<p><span>Israel's military has struck multiple homes in northern Gaza, leaving at least 87 people dead or missing, according to the territory's Health Ministry.</span> <br><br><span>The ministry has said at least another 40 people have been wounded in the strikes on the town of Beit Lahiya.</span> <br><br><span>Beit Lahiya is in northern Gaza, which was among the first targets of Israel's ground invasion nearly a year ago.</span> <br><br><span>Israel's military has been attacking the north of Gaza for the past two weeks.</span> <br><br><span>Palestinian officials say hundreds of people have been killed and that the health sector in the north is on the verge of collapse.</span> <br><br><span>I'm Karen Chammas.</span></p>
