거의 모든 그리스도인들이 언약의 말씀을 사랑하며 구원을 확신하지만, “그의 안식에 들어갈 약속이 남아 있더라도 너희 중에 들어가지 못하는 자로 드러나지 않도록 조심하라. 우리에게 전하신 복음을 그들도 똑같이 받았으나 그들이 들은 말씀을 믿음과 결합하지 아니하므로 가치가 없게 되었음이라. 하나님께서 내가 진노하여 그들은 결코 내 안식에 들어오지 못하리라 맹세하며 선포하셨으나 하나님께서 세상을 창조하실 때부터 그 일이 다 이루어졌으므로 이미 믿는 우리들은 그의 안식에 들어가리라. 어딘가 일곱째 날에 관하여 하나님께서 일곱째 날에 그의 모든 일을 쉬셨다 말씀하셨으나, 그들은 내 안식에 들어오지 못하리라 다른 곳에서 다시 말씀하셨음이라(4:1-5)” 하였듯, 하나님의 뜻대로 죽기까지 순종하지 못하면 인정하지 않는 심판의 법칙 때문에, 천국의 영생 즉 하나님의 안식에 들어가지 못합니다.

Almost of Christians love the words of the covenant and are assured of their salvation, but if anyone who does not obey God’s will until death, he cannot enter the eternal life in heaven, that is God’s rest, because he could not recognized his belief by the law of judgement, as “Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you found to have fallen short of it. For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did, but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed. Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said, ‘So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest. And yet his works have been finished since the creation of the world. For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words. ‘On the seventh day God rested from al his works. And again in the passage above he says, ‘They shall never enter my rest. (4:1-5)”

왜냐하면, “복음을 먼저 전하여 받은 자들은 순종하지 않아 들어가지 못하였으나 안식에 들어갈 자들이 남아 있으므로, 하나님께서 다시 어느 날을 정하시고 오랜 후에 다윗을 통하여 오늘 너희가 그의 음성을 듣거든 마음을 강퍅하게 하지 말라 말씀하셨음이라. 만일 여호수아가 그들에게 안식을 주었다면 그 후에 하나님께서 다른 날을 말씀하시지 않았으리라. 그러므로 하나님의 백성에게는 안식할 날이 남아 있고, 하나님의 안식에 들어간 자는 하나님이 자기의 일을 쉬심과 같이 그도 자기의 일을 쉬게 되므로, 우리가 저 안식에 들어가기를 힘쓰자 그러면 아무도 저 불순종의 본을 따라 넘어지지 아니하리라(4:6-11)” 하였듯, 복음의 진리를 사랑하며 스스로 자유의지를 포기하여 맡기고 순종해야만 사용하며 이루시는 임마누엘 섭리 때문입니다.

Because, it is the providence of Immanuel God that uses and fulfills only those who love the truth of the gospel, and surrender his own free-wills and obey to God, as “Therefore, since it still remains for some to enter that rest, and since those who formerly had the good news proclaimed to them did not go in because of their disobedience. God again set a certain day, calling it ‘Today. This he did when a long time later he spoke through David, as in the passage already quoted. Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts. For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God. For anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience. (4:6-11)”

그러므로 “하나님의 말씀은 살아 있고 활력이 있어 어떤 양날의 검보다 예리하여 혼과 영과 관절과 골수를 찔러 쪼개며 마음의 생각과 뜻을 판단하므로, 지으신 것이 하나도 그 앞에 나타나지 않음이 없고 우리의 결산을 받으실 이의 눈 앞에 만물이 벌거벗은 것처럼 드러나서 직고하리라. 그러므로 우리에게는 하늘로 올라가신 위대한 대제사장 하나님의 아들 예수께서 계시니 우리가 고백하는 믿음을 굳게 잡자. 우리에게는 연약함을 동정하지 못하는 대제사장이 계시지 않고 죄없이 우리와 똑같이 모든 시험을 받으신 대제사장을 우리에게 주셨으므로, 때를 따라 우리를 도우시는 은혜와 자비를 확신하며 은혜의 보좌 앞으로 나아가자(4:12-16)” 하였듯, 예수께서 걸어가신 십자가의 죽음과 부활에 숨겨진 영생의 길을 신뢰하며 하나님께 자신의 영혼을 맡기고 죽기까지 순종해야 됩니다.

