God and fulfill only those who do not fall prey to all kinds of lies and tricks, or who do not sin in the fearful suffering that seems like imminent death, but trust in God’s covenant and commit their lives to God and obey Him until death, as “You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, persecutions, sufferings, what kind of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. (3:10-13)”

그러므로, “누구에게서 배웠는지 알고 있는 너는 배우고 확신한 일에 거하라. 네가 어려서부터 성경을 알았으니 성경은 너로 하여금 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음으로 말미암아 구원에 이르는 지혜를 얻게 함이라. 모든 성경은 하나님의 영감으로 된 것으로 교훈과 책망과 바르게 함과 의로 교육하기에 유익하니, 이는 하나님의 사람으로 온전하게 하며 모든 선한 일을 행할 능력을 갖추게 하려 함이라(3:14-17)” 하였듯, 말씀을 사랑하는 자에게만 신실한 복음 사역자를 보내시고, 성령으로 임하여 그 사람 마음에 새겨진 말씀을 생각나게 하며 양심을 일깨우며 가르치시고, 진리와 책망과 교훈을 따라 믿고 순종하면 임마누엘 하나님이 되어 선하고 의로운 믿음으로 거듭나게 하시고 구원으로 인도하십니다.

Therefore, God sends faithful evangelists to those who love the Word, and the Holy Spirit will reminds the Words engraved in his hearts and teaches the real truth of God, and if he accepted, believe and follows it, then God will become Immanuel with him and leads him to be good and righteous faith to salvation in Christ Jesus, as “As for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (3:14-17)”

그러므로, “반드시 나타나셔서 살아 있는 자와 죽은 자를 심판하시고 그의 나라를 세우실 하나님 앞과 그리스도 예수 앞에서 내가 네게 명하노라. 때를 얻든지 못 얻든지 항상 말씀을 준비하고 전파하라 오래 참고 세심한 교훈으로 꾸짖고 바로잡으며 격려하라. 때가 되면 사람들이 바른 교훈을 참지 못하고 자신의 정욕을 따라 가려운 귀가 원하는 대로 들려줄 스승을 많이 두고, 그 귀를 진리에서 돌이켜 허무한 신화를 쫓으리라. 그러나 너는 모든 상황에 정신을 바짝 차리고 고난을 겁내지 말고 하나님께서 맡기신 전도자의 의무를 수행하라(4:1-5)” 하셨듯, 누구든지 육신으로 살아갈 동안 성령의 가르침으로 배우고 믿는 복음의 진리를 전하며 구원의 믿음으로 인도하는 생명의 열매를 맺으며 죽기까지 순종하지 못하면 심판대에서 믿음을 인정받지 못하고 다시는 기회도 없음을 잊지 말고 두렵고 떨리는 마음으로 구원의 믿음을 지켜야 됩니다.

Therefore, anyone who does not learn and believe in the truth of the gospel through the teachings of the Holy Spirit while living in the flesh, bear the fruit of life that leads to the faith of salvation and obey until death, because, if not he should not recognized his faith at the judgement seat and never be another chance, so we must keep the faith of salvation until death with fearful and trembling hearts, as “In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge. Preach the word, be prepared in season and out of season, correct, rebuke and encourage, with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry. (4:1-5)”

왜냐하면, “나는 이미 부어드린 전제물처럼 떠날 때가 가까움이라. 나는 선한 싸움을 싸우며 달려갈 길을 마쳤고 믿음을 지켰으니, 주께서 의로우신 재판장으로 오시는 날에 나만 아니라 주의 나타나심을 사모하는 모든 자에게도 주실 의의 면류관이 나를 위하여 이미 예비되어 있으리라. 어서 빨리 내게 오라(4:6-9)” 하였듯, 육신이 늙어가면 죽음이 가까워진 것을 누구나 알게 되지만, 십자가에 달리신 예수께서 “엘리 엘리 라마 사박다니(마27:46)” 부르짖어야 했을 만큼, 극심한 공포로 다가오는 육신의 죽음과 마지막 시험에 절망하지 않고, 구원의 언약을 확신하며, “나의 영혼을 아버지 손에 부탁하나이다(눅23:46)” 하고 맡기고 죽으려는 사람들만 영접하러 오시는 구원의 주 하나님을 바라보며 기쁨과 감사와 찬양 속에 숨지고 구원을 얻기 때문입니다.

