고블린 부락은 이미 불타고 있었지만, 그 재 속에서 또 다른 무리들이 튀어나왔다.

그때 땅이 흔들렸다.

바이퍼 군단의 거대한 개체가 나타났다.

첫 번째, 두 번째, 세 번째 한 번에 끝내지 못했지만, 마침내 세 머리 중 하나가 꺾이며 땅에 떨어졌다.

레드는 나머지 두 머리를 붙잡아 불길과 전류를 동시에 터뜨렸다.

나는 그 순간 꼬리를 휘둘러 머리들을 땅에 처박았다.

피와 불길, 독의 안개가 한꺼번에 터져나왔다.

마침내 괴물의 몸이 비틀리며 무너졌다.

세 머리 중 두 개가 잘려 나가고, 마지막 하나는 검게 타올라 재로 변했다.

우리는 숨을 몰아쉬며 서로를 바라봤다.