Therefore, we must trust in the path to eternal life hidden in the death and resurrection of Jesus on the cross, and entrust our soul to God, and obey Him until death, as “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow, it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (4:12-16)”

그래서, “대제사장은 모두 사람들 중에서 선택되어 하나님께 속한 예물과 속죄의 제사를 드리게 하셨으나, 그 자신도 연약에 휩싸였으므로 무지하고 길 잃은 자들을 온유하게 대할 수 있으나, 마땅히 자신과 백성들의 죄를 위하여 속죄제를 드려야 함이라. 아무도 그런 영광을 스스로 취하지 못하고 오직 아론과 같이 하나님의 부르심을 받아야 하므로, 그리스도께서도 대제사장 되는 영광을 스스로 취하시지 않았고 하나님께서 그에게 너는 내 아들이라 오늘 내가 너를 낳았다 하셨고, 또 다른 곳에서 네가 영원히 멜기세덱의 반차에 따른 제사장이라 하셨음이라(5:1-6)” 하였듯, 예수께서도 십자가에 죽기까지 순종하여 대제사장이 되셨다 증거합니다.

So, that the Bible testified that Jesus became a high priest by being obedient even to death on the cross, as “Every high priest is selected from among the people and is appointed to represent the people in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he himself is subject to weakness. This is why he has to offer sacrifices for his own sins, as well as for the sins of the people. And no one takes this honor on himself, but he receives it when called by God, just as Aaron was. In the same way, Christ did not take on himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him, ‘You are my Son, today I have become your Father. And he says in another place, ‘You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. (5:1-6)”

또한 사람의 의지와 노력으로는 결코 이룰 수 없는 믿음과 구원이기 때문에, “그는 육체에 계실 때에 자기를 죽음에서 능히 구원하실 이에게 심한 통곡과 눈물로 간구와 소원을 올렸고 그의 경건한 순종으로 말미암아 들으심을 얻었음이라. 그가 아들이라도 고난을 받으며 배우신 순종으로, 온전하게 되셨으니 자기에게 순종하는 모든 자에게 영원한 구원의 근원이 되셨고, 하나님께서 멜기세덱의 반차에 따른 대제사장으로 임명하셨음이라(5:7-10)” 하였듯, 간구하여 맡기고 순종해야만 사용하고 이루시는 임마누엘 은혜의 법칙을 예비하셨고 가르치십니다.

Furthermore, since faith and salvation can never be achieved through human will and effort, so that the Lord God prepared and teaches the law of Immanuel Grace in Christ, He will be uses and accomplished to whom, those who have entrust himself to God with prayer and humbly obey to Him until death, as “During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered, and once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him. And was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek. (5:7-10)”

왜냐하면, “우리가 죽음에 이르는 악한 행실을 회개하고 하나님에 대한 믿음의 기초를 다시 놓으려는 그리스도에 관한 초보적인 가르침에서 벗어나 성숙함에 이르자. 세례와 안수와 죽은 자의 부활과 영원한 심판에 관한 교훈을 따르자. 하나님께서 허락하시면 우리가 그렇게 하리라. 한번 빛을 받아 깨닫고 하늘의 은사를 맛보는 성령을 받았으며, 하나님의 선한 말씀을 맛보고 내세의 능력을 경험하고서, 하나님을 떠난 자들은 다시는 회개하거나 돌이킬 수 없으니 그들이 하나님의 아들을 드러내 놓고 거역하므로 다시 십자가에 못 박아 공개적으로 모욕하였음이라(6:1-6)” 하였듯, 누구나 성경 말씀으로 죄를 깨닫고 회개하여 그리스도의 대속으로 성령께서 가르치는 진리를 따라 믿게 되지만, 성령의 진리와 능력을 따라 순종하던 올바르고 신실한 믿음조차 한 순간에 버리고 떠나며 타락하는 자유의지 때문입니다.

