True Faith to Serve with True Love according to Truth of Holy Spirit

성경말씀: 베드로 전서 3~5장

Scripture Reading: 1Peter 3~5

본문에서 “아내들아 남편에게 순종하라 말씀을 믿지 않는 자라도 아내의 경건한 행실로 말미암아 회심하게 되리라. 그들이 너희의 순수하고 경건한 삶을 봄이라. 너희는 머리를 땋고 금 장식이나 아름다운 옷으로 외모를 단장하지 말고, 오직 하나님 앞에 가장 소중하고 값진 온유하고 조용한 내면의 자아로 단장하라. 예전에 하나님께 소망을 두었던 거룩한 여인들도 자기 남편에게 순종하며 자신을 아름답게 꾸몄으니, 사라가 아브라함을 주라 칭하며 순종한 것처럼 너희가 선을 행하며 두려움에 굴복하지 아니하면 그의 딸이 되리라(3:1-6)” 하였듯, 말씀과 성령으로 가르치는 복음의 진리를 따라 순종하는 진실한 사랑으로 믿지 않는 사람들을 구원으로 인도해야 올바른 믿음입니다.

For the True faith to serve with true love, obeying the truth of the gospel taught by the Word and the Holy Spirit, and to lead non-believers to salvation in Christ, as “Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives. When they see the purity and reverence of your lives. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. For this is the way the holy woman of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves. They submitted themselves to their own husbands, Like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear. (3:1-6)”

그래서 “남편들아 생명의 은혜를 함께 받을 연약한 배우자인 너희 아내를 존중하며 동거하라 그리하면 너희 기도가 막히지 아니하리라. 끝으로 너희가 형제처럼 서로 화합하며 자비롭고 겸손하게 동정하고 사랑하라. 너희가 상속받을 복으로 부르심을 받았으니 욕을 욕으로 악을 악으로 갚지 말고 도리어 축복하라. 생명을 사랑하고 좋은 날 보기를 원하는 사람은 혀를 악에서 입을 거짓말에서 지키라. 악에서 떠나 선을 행하고 화평을 이루며 지키라. 주는 의인을 살피시고 의인의 간구에 귀를 기울이시며 주의 얼굴은 악한 자들을 대적하심이라(3:7-12)” 하였듯, 언제 어디서나 겸손하게 자신을 낮추고 상대를 존중하고 배려하며 축복하고 화합하며 화평을 이루는 삶으로 하나님의 도움을 받으라 가르칩니다.

So, the Scripture taught us to be humbly to respect and care for others with love and to bless and unite everyone within the help of God anytime anywhere, as “Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live as your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hider your prayers. Finally, all of you, be like minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. For, Whoever, would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good, they must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. (3:7-12)”

왜냐하면 “너희가 열심히 선행하면 누가 너희를 해하겠느냐, 너희가 의를 위하여 고난을 받으면 보상을 받으리라 두려워하거나 겁내지 말라. 너희 마음에 그리스도를 주로 삼아 거룩하게 하고 너희 속에 있는 소망에 관하여 묻는 자에게는 온유와 두려움으로 대답할 것을 항상 준비하라. 양심을 깨끗하게 지키라 그리스도 안에 있는 너희의 선행을 악하다 비방하는 자들이 부끄러워하게 되리라. 선을 행함으로 고난 받는 것이 하나님의 뜻이므로 악을 행하다 고난을 받는 것보다 나음이라(3:13-17)” 하였듯, 그처럼 선하고 의로운 삶으로만 그리스도 복음의 진실한 증인이 되어 많은 사람을 구원의 믿음으로 인도하기 때문입니다.

Because, we can become true witness of the gospel of Christ, and leads many people to the faith of salvation through his goodness, righteousness, and humbleness lives only, as “Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear their threats, do not be frightened. But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. Keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. (3:13-17)”

그래서 “그리스도께서 우리를 하나님 앞으로 인도하시려고 단번에 죄를 위하여 죽으시고 의인으로서 불의한 자를 대신하셨으며 육체로는 죽임을 당하셨으나 영으로는 살리심을 받으셨고, 그가 영으로 감옥에 갇힌 영들에게 복음을 전하셨음이라. 그들은 전에 노아가 방주를 준비할 동안 하나님이 오래 참고 기다리셨어도 복종하지 않던 자들이라 방주로 물에서 구원을 얻은 자가 여덟 명이라. 그 물은 예수 그리스도께서 부활하심을 따라 너희를 구원하는 세례의 표시로서 육체의 더러움을 제거함이 아니고 선한 양심으로 하나님을 찾아가는 것이라. 그는 하늘에 오르셔서 하나님 우편에 계시며 천사들과 권세들과 능력들의 복종을 받으심이라(3:18-22)” 하였듯, 그리스도의 헌신적 사랑을 본받으라 가르칩니다.

So, that the Scripture teaches us to have faith that imitates Christ’s devoted love, death and resurrection, as “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. After being made alive, he went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits, to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also, not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who was gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand, with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him. (3:18-22)”

왜냐하면 “그리스도께서 육체의 고난을 받으셨으니 너희도 같은 마음으로 무장하고 육체의 고난을 받으라 육체로 고난을 받은 자들이 죄를 그쳤음이라. 그러므로 남은 생애를 육신의 악한 정욕을 따르지 않고 하나님의 뜻을 따라 살게 되리라. 너희가 이방인들과 같이 음란한 정욕으로 술취하고 방탕하며 향락을 즐기며 무법한 우상을 숭배하던 것은 지나 날로 족함이라. 너희가 그런 방탕에 그들과 동참하지 않는 것을 이상히 여기며 비난하지만, 산 자와 죽은 자를 심판하실 이에게 그들이 고백하게 되리라. 죽은 자들에게도 복음이 전파된 것은 그들의 영혼이 하나님께 심판을 받게 하려 함이라(4:1-6)” 하였듯, 고난과 연단을 이겨내며 자라난 믿음으로만 육신의 죄에 빠진 사람들을 건져줄 수 있기 때문입니다.

