To enter the rest that is in Jesus Christ, the gospel of Christ we have heard must mix with faith within us. Rest does not come from not working. True rest is found when we enter the Lord's rest.
The word which we hear must be the gospel of Christ. Only the gospel of Christ can provide faith. The Bible is a book of genealogy. It is the book of life. Because Christ, the Son, is in us through the Spirit of truth, we have God's life, eternal life.
We are recorded in the genealogy of Abraham.
Through Christ, the seed of God, we have become children of God.
Do not forget that we are partakers of Christ.
Why did Israel died in the wilderness?
It was because their hearts hardened when they heard God's voice. It was an evil heart of unbelief. Their affection and lusts, even when they saw God's works, caused them to complain and grumble, and they were unable to enter his rest.
Today, in these last days, the Holy Spirit says to the churches, hear the voice of the Son.
"Whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; they have passed from death to life. Now is, when the dead hear the voice of the Son, and those who hear will live.
Today, Christ, the Son, says within us through the Holy Spirit.
He who has ears, let him hear.
Before the atonement on the cross, we were dead in sin and trespasses in Adam.
We followed the ways of the world and the prince of the power of the air. We lived in the lusts of our flesh and were by nature children of wrath.
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of the great love that loved us, made us alive together with Christ, and raised us up with him and made us sit together in the same heavenly place in Christ Jesus.
God sends the Spirit of truth into us in the name of the Lord and lets us know that we are in Christ, the Son, and Christ the Son is in us.
So we are new creations in Christ, have eternal life, and are children of God. We died and became alive again.
Romans 6 is about baptism.
For we were baptized into Christ Jesus into his death, buried with him, united with him in the likeness of his resurrection, so that we also might live with him.
So we ourselves are dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Have you been baptized?
Why are you baptized?
Because of the resurrection of the dead.
Hallelujah!
In Adam, we were dead in our trespasses and sins, but by the grace of Christ Jesus' atonement, we have been transferred into Christ Jesus and made alive in him.
Do you believe or not?
Jesus Christ was crucified for our sins and rose from the dead on the third day for our righteousness. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God, and has sent the Spirit of truth into us.
This Spirit of truth becomes Christ in us.
God has given us the Spirit of Christ. God has given us the Spirit of the Son. Christ is the life-giving Spirit.
The life of the Lord wells up within us like a fountain.
This life of the Lord bears our weaknesses and sicknesses.
Hallelujah.
When truth wells up within us, God's righteousness come down from heaven.
Truth and righteousness meet within us.
Then peace with God is achieved, the glory of the Lord is revealed within us, and the joy of the Lord is fulfilled.
Glory, glory, hallelujah, glory, glory, hallelujah
Glory, glory, hallelujah, glory, glory, hallelujah
We have victory.
That is, those who are born again by the Holy Spirit see the glory of God's kingdom and enter into God's kingdom.
We enter into his rest.
We must receive God's righteousness in the gospel of Christ by faith, have peace with God and approach the throne of grace. So we receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Therefore, the righteous live by faith.
We are holy brothers, partakers of the heavenly calling, partakers of Christ, temples of the Holy Spirit, temples of God, houses of God, fields of God. Remember this.
"The Holy Spirit says: Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts."
