24 “Then from his presence the hand was sent, and this writing was inscribed. 25 And this is the writing that was inscribed: Mene, Mene, Tekel, and Parsin. 26 This is the interpretation of the matter: Mene, God has numberedthe days of your kingdom and brought it to an end; 27 Tekel, you have been weighedin the balances and found wanting; 28 Peres, your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.” Daniel 5
" 그때 그 앞쪽으로 손이 나왔고, 이 쓰는것이 각인되었습니다. 이것이 각인된 그 손글귀인데 : 메네, 메네, 데겔, 파리신. 이것이 그 문제의 해석입니다 : 메내, 하나님(신)이 당신왕국의 날을 새었고,, 그것이 끝에 다다랐습니다; 데겔, 당신은 저울에 달려졌고,, 부족함이 발견되었습니다; 파레서, 당신왕국이 나뉘어져서,, 메데와 페르시아인들에게 주어진바 되었습니다." 다니엘 5 :24-27

“This nation will be brought to its knees. For the handwriting on the wall has been seen. It has been inscribed by my Spirit, says the Lord. The winds will sweep across the land and the coasts will change their appearance. Woe to you who say that promised days are ahead. Woe to those who say that all is well. For you have indeed, been weighed in the balance and found wanting.
" 이 나라가 그 무릎을 꿇게 될 것이다. 이는 벽에 그 손글귀가 보였음이라. 그것이 내 영에 새겨졌다, 주의 말입니다. 바람들이 그 육지면을 휩쓸어 갈것이고, 그 해안가들은 그 외관이 변할 것이다. 앞에 약속의 날들이 있다고 말하는 자들에게 화 있을찐저. 모든것이 좋다고 말하는 자들에게 화 있을찐저. 이는 너희가 정령, 저울에 달리어졌고,, 부족함이 발견되었음이라.
Would that you had seen the writing upon the wall before it was too late. Would that you had been prepared. For it will come as a surprise when you least expect it. It will come when your attention is diverted elsewhere. You have grown so proud of your accomplishments! I stand upon the canopy of your land and I see everything. I see the killings. I see the hatred and the bloodshed. I see the prejudice. Your freedoms will be lost. Your statue that stands in the harbor will be toppled. Who will you cry out to on that day? Surely, your government will help you! I tell you that very few that stand in the pulpits today would have warned you of these things. Beware, those who live on the coasts. For your destruction will come quickly. But to those who put their trust in my wings, you will be like Joseph and Mary who were warned in a dream what to do.”
너희가 너무 늦기전에,, 그 벽에 쓰인 글귀를 보았었길을. 너희가 준비되었었길을. 이는 그 일이 너희가 전혀 예측치 못할 때에 닥칠것이기 때문이다. 그 일이 있을것이다,, 너희 시선이 어떤 다른곳으로 돌려져 있을때에. 너희가 너희의 이룬것들로 너무 자만해졌다! 내가 너희 육지면 양탄자위에 서서 모든것을 본다. 내가 그 죽음들을 본다. 내가 그 증오들과 그 피흘림을 본다. 내가 그 편견을 본다. 너희의 자유들이 상실 될 것이다. 너희 그 자유의 여신상,, 그 항구에 서 있는,, 그것이 탁 엎어질 것이다. 너희가 그날에게 누구에게 외쳐 부르짖을것이냐 ? 확실히 너희 정부가 너힐 도울것이다! 내가 말한다,, 오늘 날 강단에 서 있는 아주 거의가 이러한 것들을 경고지 않았을것이다. 정령코,, 너희 정부가 너희를 도울것이냐 ? 경계해라(주의해라), 해안가에 사는 자들아. 이는 너희 파괴함이 급속히 올것이기 때문이다. 히자만 그들 믿음을 내 날개아래에 둔 자들, 너희는 요셉과 마리아와 같을것이다,, 꿈속에서 어떻할지를 경고 받았던..
