Check Yes or No - George Strait (Country Cover) - Song lyrics - I found a dusty shoebox in my mama's room last June A faded strip of paper and a half-chewed silver spoon A ribbon from her high school days, a ticket stub from '85 And underneath it all, a note that brought my mama's eyes alive The handwriting was shaky like a seventh grader's would be It said dear Betty, meet me where the creek bends by the tree I asked my daddy about it later, sitting on the porch He pulled out half a cigarette, lit up the dying torch Would you save me Would you save me from this lonely life And if you will, then draw a circle around the answer be my wife If you love me still, I think this is how real love goes Check yes or no My mama never told me that my daddy wrote that line She said he was the shyest boy, I had to make the first move sign But thirty years went screaming by, this house still feels alive Every time I see 'em dancing in the kitchen at age 55 I ask my daddy if he'd do it all again the same He laughed and said, son, every scar and every ounce of pain That note's been in your mama's drawer since I was just a kid And I've pulled another thousand just to see the way she did Would you save me Would you save me from this lonely life And if you will, then draw a circle around the answer be my wife If you love me still, I think this is how real love goes Check yes or no Would you save me Would you save me from this lonely life And if you will, then draw a circle around the answer be my wife If you love me still, I think this is how real love goes Check yes or no Check yes or no Check yes or no Check yes or no 25.10.13. 바위섬 Rock Island
