Minutes for the 2nd Staff Meeting for English Actually |
n Date: May.1st
n Place: Starbucks at Yeoui-do
n Participants: Clint, Alan, Mackay, Jayoung(above for Thursday), Jun, Gypsy, Won(above for Wednesday) and Kee(Organizer)
1. Newcomer Invitation Policy
- Qualification: From Undergraduate(Senior) to office worker
- Entrance Fee for Newcomer: 5,000KRW
(The money will be used only for group members’ public interest)
- Procedure:
① Applicants send application form to an organizer(Mr. Kee)
② Organizer will deliver the application form to the staffs who are charged for interviewing the applicants
③ The interviewer will interview applicants according to the semi-structured questionnaire or guideline.
④ The interviewer will send an e-mail(confirmation letter or sorry letter) to the each applicant.
2. Newcomer Interview Policy
- Interviewer: There are to be 2 interviewers (One for Wed. and the other for Thu.)
The interviewer is to be appointed among E.A. staffs and changeable monthly

(The organizer is to make up the guideline or questionnaire)
- Frequency: Once a month (Subject to be flexible in accordance with situation)

3. Membership Policy

Note: To become a fellow, you should participate in off-line meeting at least 2 months, and then you should have a presentation in front of members.
(The presentation will officially start from May and E.A. staffs will do it first during 3-minute speech session.)
4. Re-organizing of Groups and its members
- Each group and its members will be reorganized according to the specific criteria.
- Basically, the criteria will be
① Activity period
② Participation persistency
③ Others which are needed to make discussion efficient
And, this is to remove uncertainty of off-line meeting.
- In the long run, we will have fellow group and non-fellow group.
- One of fellow members who belongs to fellow group performs a presider’s role in Non-fellow group every week and the aim for this is to guide the discussion smoothly and lead non-fellows and new members in a proper way.
- The member, who belongs to non-fellow group and attends an off-line meeting consistently, can move to fellow group after conducting a presentation.
5. Topic
- Wed. Group and Thu. Group are to submit discussion topics monthly in turns(in a month shifts)
- Thu. Groups(Indigo & Violet) will submit Topic for May and the due date is by every Friday. (Topic for June will handled by Crimson & Indy)
- Topic categories are unlimited, flexible as members want.
6. Staff meeting
- Staff meeting is to be held on every first Saturday in every month.
- The staffs for Violet & Indigo are to be responsible for the next month’s staff meeting.
- From next meeting, the communication language will be English.
