Bible Reading - Proverbs 30:10~20

30:10 "Do not slander a servant to his master, 주인에게 종을 비방하지 말라.

or he will curse you, and you will pay for it.

그렇지 않으면 그가 너를 저주할 것이며 너는 그 대가를 치러야 할 것이다.

30:11 "There are those who curse their fathers and do not bless their mothers;

아버지를 저주하고 어머니를 축복하지 않는 자들이 있다.

30:12 those who are pure in their own eyes and yet are not cleansed of their filth(오물);

자기 눈에는 깨끗한 자들이나, 자기의 더러움을 씻지 아니한 자들이 있으며

30:13 those whose eyes are ever so haughty(거만한), whose glances(시선) are so disdainful(멸시하는);

그들의 눈은 언제나 거만하고, 그들의 시선은 언제나 멸시로 가득 차 있으며

30:14 those whose teeth are swords and whose jaws(턱) are set with knives to devour the poor from the earth, the needy(궁핍한 자들) from among mankind. 그 이빨은 칼이고 턱은 칼날로 이루어져 있어 가난한 사람을 땅에서 삼키고, 인류 가운데서 궁핍한 사람을 삼키려는 자들이니라.

30:15 "The leech(거머리) has two daughters. 'Give! Give!' they cry.

거머리에게 딸 둘이 있다. '줘! 줘!'하고 그들은 외친다.

"There are three things that are never satisfied, four that never say, 'Enough!':

결코 만족하지 않는 세 가지 있고, 결코 '충분하다!'고 말하지 않는 네 가지가 있다.

30:16 the grave, the barren(불임의) womb, land, which is never satisfied with water, and fire, which never says, 'Enough!' 무덤, 임신하지 못하는 자궁, 물로 결코 만족하지 못하는 땅, 그리고 결코 '충분하다!'고 말하지 않는 불이있다.

30:17 "The eye that mocks(비웃다) a father, that scorns(멸시하다) obedience to a mother,

아버지를 비웃고 어머니에게 순종하는 것을 멸시하는 눈은

will be pecked out(쪼여지다) by the ravens of the valley, 골짜기의 까마귀들에게 쪼여질 것이며

will be eaten by the vultures. 독수리에게 먹힐 것이다. 

30:18 "There are three things that are too amazing for me, 나에게는 너무나 놀라운 세 가지가 있으며

four that I do not understand: 내가 이해하지 못하는 네 가지가 있다.

30:19 the way of an eagle in the sky, 하늘에서 독수리의 길,

the way of a snake on a rock, 바위 위의 뱀의 길,

the way of a ship on the high seas, 공해 위의 배의 길,

and the way of a man with a maiden(소녀). 소녀와 함께 하는 남자의 길이다.

30:20 "This is the way of an adulteress(간음하는 여자): 이것이 간음녀의 길이다.

She eats and wipes her mouth and says, 'I've done nothing wrong.

그녀는 먹고 입을 닦으며 '난 아무 잘못이 없어.'라고 말한다.