Because, everyone realizes their sins through the words of the Bible, repents and believes according to the truth taught by the Holy Spirit through Christ’s atonement, but even the right and faithful faith that obeys the truth and power of the Holy Spirit, can be abandoned and corrupted in an instant due to free-will, as “Therefore, let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God. Instruction about clearing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgement. And God permitting, we will do so. It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gifts, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. (6:1-6)”

그래서 “자주 내리는 비를 흡수하여 농부들에게 합당한 작물을 생산하는 땅은 하나님께 복을 받으나, 만일 가시와 엉겅퀴를 내는 땅은 쓸모 없어 불타버리는 저주를 받음이라. 사랑하는 자들아 우리가 이같이 말하지만 너희에게는 그보다 더 좋은 구원이 있음을 확신하노라. 하나님은 불의가 없으시니 너희가 하나님의 백성들을 도왔고 지금도 도우며 나타낸 너희 사랑을 잊지 않으심이라. 너희 각 사람의 부지런한 사랑을 끝까지 나타내고 소망이 확실하게 이루어지길 바라노라. 너희가 게으르지 않고 믿음과 오래 참음으로 약속들을 기업으로 받은 자들을 본받기를 바라노라(6:7-12)” 완곡하게 가르치며 권고합니다.

So, that the Lord God is gently teaches and advises us through the Words of today, as “Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. ii the end it will be burned. Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are convinced of better things in your case, the things that have to do with salvation. God is not unjust, he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. (6:7-12)”

그러므로 “하나님이 아브라함에게 약속하실 때에 자기보다 더 큰 이가 없으므로 자기를 가리켜 맹세하시며, 내가 반드시 너에게 복을 주고 많은 자손을 주리라 하셨으며, 아브라함이 오래 참고 기다려서 약속을 받았음이라. 사람들이 자신들보다 위대한 자를 가리켜 맹서함은 맹서로 모든 논쟁을 종식시키고 확증함이라. 약속을 기업으로 받는 자들에게 하나님의 뜻이 변함이 없음을 분명하게 보이시려고 맹서로 확증하셨음이라(6:13-17)” 하였듯, 모든 사람에게 자신의 뜻을 가르치고 약속하며 반드시 이루시는 신실하신 하나님이지만, 사람에게 자유의지를 주셨으므로, 언약을 신뢰하며 자신을 맡기고 순종하며 기다려야만 임마누엘 하나님이 되어 사용하고 이루십니다.

Therefore, God is a faithful God who teaches and promises His will to all people and always keeps it, but He gave people free-will, so only when they trust in the covenant, entrust themselves to Him, and obey and wait Him, then can He become Immanuel God with him and uses and fulfills in him, as “When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, saying, ‘I will surely bless you and give you many descendants. And so, after waiting patiently Abraham received what was promised. People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirm‎s what is said and puts and end to all argument. Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature4 of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, be confirmed it with and oath. (6:13-17)”

그래서 “거짓말을 못하시는 하나님의 변함없는 언약과 맹서 두 가지로 우리가 큰 용기와 소망을 얻어 피난처를 찾게 하셨음이라. 그 소망이 우리에게 영혼의 닻과 같이 튼튼하고 견고하여 휘장 안 지성소에 들어 가게 함이라. 예수께서 우리보다 먼저 들어가셔서 우리를 위하여 멜기세덱의 반차에 따라 영원히 대제사장이 되셨음이라(6:18-20)” 하였듯, 전능하신 하나님께서 사람 예수로 세상에 오셨고, 십자가에 죽기까지 순종하여 사망의 권세를 깨뜨리고 부활하며 영생하는 생명의 길을 보여주고 가르치며 따라오게 하셨습니다. 사랑하는 성도 여러분, 구원의 언약을 믿고 신뢰하며 간구하여 임마누엘 하나님 성령의 가르침과 인도에 자신을 맡기고 죽기까지 순종하고 구원을 얻어 부활하고 영생하기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

So, Almighty God came to the world as the man Jesus, and by obeying even to the point of death on the cross, He broke the power of death, and showed us the way to resurrection and eternal life in Him, teaching us to follow Him, as “God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hole of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain. Where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. (6:18-20)” Dear saints, I pray earnestly in the name of Jesus Christ that you may believe in the covenant of salvation, trust in it, and pray that you may entrust yourselves to the teachings and guidance of the Holy Spirit of God, Immanuel, and obey until death, be resurrected, enter heaven, and live forever. Amen.
