Most people think that it is good to take rice porridge when they suffers from indigestion
because they think the porridge might be more digestive than rice or bread.
Is it really true?
Never at all!
Vertually lots of people appeal more suffering after taking porridge when in indigestion.
Why they do?
There are various reasons of indigestion. I do not classify the reasons of indigestion hereby.
But among them, the humidity is a common cause of indigestion in Korea or in east asia
whose foods have lots of water.
In case of indigestion due to the humidity, the pooridge containing water will suffer more
than dehydrated foods, such as dried hard bread or rice cakes. So these foods may be
the medicine for the indigestion caused by over humidity temporarily. As you know, a
pregnant woman takes biscuits when she feels morning sickness or nausea. This is
the same medication as that of east asian medicine based on KIMI theory.
I introduce a recent case hereunder.
Case
A few days ago, I recieved a night call from a woman in forties appealing indigestion,
headache, vomitting and finally got exhausted not to say a word. So she took rice
porridge but vomitted and water blended with sugar but vomitted too.
She was nearly crying to complain about her health that such a case is not rare.
I know her constitutional characteristics of her own phyiology that she has naturally
lots of humidity. So the temporal treatment is very simple.
"Please seek for dry foods in the kitchen and eat them right now."
"I said I would vomit even a spoonful of water. Do you really advise me?"
"Yes, mom. I really say my truth."
Tomorrow morning, she called me and thanked in bright voice.
"According to your instruction, I took a dried bread. It is a miracle!
I got my stomch easy at right and stopped headache. You know, I had to vomit
even the porridge but so good with the dried bread. Thank sir!
Suppose that she should get an injection of Ringer's solution in the hospital EM,
she would be suffered more due to more humidity.
If you know the KIMI, all of foods in your kitchen can be effective medicine.