Because, only a mature faith that has grown through overcoming hardship and trials can save those who have fallen into the sin of the flesh, as “Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, are yourselves also with the suffers in the body is done with sin. As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do, living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry. They are surprised that you do not join them in their reckless, wild living, and they heap abuse on you. But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might6 be judged according to human standards in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit. (4:1-6)”

왜냐하면 “만물의 마지막이 가까웠으므로 깨끗한 마음으로 절제하며 기도하라. 사랑은 무수한 죄를 덮어주므로 무엇보다 서로 뜨겁게 사랑하라. 불평하지 말고 서로 대접하라. 각각 은사를 받은 대로 섬기고 하나님의 여러 가지 은혜를 따라 충실하게 베풀라. 말씀 전하는 자는 하나님께서 말씀하시게 하고 섬기는 자는 하나님이 공급하시는 힘으로 하라 그러면 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 하나님께서 모든 영광을 받으시고 그에게 영광과 권능이 영원하도록 있으리라(4:7-11)” 하였듯, 성령의 은혜를 따라 순종하는 진실한 사랑의 열매를 맺어야 온전한 믿음으로 구원을 얻기 때문입니다.

Because, we can be saved his eternal life through his perfectly obeying faith within the grace of the Holy Spirit that produces the fruit of life by his true loves with humble minded, as “The end of all things is near. Therefore, be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in it5s various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one he speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. (4:7-11)”

왜냐하면 “너희가 그리스도의 이름으로 고난을 당하면 영광스러운 하나님의 영이 너희 위에 계시는 복을 받은 것임이라. 너희 중에 누구든지 살인이나 도둑질이나 악행이나 남의 일을 간섭하는 자로 고난을 받지 않게 하라. 만일 그리스도인으로 고난을 받으면 부끄러워하지 말고 도리어 그 이름으로 찬양하며 하나님께 영광을 돌리라. 하나님의 심판은 먼저 가족에서부터 시작되는데 우리에게 먼저 시작하면 하나님의 복음에 순종하지 않은 자들은 어떻게 되고, 의인이 구원받기 어려우면 경건하지 않은 죄인들은 어떻게 되겠느냐, 그러므로 하나님의 뜻대로 고난을 받는 자들은 신실하신 창조주께 자신을 맡기고 선행을 하라(4:14-19)” 하였듯, 우리가 죽기까지 순종해야 심판대에서 믿음으로 인정받고 구원을 얻기 때문입니다.

Because, we can be recognized right faith to be saved at the judgement seat of Christ after death of our body who must obey until his death only, as “If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. For it is time for judgement to begin with God’s household, and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And, If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner? So then, those who suffer4 according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good. (4:14-19)”

그래서 “그리스도의 고난의 증인으로 장차 나타날 영광에 참여할 자이며 너희와 함께 장로 된 내가 장로들에게 권고하노라. 하나님께서 너희에게 맡기신 양떼를 의무적으로 돌보지 말고 하나님의 뜻대로 자원하는 마음으로 기꺼이 섬기며 돈을 탐하지 말라. 맡겨진 자들에게 짐을 지우지 말고 오히려 양떼의 본이 되라. 그러면 목자장이 나타나실 때에 시들지 않는 영광의 면류관을 얻으리라(5:1-4)” 하였듯, 우리에게 기쁨과 감사와 찬양 가운데 모든 사람을 사랑으로 섬기는 삶으로 믿음의 본을 보이라 가르칩니다.

So, the Scripture asked to us to show an example of faith by living a life of lovely services to all people with always joyful, thankful, and praiseful minds to God, as “To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s glory to be revealed. Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them, not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be, not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve, not lording it over thus entrusted to you, but being example to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away. (5:1-4)”

왜냐하면, “젊은이들아 하나님은 교만한 자를 대적하시고 겸손한 자에게 은혜를 베푸시므로 겸손으로 허리를 동이고 장로들에게 순종하라. 하나님의 능력 아래에서 겸손하라 때가 되면 높이심이라. 너희 염려를 다 주께 맡기라 그가 너희를 돌보심이라. 너희 대적 마귀가 우는 사자 같이 두루 다니며 삼킬 자를 찾으므로 근신하며 깨어 있으라. 믿음에 굳건하게 서서 그를 대적하라 온 세상 모든 형제들이 너희와 동일한 고난을 당하는 줄을 너희가 앎이라. 그리스도 안에서 영원한 영광에 들어가게 하시려고 너희를 부르신 은혜로우신 하나님이 너희를 잠시 고난을 당하게 하신 후에 온전하고 굳건하며 흔들리지 않게 하시리라(5:5-10)” 하였듯, 자신을 낮추고 섬기는 겸손한 마음에만 임하여 사용하며 이루시는 그리스도의 임마누엘 은혜로운 섭리 때문입니다. 사랑하는 성도 여러분, 말씀과 성령으로 가르치는 복음의 진리를 따라 섬기는 진실한 사랑으로 구원을 얻어 부활하고 영생하시기를 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

Because, it is the graciously providence of Christ’s Immanuel, who comes to whom, humbly serving hearts, and leads, uses, and fulfills to according to his eternal purposes, as “In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble. Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. (5:5-10)” Dear saints, I pray and earnestly bless you in the name of Jesus Christ, that you may keep and serve the truth of the gospel taught by the Word and the Holy Spirit, obeying even death with true love, and obtain salvation and eternal life in heaven.
