🇺🇸 Discovering Korean History at Haemieupseong Fortress 🇰🇷

At Buseoksa Temple, we experienced Korea’s Buddhist culture. At Haemieupseong Fortress, we stepped into the history and traditions of the Joseon Dynasty. And our next destination will be Mallipo Beach, where we will watch an air show by the Republic of Korea Air Force.

In a single day, we decided to experience several very different faces and periods of Korea, one journey at a time.

After leaving the thousand-year-old Buseoksa Temple, our next stop was Haemieupseong Fortress.

Walking along its historic walls and traditional buildings, we explored the daily life and history of the Joseon period, as well as its military culture.

Perhaps because we are martial artists, it was impossible for us to simply walk past the old weapons and figures of soldiers without stopping. 😄
We took photos, asked questions, exchanged thoughts, and enjoyed discovering another fascinating side of Korean history and tradition.

Today’s journey began at an ancient Buddhist temple and continued to a fortress from the Joseon Dynasty. Rather than simply reading about history or seeing it in pictures, we were able to walk through these places and experience Korean history and culture firsthand.

And the day is not over yet.

Now we are heading to Mallipo Beach to watch the Republic of Korea Air Force air show! ✈️🇰🇷

From a thousand-year-old temple to a Joseon fortress,
and now to modern aircraft soaring through the sky….

No Templo Buseoksa, conhecemos um pouco da cultura budista coreana. Agora, na Fortaleza de Haemieupseong, entramos em contato com a história e as tradições da Dinastia Joseon. E o próximo destino será a Praia de Mallipo, onde assistiremos a uma apresentação aérea da Força Aérea da República da Coreia.

Em um único dia, decidimos conhecer e vivenciar diferentes épocas e diferentes faces da Coreia, uma a uma.

Depois de deixar o milenar Templo Buseoksa, nossa próxima parada foi a Fortaleza de Haemieupseong.

Caminhando entre suas antigas muralhas e construções tradicionais, conhecemos um pouco da vida e da história do período Joseon, além da cultura militar daquela época.

Talvez por sermos praticantes de artes marciais, foi impossível simplesmente passar pelas antigas armas e figuras dos soldados sem parar. 😄
Tiramos fotos, fizemos perguntas, conversamos bastante e nos divertimos conhecendo mais um aspecto fascinante da história e da tradição coreana.

A viagem de hoje começou em um antigo templo budista e seguiu até uma fortaleza da Dinastia Joseon. Mais do que simplesmente conhecer a história através de livros ou fotografias, tivemos a oportunidade de caminhar por esses lugares e sentir de perto a história e a cultura da Coreia.

E o dia ainda não terminou.

Agora seguimos para a Praia de Mallipo, onde vamos assistir ao show aéreo da Força Aérea da República da Coreia! ✈️🇰🇷

De um templo com mais de mil anos para uma fortaleza da Dinastia Joseon,
e agora para os aviões modernos cruzando os céus….

🇰🇷 해미읍성에서 만난 한국의 역사 🇧🇷

앞의 부석사에서는 한국의 불교문화를 만나고, 이번 해미읍성에서는 조선시대의 역사와 전통을 살펴본다.

그리고 다음 여정은 만리포 해변에서 펼쳐지는 공군 에어쇼.

하루 동안 서로 다른 시대와 모습을 간직한 한국을 하나씩 직접 보고 느껴보기로 했다.

천년고찰 부석사를 떠나 다음으로 찾은 곳은 해미읍성.

오랜 세월을 간직한 성벽과 전통 건축물 사이를 걸으며 조선시대 사람들의 생활과 역사, 그리고 당시의 군사문화를 함께 살펴보았다.

특히 무술을 하는 사람들이라 그런지 옛 무기와 군사들의 모습 앞에서는 그냥 지나치기가 어렵다. 😄

사진도 찍고, 이것저것 묻고 이야기하며 한국의 역사와 전통을 즐겁게 경험했다.

오늘의 여행은 사찰에서 시작하여 조선시대의 성곽으로 이어졌다. 책이나 사진으로 보는 것이 아니라, 그 공간을 직접 걷고 바라보며 한국의 역사와 문화를 몸으로 느껴보는 시간이었다.

그리고 여기서 끝이 아니다.

이제 만리포 해변으로 이동하여 공군 에어쇼를 보러 간다! ✈️🇰🇷

천년의 사찰에서 조선의 성곽으로,
그리고 이제 하늘을 가르는 현대의 비행기까지….

과거에서 현재로 이어지는 한국 여행은 계속된다. 😊
