Job description (Document Controller)
JOB TITLE: Document Control Specialist
REPORTS TO: Engineering Team Sr. Manager
LOCATION: Taylor, TX
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Print and Distribute documents as needed
- Scan and upload documents according to company procedure
- Collect and register all technical documents such as Drawings, RFI’s, Submittals, Change Order’s, Field Reports, QA/QC Documents, Vendor and Contractor Supplied items, or any other pertinent or sensitive documents in the company’s programs and system.
- Review and update documents for maintenance and quality control
- Keep other personnel updated on new document versions and how to obtain access
- Handle records across various departments
- Create templates for use by other personnel
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive documents
- Establish and maintain record retention timelines
Qualification/Requirement
- Available to handle various construction documents and know construction acronyms.
- Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams), Adobe and Procore. Knowledge with Knox or other Samsung Documents Management Systems is a plus.
- Must be a team player and self-starter to handle vast volumes of documentation without the need of strong oversight.
- Must be available to work unscheduled overtime if needed.

JOB TITLE: Field Control Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review subcontractor’s deliverables
- Review invoice
- Administer and manage the subcontracts including cost reporting, negotiation of claim
- Overall ownership of subcontract
- Drafting a letter to subcontractors
Qualification/Requirement
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in cost controlling
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office programs
- Proficient with computer programs and a working knowledge of new technology
Job description (Safety Control Supervisor) - Night Shift and Weekend Duty
JOB TITLE: Field Control Specialist
REPORTS TO: Field Control Manager
LOCATION: Taylor, TX
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Contractor safety program that engages employees, Subcontractor and vendors at all levels.
- Ability to anticipate, identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices associated with the contractor safety program.
- Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures and programs to supplement the contractor safety program.
- Lead and advise contractor related risk assessment reviews and processes.
- Measure, audit and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control elements.
- Review and audit pre-task plans, site risk analyses and standard operating procedures.
- Instruct safety related classes as necessary such as mobile elevated work platforms, LOTO, Fall protection, Electrical Safety, etc.
- Time management spent in the field and working closely with Contractors, vendors, and field safety team personnel.
- Work with a dozen general and subcontractor safety professionals to develop site improvement.
- Participate in daily, weekly or monthly contractor and vendor meetings.
- Drive timely completion of investigations and corrective actions associated with incidents, near-miss incidents, and compliance inspections.
- Assist with the daily management of the tiered auditing program including closure of facility's preventative and corrective action plans.
- Ensure records are maintained in compliance with internal, local, state, provincial, and federal EHS laws, regulations, permits and program
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, environmental science or safety science.
- 2 - 10 years of HSE experience in construction, manufacturing and/or contractor management.
- Certification such as CSP, CIH, SHEP, CSHO, CHST etc.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with all levels of personnel on site required. Spanish prefered.
- Experience in designing programs and procedures that control, eliminate, and prevent injuries/illnesses and environmental incidents.
- Extensive working knowledge of state and federal laws/regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT).
- Familiarity with hazardous materials, related regulations and NIOSH standards.
- Working knowledge of OHSAS 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Strong preference for experience at a semiconductor manufacturing (FAB) facility.
- Strong preference for experience in electrical substation construction and commissioning.
- Experience dealing with federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
