Before Christ's death on the cross and resurrection, we were partakers of flesh and blood. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.
But by God's great mercy, Jesus Christ came to this earth, bearing flesh and blood. Through His death on the cross and resurrection, He destroyed the one who holds the power of death—the devil—and He transferred and upheld into Christ all those who, through fear of death, were held in bondage all their lives. He sat at the right hand of God and sent the Spirit of truth into us.
This Spirit of truth is the Spirit of Christ and the Spirit of life.
Because the Spirit of Christ dwells in us, we are Christians, and because the Spirit of Christ, the Son of God dwells in us, we are children of God.
We have eternal life in Christ.
As born again from heaven, we see the glory of God's kingdom. Born again of water and the Spirit, we enter the kingdom of God.
Hallelujah.
God transferred us, who were dead in trespasses and sins in Adam, into Christ, made us alive with Christ, raised us up with him, and made us sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Therefore, we are called holy brothers, partaker of the heavenly calling.
We have become God's house, where God's Spirit dwells.
We are God's temple, where God's glory dwells.
We are the temple of the Holy Spirit, where the Holy Spirit dwells.
The Bible tells us that while we were slaves to sin and death in fallen Adam, we have been transferred into new life in Christ through the grace of the redemption of the cross of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death, buried with him, and made alive with him.
Therefore, we must consider ourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.
We are one body with Christ through baptism.
His death is my death, his burial is my burial, his resurrection is my resurrection, and his ascension is my ascension.
Hallelujah.
Are you alive in Christ Jesus? Are you dead in trespasses and sins in Adam? Jesus Christ will come to judge the living and the dead at the last trumpet. The living will be resurrection of life and will be with Jesus Christ forever and the dead, who have death in their trespasses and sins will be resurrection of death and thrown into the lake of fire.
Today, the these last day, the day the Holy Spirit speaks to us, this day is the day of salvation.
In the wilderness, Israel, with their unbelieving and wicked hearts, hardened their hearts when they heard God's voice and could not enter his rest.
We must not harden our hearts with unbelieving and wicked hearts, but open the doors of our hearts when we hear the voice of the Son and receive Christ in us. Christ come in and eats with us, and we eat with Christ. Therefore, we overcome sin, death, the flesh, and the world.
Glory, glory, hallelujah, glory, hallelujah.
Glory, glory, hallelujah, glory, glory, hallelujah.
We have victory. We sit on the throne with the Lord.
Today if the Son dwells in the Father, we in the Son, and the Son in us, Christ the Son becomes to us righteousness, holiness, goodness, and redemption. Through faith with baptism, we receive righteousness from God, have peace with Him, and come before the glory of God.
In Hebrews, it means boldly approaching the throne of grace.
In John 4, it means worshiping God in spirit and truth.
In the Old Testament temple, priest pass the altar of burnt offering, the laver, and then enter the first sanctuary, where we eat the showbread by the light of the golden lampstand, burn the altar of incense, and enter the Most Holy Place with the altar of incense, approaching the throne of grace.
The Old Testament temple is a shadow of Christ. Christ Jesus is the reality.
We are partakers of Christ.
We are one with Christ and, through Jesus Christ, one with God.
Glory, glory, hallelujah, glory, hallelujah.
Glory, glory, hallelujah, glory, glory, hallelujah.
We enter into his rest, being mixed in the word that we have heard and in faith.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I give you my rest. Come and learn from me, for my yoke is easy and light, says the Lord.
As we believe in him, we must learn from him.
By taking with his yoke, we must enter into His rest.
We must continue to learn to be sanctified by the truth, to come to his glory, to be one with God through Christ, and to be perfect, to be love.
Only then can we become the salt and light of the world.
