​A: I went to my cousin's wedding last weekend./ B: How was it? I've never been to a wedding ceremony in Korea.
A: It was fantastic. The venue was beautiful, and the ceremony was lovely./ B: I love weddings. So, who officiated the wedding?
A: Actually, there wasn't an official officiant. But his father gave a short speech. It was quite touching and meaningful.
​A: I'm sure they had lots of Korean food there./  B: You guessed it! And people loved it.
A: I'm not surprised. What exactly did they serve?
B: The noodles were a big hit. They symbolize longevity and a good life, I heard./ A: I didn't know that. That's a nice touch.
​A: You know, wedding ceremonies in the States are quite different./  B: Really? How so?
A: The reception is usually very big, with lots of dancing and a live band./ B: That sounds fun. What else is different?
A: There are often speeches from the best man and the maid of honor./ B: I see. No wonder their wedding ceremonies take longer.
​A: The couple registered for gifts at different stores, so guests knew exactly what to buy./  B: That sounds so organized.
A: It actually makes things easier and ensures they get what they need.
B: True, that does sound practical. What kind of stuff do they usually ask for?
A: Mostly household items like kitchenware, bedding, and appliances.
​A: I've heard that wedding receptions in America are quite something.
B: Absolutely! There's often a live band, and sometimes a DJ takes over later./  A: That sounds like a blast.
B: Oh, for sure! The bride usually has this emotional dance with her father. It always gets everyone teary-eyed.
A: Wow, that's so touching.
 

A: Have you tried homemade ice cream?/  B: Of course!/  A: It's the best!/  B: I couldn't agree more.
A: Can I buy that game console?/  B: Why?/  A: To relieve stress./  B: I see your point.
A: The service was terrible./  B: Tell me about it./  A: Let's not go there./  B: Yeah, let's not.
A: Peter has been doing well!/  B: No doubt!/  A: I'm so proud of him./  B: Me, too!
A: Let's limit screen time./  B: Yeah, we should. We're on the same page./  A: Good!
