Bible Reading - Proverbs 29:19~27

29:19 A servant cannot be corrected by mere words; though he understands, he will not respond.

하인은 말만으로는 바로잡을 수 없다. 알아들을지라도 따르지 않을 것이다.

29:20 Do you see a man who speaks in haste? 서둘러(성급하게) 말하는 사람을 보는가?

There is more hope for a fool than for him.그보다 어리석은 사람에게 더 큰 희망이 있다.

29:21 If a man pampers(애지중지하다) his servant from youth, he will bring grief in the end(결국에).

주인이 하인을 어릴 때부터 너무 애지중지하면, 결국에 그는 주인에게 슬픔을 안겨준다.

29:22 An angry man stirs up(일으키다) dissension(불화), 화를 내는 사람은 불화를 일으키고

and a hot-tempered one(성격이 급한 사람) commits many sins. 성격이 급한 사람은 많은 죄를 짓는다.

29:23 A man's pride brings him low, but a man of lowly spirit gains honor.

사람의 교만함은 그를 낮춰버리지만, 겸손한 마음은 명예를 얻는다.

29:24 The accomplice(공범자) of a thief is his own enemy; 도둑의 공범자가 그 자신의 적이며

he is put under oath and dare not testify. 그는 맹세를 하지만 감히 증언하지 못한다.

29:25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare(올가미,덫), 사람에 대한 두려움은 덫이 될 것이나

but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe. 여호와를 신뢰하는 자는 안전히 거하리라.

29:26 Many seek an audience(공식회견) with a ruler, 많은 사람들이 통치자와 면담을 원하지만 

but it is from the LORD that man gets justice. 사람은 여호와로부터 공의를 얻는다.

29:27 The righteous detest the dishonest; 의로운 자는 정직하지 않은 자를 혐오하며

the wicked detest the upright. 악한 자는 정직한 자를 혐오(미워)한다.