Because, when the body grows old, everyone knows his death is approaching, but, everyone will be extremely fearful final test while God turns away before death, just as Jesus cried out on the cross, as “Eli, Eli, lamasabachthani? My God, my God, why have you forsaken me. (Matthew27:46)” At that time, no despair yourselves, instead, be confidence for the covenant of God and entrust your selves to God just as Jesus were as “Father into your hands I commit my spirit. (Luke23:46)” Then you should be death with joyful, thankful and praiseful hearts, because, you can see the Savior coming to receive you, as “For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. Do your best to come to me quickly. (4:6-9)”

그런 하나님의 섭리 때문에, “데마는 세상을 사랑하여 나를 버리고 데살로니가로 갔고 그레스켄은 갈라디아로, 디도는 달마디아로 갔느니라. 누가만 나와 함께 있으니 네가 올 때에 내게 유익한 마가를 데리고 오라. 두기고는 에베소로 보냈으니, 네가 올 때에 내가 드로아 가보의 집에 둔 겉옷을 가지고 오고 특별히 가죽 두루마리에 쓴 책을 가져오라(4:10-13)” 하였듯, 많은 사람들이 끝까지 믿음을 지키지 못하고 세상을 사랑하는 삶으로 돌아가며 오직 극 소수만 죽기까지 믿음을 지키고 구원에 이르게 됩니다.

So many peoples could not properly understand as that God’s providence, and fail to maintain his faith until the end but returns to love the worldly life, only a very few number maintain their faith until death and attain salvation in Christ, as “For Demas, because he loved this world, has deserted me and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia. Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is helpful to me in my ministry. I sent Tychicus to Ephesus. When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, and my scrolls, especially the parchments. (4:10-13)”

그러므로 “내게 많은 해를 입힌 금속 세공사 알렉산더가 행한 대로 주께서 그에게 갚으시리라. 그가 우리의 복음을 강하게 반대하였으니 너도 그를 조심하라. 내가 처음 변론할 때에 나와 함께 한 자가 하나도 없었고 다 나를 버렸으나 그들에게 허물을 돌리지 않기를 원하노라. 나로 말미암아 선포된 말씀이 온전히 전파되어 모든 이방인이 듣게 하시려고 주께서 내 곁에서 나에게 힘을 주시고 사자의 입에서도 건지셨음이라. 모든 악한 공격에서 주께서 나를 건지시고 그의 천국으로 안전하게 데려가시리라 그에게 영광이 세세토록 있으리라 아멘(4:14-18)” 하였듯, 그리스도 복음의 진리를 올바로 전하는 가운데 당하는 악한 자들의 방해와 핍박에 돕는 사람도 없고 홀로 감당해야 할지라도, 신실하신 하나님께서 동행하며 이길 힘을 주시고 건져내며 영생으로 인도하심을 확신하며 죽기까지 순종해야 구원을 얻습니다. 성도 여러분 그처럼 올바른 믿음으로 구원과 영생 얻기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

Therefore, we must correctly preach the truth of gospel of Christ Jesus, even when we suffer extreme persecution and hardship from the wicked and have no one to help us, we must be sure that the faithful God will accompany us, give us strength, rescue us, and lead us to eternal life, and we must obey until death to obtain salvation, as “Alexander the metalworker did me great deal of harm. The Lord will repay him for what he has done. You too should be on your guard against him, because he strongly opposed our message. At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. May, it not be held against them. But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion’s mouth. The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory forever and ever. Amen. (4:14-18)” Dear saints, I pray earnestly in the name of Jesus Christ that you may attain salvation and eternal life with the right faith that is worthy of God’s will. Amen.
